Little else to say in addition to the other reviewers about the wonderful location being very close (but not adjacent to) a lovely beach with walks in either direction. No complaints and a nice one night stay on a tour of Scotland.
The site is lovely but, having stayed at a lot of sites on the west coast, probably not quite as idyllic as I was expecting. There are a good few statics at the rear of the site which inevitably have an impact and the main field for tent campers is at the rear of the site (I do motorhome and tent camping). I do always wonder what it being left out when the photo gallery on the website includes very few photos of the actual campsite; in this case it's the statics.
Facilities were very clean and well maintained. Wardens very helpful and friendly.
Motorhome waste point available.

Lovely site near beach with coastal walks nearby. Very friendly and helpful proprietors. Clean facilities. Lovely road from Lochinver and going out the other way through Drumbeg. Walk out to Old Man of Stoer and Stoer head worth doing. Also whales and dolphins spotted from the site.

We've just finished Route 500 and stayed here for one night. Wish we had stayed longer. Fantastic site, on the beach. Fab sandy beach and beautiful turquoise sea - our dog loved it! V friendly mum and daughter team checked us in. Toilets And showers modern and clean and there are also laundry facilities on site. This was one of the best sites we stayed at during our 2 week trip. Access is passing place only for about 5 miles but it's fine - our unit is 6 metre motorhome and we managed fine.
There is a little cafe along the road. Lochinver is nearest town with fuel and couple of shops. There is a really good little cafe in Lochinver serving beautiful pies so either eat in or take away for dinner to reheat later. I loved this site and hope to return - thoroughly recommend this one.

We were recommended this site and location while touring Scotland. It is a little out of the way. If you are using a motorhome or caravan it will be better to access the site via the A837 rather than the B869 which is narrow with passing places and has some steep climbs.
There is a small shop near the site, no pubs or restaurants. The nearest hostelries are 5 miles away in Lochinver. There is a nice beach although it is rocky at the waters edge. There are some walks nearby. Nothing too hilly.
We received a very warm welcome from the site managers and they were extremely helpful. It cost us £22 for two adults with electric hook up.
The site facilities are good. Nice and clean and up to date. There are laundry facilities. A wash load costs £4.
If you want a nice quiet couple of days in a remote but lovely location then this is for you

If you like to get away from it all, this is the place. Very friendly and very welcoming reception from lady on the campsite. Shown where to park and where to connect hookup, water tap next to pitch. This is a well equipped campsite in perfect location, close to spectacular beach. Can imagine it being very popular with families in the summer holidays.

This is a very pretty, out of the way site. It's not one that you would come across by accident. You have to negotiate a long and winding single track road to reach it. Very friendly staff and although they boast free wi-fi on the site the internet was unavailable the night we stayed. Was going to stay for 2 or 3 nights but only stayed the 1. If you like nice quiet sites then this is for you.

Lovely welcome from the new site managers. Shown where everything was. Showers clean and worked well - only annoying thing was the ladies hand drier constantly cutting out but well equipped with hair drier and straighteners. We hadn't booked as they don't take single night bookings in peak periods but as we arrived early afternoon it wasn't a problem. Came via Drumbeg store so had picked up a few supplies there - windy single track approach roads but plenty of passing places. Sadly poured with rain for most of our short stay so didn't get to go to Old Man of Stoer which is a few miles north of here. Beach is pretty though quite small - only a couple of minutes walk away. There are a good number of mobile homes also on the site.

A gem of a site. Shane and Lisa who manage the site are really friendly and enthusiastic. Toilets and showers are good and clean. We didn't use the playground but saw many happy children around the site. The beach is accessed easily from the site. It is safe and clean. The views and sunsets were spectacular! There is little else within walking distance of the site apart from a small shop but it's a great place to relax.

This is a lovely little site, close to the beach with a great welcome! There are two areas, one seemed more for larger motorhomes/caravans, we were in the other field. We did not need electric, so could pitch 'anywhere in the middle' of the field, could lead to a slightly chaotic feel if the site was fuller. Well maintained facilities block, hairdryer and straighteners in the ladies plus a mirror in each toilet cubicle! Good dishwashing area, fairy liquid provided. Small shop just at the entrance, (not sure where the tardis like shop was, we never saw it). If you approach through Drumbeg, visit the village shop there - more like a high class delicatessen. Go climb the local cliff for sunset viewing!

They expect you to book online, fill in a booking form, and pay a deposit. Not easy or even possible given the standard of wifi if you are touring in the remote highlands. You cant book by phone either. So we were given a provisional booking by email. On arrival in heavy rain, we parked where the sign said, then got soaked on the 200m run to reception over the squelchy field. Despite being told no hookups were available, 2 hookups stayed empty during our whole 3 day stay. The camping field was chaotic, dogs running free although one of the many notices said they were to be kept under control. The facilities were clean, although I was mystified to have a mirror above the toilet. The wifi didn't work. A very tight corner to pull a large van into the camping field, this could be remedied by moving the gatepost a bit. We wouldn't go back even though it's a brilliant location
