Visited this site end of July, hadn't booked but they found room for us,
They were helpful and friendly,
Showers/toilets were immaculate, wasn't too sure about the 50p showers but it turned out you got plenty of time and they were lovely and hot and having the radio piped through made it so much nicer,
Would definitely return here, highly recommended,
54 pound for three nights for two people, you cant go wrong,

We have just spent a weekend at the site, we thought is was great, (2 adults, with 14 yr old and a 5yr old girls). It was our first caravanning trip having defected from camping.
We arrived at around 7pm on a Friday night, which was no problem, and we were not the last to arrive. Although reception was closed I was welcomed in the bar, and taken to reception to book in, and leave a £10 deposit for the toilet and shower.
The touring area is well laid out in to sections, with hard standing and grass, the pitch was a great size, separated by laural hedges, with beautiful views.
There is a small play area and a ball area, great for the kids, the play space is in a safe corner of the site and lots of children were riding their bikes around. There are many season pitches, but everybody was very charming, welcoming and helpful.
The facilities were immaculate, the showers are 50p, but you have adequate time for a shower ( if your washing long hair take take an extra coin, but I have short hair) they were lovely and warm. I did not see a family shower, and the main showers had fixed heads so it does prove difficult to clean small children, as they are slippery when wet!
We had a drink in the bar one night and people we spoke with had stayed for the entertainment, which they found funny if not a bit cheesey, but as expected in a caravan park.
On Sunday we took advantage of having Sunday lunch, huge portions, and really good, for the four of us with two drinks each and puds it was £50, but you would not need to eat till the next day. If you have kids share plates, when I say huge, I mean huge. Ordering lunch allowed us to stay on site till 5pm (there didn't seem a rush for us to leave)
The road in can be a bit hair raising, but it's manageable, it's all part of the adventure.
On the Saturday we purchased a steam train ticket for the day (£25 the little one was free) and spent the day hoping on and off, visiting Haworth and Keithley.
All in all we would definitely return, is it a nice place, with no hustle and bustle, clean and friendly.

We only live a few miles away from this site, but needed somewhere to pitch our new tent for the single initial night, and with enough space to allow us to pitch our old tent alongside for photos and cleaning. There's 6 of us (2 adults, 4 kids aged between 1 and 11), so we didn't want them to be bored either.
Haworth is beautiful, and the views offered from Upwood are some of the best I have seen. The site is in quite an isolated location, just far enough away from most of the busyness which can make Haworth quite chaotic in peak season, but close enough if you wanted to take a gentle stroll into the village.
It is very clean and well maintained, and the staff and other residents (some of whom were permanent) were always polite and friendly, which is nice as I was expecting it to be a bit more 'them and us' with us 'only' tenting it, and everybody else in statics or tourers (although there is plenty of space for more tents - it was just because we went during the week during term time).
There is literally only 1 word required to describe the toilet / shower facilities - immaculate! Heated, with radio piped in, loads of space, and incredibly clean meant at 4am when my wife had stolen all of our sleeping bag, I just went for a lovely shower to get / keep warm!
The shop stocks a good range of products at what I would describe as 'about what I expected' prices. The bar is clean, welcoming, and spacious, and although the machines in the kids games room aren't the most modern, they're fairly priced (50p or less for most arcade games, pool, table football, air hockey etc).
The pitches were fairly flat, and most offered shelter on at least 3 sides by hedgerown full of wildlife. Drainage is good, and the site set up is such that almost no matter where the kids went (within reason) they were within our sight and/or earshot.
Overall, the site is in keeping with the area and the usual type of tourists who visit (more mature, less 'chavvy'), and would offer a lovely base for anyone wishing to explore the beautiful local scenery. Teenagers might get bored if they're used to having entertainment handed to them on a plate, but for any kids with imagination, or anyone who simply enjoys being outside, this site would be great.

Just returned from a four night stay at Upwood Park. We were allocated a pitch in a small field beyond the static vans which was primarily used for seasonally sited caravans. Such was the slope that our ramps were inadequate and two layers of dry stone walling were required to level the motorhome.
Given conflicting reasons on arrival and departure as to why we were sited there but felt a little aggrieved as we had booked 2 months prior and found a motorhome which had arrived the same day without booking was sited on the spacious and level touring field.
That apart, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Toilet facilities first class and thoroughly cleaned. Although 50p required for shower, we never felt rushed. Good wash-up facilities with plenty of hot water. Well maintained rubbish and waste disposal areas with recycling point outside reception.
Small amount of noise from adjacent private airfield but any inconvenience was outweighed by interest. This is a generally quiet site with an older residential population. Plenty of bird life around.
Did not visit clubhouse (open only on Wednesdays and weekends).
We used this as a base for touring around the Yorks/Lancs border and particularly liked Hebden Bridge, Skipton and the lock flights on the Leeds/Liverpool canal at Bingley. Had a surprisingly good lunch at the Pioneer Tearooms in Bacup.
We will certainly use this site when next visiting the area.

