Lovely friendly clean site. Good spaces between other campers. We like rural sites but everything we needed was there they had thought of everything. Lovely clubhouse staff very friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night as we had a show to go to but we will be back. A pretty setting. Lots of wild life to see. Had the weather been warmer I'm sure there would have been things to watch on the lake. Nothing was to mush trouble. The toilets were very clean I also like the sinks for washing pots.

The weekend we went was fantastic weather our Indian Summer. We chose this campsite because of the good reviews, it wasn't too far from home and as the weather was very hot we thought it would be great for our dog and 11 year old child as we knew they would both love swimming in the lake. The lake is fantastic, lovely and clean with sectioned off swimming areas. There is a nice walk around the lake and you could also do various watersports, although they were fully booked for the whole weekend when we had a look at the watersports centre. It was nice just to sit by the lake and watch people waterskiing, boating and going along in inflatable rings being pulled by speedboats.

The toilets and shower facilities were great, with hairdryers to use for a charge and also electric sockets at a charge for your own hair straighteners etc.

The shop on site was small but adequate. The clubhouse was lovely, it all looked very new with tables outside overlooking the lake, which was excellent for us with the dog. The food was typical pub grub with good sized portions and reasonable prices.

The park was next to the clubhouse, it was quite small and there wasn't really enough equipment to keep our daughter entertained but for children a little bit younger it would have been OK. It was nice for facilities to sit and have a drink and they could watch their children on the park.

There were plenty of sinks for washing up.

The pitches were great and not too close together.

The staff were extremely friendly and you could tell they took great pride in their campsite.

Witney was very close by for shopping.

We did not go to any of the local pubs but our camping neighbours did and said they were nice and both within walking distance (maybe too far for young kids).

We would definitely go to this campsite again.

A fantastic site. Just returned from this excellent site after a weekend stay.

The amenities was excellent and the staff extremely friendly and very welcoming. Very well laid out and the toilets and showers was spotless to say the least. Fabulous clubhouse and bar and food service, Also not strict and regimental like some campsites are.

A free and unrestricted place to be in my opinion. A nice shop and laundry service, plenty of boiling hot water at the washing up area.

Lovely walks and lakes and watersports and swimming area for all ages. A very relaxing time and very laid back break to recharge the batteries.

Will definitely be returning here again and again. What more could you possibly ask for.

We just went for the weekend, probably the most friendly polite staff we have met. We were shown to our pitch by the warden, large pitch, very level, no fussing on how to park as there was lots of room between pitches. Nice walks around the lake which you are free to swim in (and the dog). Water was very clean and watersport available if you like. Nice club house next to lake, food was reasonable price and they do Sunday roast and take away. Very good motorhome service point. If we had hot sunny weather this would have been perfect.

Stayed for 3nts mid sept [just before heatwave], reception lady friendly and helpful and showed us to our allocated pitch, then asked if ok or did we want somewhere different, it was fine so we got sorted and had a look around.

We were close to on site club house, which we did use for take out food at night, reasonable selection, not bad prices/quality.

Nearby toilets/showers clean and adequate but seen better.

Brilliant for walking our choc lab around the lake area also she was able to do lots of her favourite thing which is swimming, and if a little warmer we would have got in as well.

Will def be returning next summer

It was my first visit to this site and it definitely wont be my last. I was very impressed by the size of it and the way the pitches were slightly staggered.

The wardens were very helpful telling us we could face any way, if we liked the sun or didn't.

The amenities were very good and the clubhouse was still open, even in the middle of Sept. We past a couple of supermarkets on the way out to Witney which is a lovely place.

We only went for a few days but we managed to see lots of pretty villages. Can't wait to go back next year still lots to see.

Returned to this site for the 3rd time.

Wardens as friendly and helpful as ever. Shown to pitch and helped to unhook and push into place.

Club house very clean and meals were good value.

Only used the disabled facilities which were kept very clean.

Shop seemed a bit pricey but we brought our own food with us. However there is a Waitrose and Sainsbury's about 15 minutes drive away in Witney.

A very busy bank holiday weekend with lots of families, dogs and children which caused no problems at all.

Lots of people trying all sorts of waters ports on offer and a play area and football area for the kids

Great firework display to round of the weekend.

This is one of the best campsites we have visited. On arrival the staff in reception were so friendly and took into consideration our specific needs to allocate the perfect pitch.

There are 4 camping fields so even though it was very busy, it never felt very crowded.

The facilities were very clean all day as they were regularly checked by the staff and there were so many showers, toilets and sinks that I never had to queue and I never felt crowded.

The camp shop was well stocked (although quite expensive) and there were plenty of local shops in Witney for supplies.

The site also has a bar which serves food. We had take away one evening but did not visit for a drink. The staff there were also really friendly and the bar was well used by other campers.

The staff on site were always around and were really friendly and helpful. The whole site had a very friendly, safe feeling and the children were able to run off and play in the woods and by the lake and make lots of new friends, which they really enjoyed.

The site has a laundry, freezer for ice blocks and and information centre with suggestions for wet weather activities. On the one day it rained we did some of the suggested activities and had a great day!

The lake is beautiful and has swimming and fishing areas, as well as a water sports centre for water ski-ing and lots more. There is a stable just down the road which we visited. We had a hack through their grounds which was great fun. The local area has so much to do and Witney is well worth a visit.

This site is a real gem and well worth a visit.

Just had a very enjoyable week on this site just 14 miles from home.

Well received at the reception office who were surprised that I was setting up my trailer tent alone (husband was working all week and was to be collected late in the afternoon). When I was shown to my pitch I was told to pitch with the concrete disk 'roughly' in the centre of the unit.

For a relatively large site the ablutions were very clean and tidy especially as it was during the school holidays.

The facilities on site are very good although we didn't use the clubhouse. We did notice that lots did use the club but that there was no unpleasant noise from it.

The walk around the lake each evening with our dog meant plenty of exercise.

To finish I'd like to add that all staff were very pleasant from the minute I arrived to when we left a week later. They were always willing to have a chat.

A very enjoyable place and we will be going back.

Just returned from Harwick parks and overall had a nice break.

The wardens were very friendly on arrival, and showed us to our pitch which was 'huge', we got our Kampa Lulworth and a car either side and still had space!

The Park can get very full and busy, but as there are 5 or 6 different fields didn't feel too full.

The location is great with the lakes on site that you can swim in, not too cold either!:) and watersports centre that is cheap IMO, great walks for the dog !

A little bit or road noise, but you seem to get that everywhere nowadays, and the toilets/showers aren't the best but adequate. I. E no shelf of mirrors etc in showers to get ready you have to use the rows of sinks - we prefer cubicals with showers and sinks in etc.

Also as the site was busy these did get a little messy through the day.

The club house is new and very good, food looked good, but drinks pricey, Guinness and fosters £7, but captive audience, nice pubs in village only 10 min walk away. The club house has loud music / entertainment until approx 11pm on Sat's so request a pitch away from this as it was very loud if in the field next to it!

Final Word - Great for groups and kids ( thinking of organising a trip with the Rugby boys - the lakes would be fun ) but for a couples week end would choose a smaller site.
