Caravan site is easy to find if you follow the signs for caravan site and not your Tom Tom off the A415 Wide entrance.
Dog friendly site.
Staff are very friendly and showed us to our pitch.
Site spotless
Shop on site
Toilets clean
Shower push button but not hot enough for me
Hair dryers a charge
Bar on site but limited opening times.
Cannot take your dog in to bar.
Plenty of seating outside.
2 pubs in walking distance. Dog friendly
Stunning lakes. Fishing and full water sport facilities.
Buoyed off area for swimming in lake. Nice walks.
Supermarkets, petrol station five miles away.

The site staff were very welcoming and helpful. It was a very busy weekend with lots of families but there was no problem with noise or disturbance. There are plenty of showers and toilet cubicles.
All was very clean. There is a clubhouse/bar. We didn't use it but it seemed popular. There is a separate area for football and you can swim in the edge of the old gravel pit if you like. It's well placed for trips into Oxford or the Vale of the White Horse.
The shop staff were very friendly. A good selection of hot take away food is available. Those who like water/waste water facilities close might moan but it was perfectly adequate.
Wifi is good with a range of deals to suit - we went for email/browsing only at £1. 50 for an hour.

Good level site. Friendly staff and organised for possible late arrival. Good directions to find the site, satnav sent us to other side of the lake but we were rescued over the phone by the lady who knew the area well.
Clean facilities, be warned the showers are powerful, leave your shoes well back or hang them up as the hot water is brilliant but goes everywhere at first press.
Will visit again, but we did go out of school holidays.

I have been going to the site for about 5 years. I do get fed up with the children playing ball games on the site, when there is a sign no balls games. But the children take no notice.
The club pub is over priced but the food is good. The staff on site are mostly very nice. I paid for internet, but when I got back to caravan, lost internet - think you need to be near the office to have internet. Got fed up in the end and gave up.
Don't think I will be going back to the site again

Separate hot and cold water taps- couldn't wash up or brush teeth without getting either burnt or freezing cold. The taps automatically turn off the second you stop pressing them down. There was always plenty of water on the floor in the shower block. Hundreds of big spiders hanging over the door to the toilets and above your head in the washing up area- Never seen anything like it! They should be swept away regularly- saw comment about that in a review from 2 years ago but clearly no action was taken. Our field was just by the road so it was quite noisy, though quietened by the night. The site is massive and with only one toilet block which I thought wasn't enough for the parks size.
The only reason we went there was for the lake- which was lovely but very deep, do book the watersports in advance as they haven't got much equipment and it is usually quite booked.

This is an excellent campsite with very clean and good toilet block. The pitches are an excellent size and its very peaceful and well run. The staff are very friendly and happy and run a tight ship. There is a town nearby with everything you need.
You can go for lovely walks around the lake and nearby village. It has a football pitch and swimming areas at the lake. The water sports facility is excellent and we still use them even when were not camping. The staff there are very friendly and its great fun.
The shop is great and the bacon baguettes are the best ever. We have them every morning for breakfast. They are a must. The club is good and good food and it has a small play park by it which the children enjoy.
This is a campsite where you want to relax and have quality time together.

We have just spent a fantastic weekend at Hardwick Park with a group of friends, all with children. It is a large site, we were on the top field with no electric hook up. Had plenty of space, no more than 5 tents allowed in any one group and no single sex parties allowed. Large, clean shower block, water always hot! Laundry room, with freezer where freezer blocks can be left free of charge. Great little shop, well priced. Fresh pain o chocholats and croissants baked to order in the morning. Overall the site was clean and safe, security man on main gate. All staff very friendly and helpful. The highlight for us was the watersport centre linked to the site. I recommend that the actives are prebooked as they do get very busy. Our children kayaked and went out on the doughnuts, great value for money. The lake also had a swimming area. The only downside was the mosquitoes from the lake at night, we were aware of this and took a good insect repellent. None of us got bitten, but are aware it could be an issue. There is a club house, I can't comment on as we didn't use, and a small children's play area. There is a football pitch and a lovely walk around the lake. Wildlife is abundant! We believe the weekend camping including some watersports on Saturday and Sunday for our family of 4 cost us under £100. Fantastic, we plan to return!

What a lovely place to visit. We have been here twice this year.
This is a huge site, very friendly reception and staff. Lovely lady who runs the site shop.
In the middle of several lakes, some for fishing, some for motor boat activity and some for sailing dinghies.
Lots of walking, areas of one of the lakes are suitable for paddling and swimming.
Large areas for football, kite flying, etc.
Very relaxing. Our grandchildren love it.

When contacting to book the lady is great! booked pitch with no electric for tent. Led to field by nice guy and left to choose pitch. Once set up we walked around site to discover water sports and lake for swimming great!.
Site is secure and when returning a security guard checks your permit which is good feeling. Great site for all!. Site shop and cafe/ takeaway great.
Some campers behind hedge row in next field were very loud until 3 aam, but Hey! everyone nice and friendly! you're here to chill out so this means being patient.
The site is great and facilities spotless.
Very busy with good mixture of people.
Witney is a lovely town close by.
The shower block was very clean but busy, one lady opened gents door to find son and saw me in all my glory! she must of had nightmares after but managed to be polite! but red faced! I hope I did not spoil her holiday? or put her off men for life!
Washing up outside was busy and subject to seasonal guests with social etc. So felt awkward.
Watching all from tent in evening with wine was entertaining and nice to see such diversity of people in field. The site is family friendly and dog friendly with bal[ games being everywhere and a feeling of holiday!
Spot on !
WOULD GO AGAIN AND THE SITE AND AREA GREAT!

A group of us stayed here for the weekend. Nice hot showers-no need to queue. Nice dog walks on site around lake. Unfortunately they do not allow dogs in the bar so we had to eat in shifts as it was raining! Was noisy after 11-drunk singing-but that stopped at midnight when the warden came round. Staff friendly although only 3 tents are allowed to pitch together and we had 4 tents which was a shame. Would return.
