Fabulous, place. Fabulous for the children, safe and very welcoming. Clean toilets & shower block. Plenty of washing up areas, with a fridge and & freezer to use. Lovely play area for the children, with plenty of toys and climbing frame and a sand pit.
Just had our 3rd visit there and have booked again for august. Lovely people.

Looking for a place to stay near Skipton for a night out.
What a lovely site! Immaculate toilet facilities. Site well set out, loads of room for chasing balls (if we had remembered to bring one!), well manicured grass. Walks in the fields immediately beyond the site. River just next door.
The site is just a few minutes drive from the main road, but amazingly quiet. The surroundings fields seem to block out any road noise.
The site is very well situated for exploring the local area. Train is a few minutes walk away with great service to Skipton and onwards west or East to Leeds. The canal isn't far for leisurely walks into town. Didn't have time to explore Connonley this visit but there is a pub.
The owner is very very friendly and helpful. Just ring for assistance. Look out for the website!
We would definitely return.
Thank you
HTC
PS no children and didn't check out facilities for them so gave random mark based on rest of experience

We found this site to be perfect for our needs, the toilet/ showers were spotless, the pitches were nice and spacious and the grass was well kept throughout the site. The kiddies play area was well equipped for the younger children with lots of ride on toys. The owners were really friendly and helpful.
The location is perfect too with a nice short walk to the village or a longer one into lovely skipton.
The one thing that we think would be a good addition would be some play apparatus for the older child 9 / 13 yrs.
We will definitely be returning soon, loved it.

Fabulous meet at Riverside with some friends from oop North. Been here many times but never done a review. The toilet block has been updated and is clean and fresh. The grass was mowed so nice and spongey. Camp fires are allowed. Only 4 mins on the train to Skipton. Great stream in the village, perfect for duck racing.

I visited this site as part of a UKCS meet. I spent four nights here camped in my tent on the non EHU field. The field itself is large and spacious with great views all around. A handful of EHU pitches are available for those needing electric. The toilet block has just been painted so was nice and fresh on our arrival. There are two showers available to use for a small charge of 20p. There is a sandy play area with some play equipment and trikes for smaller children to use.
As previously mentioned, the site sits right next to a railway line. Trains passed fairly regular throughout the day and evening but this did not bother me. A short walk from the site brings you into the pretty village of Cononley. The train station is only a five minute walk from the site. We took the train daily into the market town of Skipton. Lots to see and do in the town itself. Back to Cononley, there are two pubs, a chip shop, Chinese takeaway and a post office. There is a lovely new looking play park for children also.
This is a great site to base yourself for a visit to the Yorkshire Dales. Having such a regular train service is also a bonus. I will no doubt be visiting this site again sometime in the near future and would definitely recommend it to others.

Just returned from 3 fab nights at this lovely campsite. On arrival we telephoned the owner, who offered us a choice of available pitches with hookup. We chose our pitch, and got on with setiing up, then the owner came down to say hello and make sure we were ok.
Facilities housed in a barn, mens, ladies, showers and pot washes in the same building, convenient. Clean, and well-stocked at all times (soap & loo roll). 2 loos, 2 sinks and a shower in the ladies, not sure about the mens, but another shower/wet room not in the toilet area. 50p for 5mins in the lades' shower, 20p for 2mins in the other. 4 pot wash sinks, all with running cold and hot water, plus a fridge and freezer for campers' use at no extra charge. The train line does run across he back of the site, and there are frequent trains, but we didn find them a nuisance at all, they certainly didn't 'shake the ground' as has been suggested. Small sandy play area for younger children- looked fine, but we didn't use it. Lots of open space for kicking a ball round/throwing a frisbee.
5 minute walk to the village, brilliant play park for the kids, 2 lovely pubs (both do food and show football) post office/shop, chinese and a train station. Trains every 15 mins, one stop in to Skipton which is lovely. Nice walk along the canal into the town centre. Castle is well worth a visit, very interesting.
All in all a lovely site with decent facilities and plenty to do close by. Will definitely be vsiting again :)

Large open field with large pitches which are mostly flat. Plenty room for the kids to run around. Play area for younger children. Adjacent field was being used for a Raleigh but this didn't overly strain the amenities. Also a third field for mixed units on entrance to the site.
Two toilets in ladies with one shower 50p for about 5mins. Also had a shower / wet room. Good washing up facilities housed in same building with plenty of hot water. A fridge and a freezer for campers to use free of charge. Stunning views and just a 5 minute walk to the train station. Just one stop to Skipton where there are plenty of shops and supermarkets. A village pub a few minutes walk from site which looked very popular. Will definitely be using this site again.

First visit to this site but believe me it will not be the last. As a member of the C&CC it was what I expected. The only criticism is that there was a rally in an adjoining field and the members of that club were using the limited facilities causing a queue. The location is brilliant, 2 dog friendly pubs within a few minutes walk plus a village shop/post office, there is even a takeaway. The trains did not bother us in the slightest, in fact it was great to have frequent and east access to Skipton and Leeds, gave the car and me a rest! Access with a large caravan could be tricky but this should not put you off visiting this site.

Just returned from a fantastic weekend at this site Last time was here was over twelve months ago. Nothing much has changed to be honest Pitches are quite big and flat on the fields with ehu. No problems with the electric No reception on site but a quick phone call to owner Alison will see her arrive within minutes to show you to your pitch. Sandy Play area on site with lots of outdoor toys is ok for the young ones although there is a brilliant park just over the road in the village Also in the village 2 minutes away are two good pubs one serving food, a post office and off licence selling good selection of essential stuff you might need. Also a chippy. Back on site we get round to the toilet and shower block which does let down the site immensely. Suppose is adequate for a weekend, kept clean by owners but still in desperate need of an upgrade Trains going past frequent but didn't bother us Great having the station across the road handy for trips into Skipton relieving the pressure of finding somewhere to park in this busy market town. Average prices for a campsite but let down by the facilities having said that will be returning if only for the location of the site and the wonderful picturesque views, oh yes not forgetting the campfires which you are allowed

Visited this site with our F. C. Great location for visiting Skipton as there is a regular train service which takes about 10 minutes into Skipton. Small site but in a lovely location in the Ribble valley with its walks and small market towns. There are several nice pubs in the village which serve food and real ales. We found the facilities which as previously mentioned by other reviewers quirky but kept clean by the owners. Site also has a play area for children but didn't have any use for it so can't comment but it looked OK in any event there is a children's play area just across the road in the village. Site owners are very friendly and helpful.
