Just got back from a three night stay at this park. It is located in a lovely area with nice views on the way up the drive and also from the dog run. The hard standing pitches look a decent size but we felt very hemmed in with a seasonal pitch and awning on one side and a rather inconsiderate chap on the other. The showers are clean and tidy but the push button operation is very annoying. Wifi is available and I paid £7. 50 for a three day card. It's not the best of the tranquil parks that we have been to by any means and it is expensive for what you get. Would go back to the area but would probably stay elsewhere.

Very well organised site in that all the pitches were hard standing with enough space for a car too. There are lots of rabbits running around which was quite entertaining. We made use of the putting green, which is not for professional golfers, but is highly entertaining none the less with the added bunny hazard. I only used the showers once and found they had plenty of hot water and the toilets were always clean. Good location for exploring the Peak District. It is quite pricey though at £24 per night.

This is a lovely site. Peace and tranquillity reign.
The Wardens were helpful and friendly. The facilities were clean and tidy.
The surrounding area was attractive and the views spectacular.
Longnor village was nearby with charming pubs and shops.
Ideally situated for visiting the Peak District. Leek and Buxton all in reasonable driving distances.
Discount available for tickets to Chatsworth House.
Would definitely return

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of May. It was torrential rain when we setup the tent and the warden asked us to keep our car in the car park after we'd setup so as not to ruin the field, which is fair enough.
We needed an extension lead for our electric hookup and they were happy to lend us one.
The facilities were spotless. We found the showers to have sufficient pressure and a warm temperature. It was also very handy to have a microwave to use in the washing up area.
The site itself has very good views down the valley, it extremely quiet with lots of wildlife. A perfect place to switch off and relax.
Highly recommended. Would definitely return.

Very well maintained adult only site with good facilities and friendly helpful wardens. Great to get aerial extension for tv and reasonably priced broadband access especially given poor weather meant we spent a lot of evenings in caravan as opposed to outdoors.
Can't help at feeling a bit disappointed however. Toilets and showers were clean but showers were old bush button style, lasting only about 30 seconds between pushes!
Good sized cubicles but water was not particularly hot and obviously temperature could not be altered. Pressure not great either but again this was due to shower style I think. I personally think these let the site down as at £24 a night it is not the cheapest or best value site that I have stayed at.
Site is in nice rural location but not within walking distance of village pub/shop unless you are perhaps a more seasoned hill walker type. You definitely need a car to get out and about.

Found this site with no problems at all. Was recommended the site by friends and was not disappointed.
Wardens were very helpful and friendly. The site was quite and well lit. The facilities were very clean and of a good standard.
Adults only made the site quiet, which was a welcome break to the last site we stayed on (Hollands Wood).
Overall we would go back, as it was exactly what we were expecting/needed.

Peaceful friendly site. Our first time we are new to camping and motor homing. Quiet location never used facilities but believe thy were good and clean.
Free to use games badminton boules darts etc and able to lend DVD films.
Said it was 1 mile into town but I think that is as the crow flies walking I would say almost 2 miles but a nice if not a little hilly walk.
3 pubs, lovely chip shop and convenience store in longnor its handy to drive to Buxton, chatsworth house and surrounding areas
Would use this site again and recommend it to other adults only seeking peace and tranquillity

Lovely Campsite.
We were met by the very friendly and informative owner, who showed us where everything was.
The tent field was nice and secluded, all plots were taken, but we were not on top of each other. It was a very friendly site.
The shower block/Toilets were very good, clean and tidy. 3 showers in the ladies, 2 of them you had to keep pushing the button for water, but the middle one was a 'proper' shower!
The owners reception has a little shop for those little emergencies, also selling meat/eggs/bread etc, .
There are 3/4 pubs in the local village, along with a village store, fish n chip shop.
Would definitely revisit this campsite again!

Lovely clean, tidy, peaceful site. Good size plots The site warden was help full but never intrusive. Facilities were first class.
Would recommend you to take rock pegs for awning, some sites will actually lend them for small charge.
A couple of pubs in Longnor which serve food.
Close to parts of the Tissington trail.
The route to the site is marginally better from the direction of Leek as far as towing is concerned.

We are new to 'motorhoming' so don't have much to compare this site with but on arrival we were given a very warm welcome and shown to our plot.
The plots seem quite spacious, the whole site was very clean, tidy and quiet. (A big bonus being adult only!)
When the office wasn't manned all you had to do was ring the bell and there was a member of staff there within seconds!
Very clean toilets with hand basin in each cubicle. Very clean showers with plenty of hot water, drying/dressing space with a seat.
Lots of birds, rabbits and squirrels around the site. Would definitely use again.
