Stayed for three nights in one of their Pods. An excellent site with great toilet facilities. Showers fantastic and always really clean. Site is tidy and clean too. The Pod was great and will certainly be going there again. I have camped on this site too with my son. My only slight grumble is that although the site asks for quiet they don't enforce this in any way, so the people next to me were up and about until 2 or 3 in the morning going in and out of their car, and other people also complained of noise into the night. Hence the 9 in the so re as I feel that staff could perhaps go round and check this.
That said I will be going here again because it is a wonderful site with great views and superb facilities.

This is an unusual site as half is taken up by permanent park homes then there are many statics and then static tourers. Add to that the camping pods which were full and it left little room for tourers. It is also a site where everyone seems to know each other and we felt a little like outsiders. There is a bar which serves food but the toilet block soon got very messy - lots of kids at half term. The views are fabulous as it sits right on top of a hill and it is therefore very windy. It is also close to Haworth which is a great place for a half day visit Don't think we would return

We stayed in one of the standard pods, my 11yr old and 8yr old sons, me and our dog Ted.
From the moment we arrived until the minute we left, we had a wonderful time.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful as we checked in.
The pod was spotlessly clean as was the excellent shower and toilet block.
Despite the inclement weather, my boys played on the children's playground until dark and had a wonderful time.
There is a beautiful heather moorland next to the site, which we spent several hours walking.
I can not recommend this site enough, we enjoyed the atmosphere and sense of freedom it gave us so much that I've one bought a tent and all the equipment necessary to enable us to have more lovely holidays.
Hoping for our virgin camping trip to be this weekend at Upwood camp site.

We have just returned from a fantastic weekend stay here. We stayed in the standard heated pods, they were lovely and warm and easily fit 4airbeds in and a small camping cupboard. It was our first time staying in a pod but with a one year old thought it may be worth a go rather than risk the cold in our tent if the weather turned. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again. The campsite itself is immaculate, beautifully kept with fantastic views. There is a nice park on site for children and a games room with a pool table. We ate in the club house one night, the food was reasonably priced with decent sized portions and most importantly delicious. The toilets / showers were large and although 50p you get enough time to wash your hair (whilst listening to the radio, a nice bonus). Although it was bank holiday and the site was nearly full there remained a lovely atmosphere. The pitches are well spaced and set out and I never once felt crowded. All staff on site were very helpful and pleasant. I am so glad we tried this site and will definitely be returning in the future.

This site is wonderful. This was our fourth visit in a year, and we were lucky to see the Tour de France this time. The views from the site are spectacular, the facilities faultless and the bar/restaurant friendly with excellent food. Haworth is a short (but steep) walk away, but a taxi back is £4 so not too expensive. We will certainly be returning.

Excellent site, well situated with very clean facilities and friendly helpful staff. A steep narrow lane for a mile or so, to approach the site but everything else was very good. Lots to see and do in the surrounding area. Close to bronte museum, Bradford national media museum. Panoramic views and walks from the site. Clubhouse on site open for meals and drinks Wednesdays and weekends.

Last minute decision to stay over during the bank holiday, we managed to get a cancellation due to the poor weather!
On arrival the reception was friendly and informative, easy ways to pay, cash or card.
The site is large and full, static vans and residential caravans fill 90% of the area which meant the odd tent pitch found in small corners of the site and on any 'spare' land.
The washing and toilet area's are kept very clean, showers are 50p for about 6 mins use. Entry to the toilet block is by key fob, obtainable from reception for a £10 refundable deposit.
The entertainment is brilliant, reasonable beer at a reasonable price, live music, karaoke or disco to complete the experience. Everyone is friendly and welcoming.
The site is a 30 minute walk from Howarth and the views are amazing. Plenty to do and see at this site, the prices are reasonable for what you get.
It is not a site that is first on my list as it is always busy so if it's peace and quiet you want then look elsewhere however, if you want the pace and vibrancy this site has then book early.

Just got back from this site this weekend, fantastic sums it up, great clean secure site, showers fantastic, Radio 2 playing whilst having a shower ( cant beat that ) clubhouse friendly with a good act on Saturday night. Park clean, looked after and staff polite and friendly. Dogs are allowed in the back room of the entertainment block which we liked, this of course meant we could enjoy the full facilities without having to lock the dogs in the caravan.
We don't have any children but saw a big child playing area so seems plenty for kids to do.
Would definitely recommend.

Really good site, the view is well worth the narrow windy uphill road to get there, pods really nice and warm.
Toilet shower block good clean and warm.
Good value for money for the 5 nights in the pod.
Nice walk down to howarth but at a nice even pace it is half an hour walk but if you don't fancy the uphill walk back up the local taxi firm will take you back up for £4. 00
Only negative and yet positive is its run by a couple and the lady was lovely nothing too much trouble but the mr is a little grumpy specially if you catch him first thing in the morning - obviously not a morning person.
But that in mind I would recommend this site very highly.
Thanks

On leaving York we were going to the lakes but changed our minds.
What an excellent find upwood park is. We were not too sure on the roads finding upwood park. We stayed for one night only (£12. 50) as we had plans for else where. Would have enjoyed longer. Excellent shower/toilet block which you could only use with a fob. Views fantastic. Cant say much more as we were not there long enough. Will certainly return if we are in the area again.
