Friendly and obliging owners and staff, this is a well kept site with nice views. There is a good washing up area under cover, and the toilets/showers are kept clean. WiFi is extra but really good value. Dog friendly with some good walks from the site. There is an shop on site, and the walk to Bala town is on the level. We had an enjoyable, relaxing holiday, and have already booked a return visit.

Just returned from our first visit to this site and we have already booked to return!

A well kept site - not too big, with very clean facilities.

A short walk into Bala - took us about 10 minutes with shops and pubs and plenty of places to eat and drink.

We also took a trip on the railway which ran at the side of the lake.

We were very fortunate with the weather and enjoyed sitting around on the site.

Very nice!

A lovely site. The people running it were friendly and kept a nice tidy site. Good showers and washing up facilities and nice generous pitches. Nice little shop and Bala and the lake are just a few minutes walk away.

The only warning is the midges - come prepared if the forecast is warm and still.

We would definitely return (but preferably outside the midge season).

We spent a weekend here recently - the weather was good but a bit windy. The site is very nice, not too big and the facilities are within easy reach of all pitches. The toilets and showers were always clean and never crowded. It's only a few minutes walk from the lake and the railway and about 15-20 minutes walk to Bala High Street where there are a good range of shops, eateries and pubs. Would definitely come again.

My only gripe - which appears to be common with many sites - is the extra charges for children (£4 per head, per night). This means that a couple with two children over 4 can expect to pay an extra £8 per night and if you are camping and factor in electricity again at £4 per night that's an extra £12 per night to be added to the basic cost of the pitch. There are no facilities for children (playground, etc) so the extra charge seems a bit steep.

Stayed here for 5 nights, and I must say what a lovely little site. Toilets and showers were not too far from any of the pitches, which was great as we did have some heavy rain. They were kept clean and well equipped. The shop was handy on site and the owners extremely helpful. Just a short walk away from Bala and its lake. Would definitely recommend this lovely little site.

Lovely, well kept site a short walk from Bala High Street. The caravan area is flat and spacious with level gravel pitches. Some pitches have water and drainage but water points, grey waste and toilet emptying point are only a short walk from any pitch. The facilities are very clean and well maintained with push button showers and individual private washing cubicles plus an excellent, fully equipped disabled/family wet room. There is also an undercover wash up area with a couple of sinks and drainers and hot water. The owners are friendly and welcoming without being in your face and there is a small well stocked shop in reception if you run out of something or need to make a simple caravan/tent repair. Bala has all of the amenities you need for a long stay. Several eateries and pubs plus a decent sized Coop for shopping plus plent of smaller shops. The butchers at the top of the village is superb.

Good site and ideal location for bala town and lake and railway if interested. Good site peaceful when we visited and good pitch size. Lovely walks up the hill side and along the river or lake into town. Showers were ok but you don't want to stay long in them

What a wonderful site and a great relief after a disappointing site the night before. The facilities were excellent with a good motorhome service point. It was well laid out with good sized pitches, well maintained and a friendly welcome. What more can you ask for. The walk into Bala town was a comfortable stroll, which is what we like from a campsite, close to amenities so we don't have to move the MH from site once pitched.

This was our second stay at this site and it didn't disappoint. A lovely sized site accommodating tourers, motor homes, camper vans and tents. Well maintained with good facilities, the shower block and toilets are very clean and the washing up facilities are conveniently placed. The small reception/shop stocks the essentials and take orders for the local but hers so that you can have your BBQ meat delivered to your pitch, how lovely! We love the location of this site, just a short, flat 10 minute walk into Bala town and even less to the lake. Good value for money and highly recommended.

Currently spending a night here, very good clean facilities, walking distance to Bala along the river or road, lovely wooden carvings around the site and mature surroundings, peaceful, friendly young girl on reception who explains everything you need to know. I think the site is ideal if you visit for the water sports but otherwise there isn't a lot to do.