Just returned from staying on this site in one of the pods. We normally camp with a tent, but have to say the pod is a great alternative when the weather is poor.
Shower and toilet facilities were great, faultless! The shower does cost 50p and does not last very long, however I'm only too happy to pay 50p or £1 for decent facilities.
Staff were polite and helpful, and the site well maintained.
Beautiful views from the campsite, close to Haworth for amenities. Hebden Bridge is well worth a visit.
Would definitely use this site again.

Just returned from a 2 night stay. We went away with a group of friends (8 adults and 6 children) and although the weather was pretty awful we still had a fantastic time!
The site comprises primarily of static and touring caravans. The tent area is located at the far end of the site opposite the regular camping pods and children's play area. The tent space is divided into 'zones' eg. B and C and we were pretty free to pitch wherever we liked within our allocated zone. Good level pitches which drained well in heavy rain. Easily accessible to EHU. Excellent location for us as the children in our group were aged 3 to 7 years and could play safely in the play area and still be within eye and ear shot from the tent.
The facilities on site are outstanding! You pay a £10 refundable deposit for a fob that allows you entry to the toilet and shower block, which is approx a 2 minute stroll from the tent. There are plenty of toilet cubicles, separate wash hand basin cubicles and several shower cubicles. Radio 2 plays into the area which was great! You pay 50p for a shower and make sure you bring plenty of 50p coins with you. My only niggle was the shower does not last that long and a couple of friends were caught out when showering children as the shower cut out and they were still covered in shampoo etc.
The on site pub is a real asset. The staff were friendly and welcoming and I did not feel that it was cliquey in the slightest. I would suggest booking in advance, but they had no problem accommodating 14 of us and arranged the tables so we could sit together. The children were made to feel welcome. We generally went in around 6pm - 8pm ish. The food is outstanding and great value (the £8 triple burger went down well with a few of the guys!) and the children's meals were great value too. There is a games area in a separate room with pool table, air hockey, a few arcade games etc which is great if you have older children.
The site was all quiet by 9. 30pm each night, but that said it was too cold to sit out! During our stay I did notice the staff pass by a couple of times to make sure everything was OK. I got the impression that they would clamp down on any rowdiness.
One of our friends stayed in one of the camping pods and they looked great (we were slightly envious when packing down our wet tent in the wind and rain on the last day!).
Although we generally prefer less structured sites with more tent / field space I would definitely recommend this site and would return again.

Nice clean showers, clean park and good play area. Most of the staff where friendly and welcoming.
Bit of a clique feel to the club house and even though kids were welcome we felt that they would have been more welcomed if they were over the age of 10. Showers cost 50p each time you used it and was just enough time to shower, but not wash my hair.
Would I return - no, as the approach is very narrow and lots of hills to drive the caravan round and not enough going on for my kids.
Ideal location for Haworth which is a lovely place to visit.
If your looking for a quiet time away then this is a good place to go.

What a great campsite, something or everyone! We stayed in a mega pod which was great fun. There is an excellent clubhouse, with entertainment and incredible food.
The whole site was clean, good toilet/shower facilities, even a little shop for essentials.
A fantastic family site, our 4yr old loved the playground and had the freedom to play safely in a friendly, welcoming environment.
We will definitely be returning, whether that be in our tourer or in the mega pods. Wholeheartedly recommended to all

Just back from an excellent long weekend at this site. Toilets are the best we have seen, heated, spotlessly clean, piped radio and best of all 'rain showers'. Really well kept site, good family feel, lots of good walks from the site. We did not try the club but heard good reports of it.
Private runway next door kept us entertained on Sunday afternoon with little private planes and Microlights landing. 1. 5 mile walk down to Haworth was good, the return being more challenging. Nice small park in the middle with a good play area. The walk to Oxenhope via public footpath was better and back via the reservoirs was really good.
Best value and most exciting was £1. 10p ride on the service bus from outside the site to Keighley, not the prettiest place but M and S and Debenhams if you want them. We were driven at speed into the fog on Saturday, better than the big dipper!
TOP TIP Follow the directions given as some of the lanes are not Caravan or Campervan friendly.

Back again. Again we stayed in 'Anne' Pod. Had a fantastic time. Site had just re-opened for this season. All facilities again were very clean and tidy. Staff (who remember us now) were again very friendly and helpful. Play areas (inside and out for children), live entertainment on Saturday nights. Again do recommend the food in the club house, very reasonably priced and delicious. Not too expensive to drink at the bar, (unlike some of the pubs in Haworth itself) with a good variety of drinks on offer. Best site we have been to, will be back again and recommend it to everyone.
