We stayed here last October, 3 nights, 2 adults and 2 children under 4. It is a lovely site. There is a big sandpit which we could see from our tent. The pub food was nice.
The toilets were always clean, showers were powerful and hot. The pitches were a good size. Although it was quiet that time of year, there seemed to be plenty of space.
My oldest loved the mini Bewilderwood park area. Would recommend.

This is an excellent site for a land based tour of the Norfolk Broads area. Although a large site it does not feel like it as it is split into different areas each with their own character and feel.
We were on the Heath area which was ideal for peace and quiet as there is no reason for anyone else not based there to drive into it. Handily situated for the toilets and shower and close to all the required facilities like chemical disposal, rubbish, waste water and drinking water etc.
The showers and toilets were kept very clean and showers were excellent with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Experienced some high winds whilst there and it is a little alarming to watch the huge trees swaying behind you but all was good.
Took advantage of the swimming pool and minigolf and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The site is popular with locals at weekends and whilst we had the Heath to ourselves most of the week it filled up at weekend, the beer festival seems very popular!
All the other site users seemed to respect their surroundings and their neighbours as behaviour and noise was no problem.
Loved this site and will definitely be back, although having wandered around and looked at the tents next time we will be camping rather than caravanning.

Visited various times over the last 14/16 years with very young family / growing to older kids / then teenagers and now on our own!
Always had fun with children (large football area and lots of fun in pool (boys (+8 other 'new friends') pulled dad in fully clothed many years ago!) and very pleasant site both with or without your family.
Lovely setting/friendly & helpful staff (had snow ball fight with our boys & then pulled our friends out after being stuck during very snowy easter few years ago!)
Everything you need on site and all kept well and clean. Always improving without spoiling it.
Lovely little pub and food is generally good with the normal expected pub grub.
Excellent addition of the all weather pitches and full services - this will ensure all year round touring! - good for tents as well (less mud!).
All in all - highly rated and a feeling of relaxing and well being comes over you when on this site.

Wow! What a great site. Loads of space, one of the largest pitches I've ever had and all set in beautiful woodland. The facilities are amazing, a really nice restaurant, coffee shop with wifi, crazy golf, tennis court and probably lots more that I've forgotten.
The customer service on arrival was very impressive especially as they were really busy. Once I booked in a site warden escorted me on a bike to show me the pitch and asked if I was happy, what a great idea. Loads for children as well, purpose built play areas and loads of open space.
Little bit disappointed with the local restaurants, didn't really find any where very special to eat. Best meal was probably on the site restaurant. If I lived closer this would be regular site for me but the 600mile round trip is a bit to far. You wont be disappointed if you visit this site.

I love Clippesby and so do all my family. We have been staying there at least once a year since 2006. The staff and owners are helpful and welcoming, the pitches are all flat and grassy, most with electrical hookups. There is no overcrowding and you have an allocated pitch which you are guided to by the staff on arrival.
The shop and cafe serve lovely homemade food such as pizza, croissants and cakes and there is a pub on-site which makes great pub-grub. Twice a week there is a children's disco, which is the highlight of my girls' holiday.
The grounds are picturesque, with a large playground, small outdoor pool, crazy golf course, table tennis and volley ball court. When it is warm Suzie, the owner, opens her icecream stall by the pool. There is also an archery area where lessons are provided twice a week.
My best memories of Clippesby are coming back after a day out to spend the afternoon with a glass of wine watching the kids play cricket and boules on the grass. The grounds are very well kept and as each tent leaves a member of staff arrives and mows the pitch.
The toilet / shower blocks are clean, modern and well thought out. The toilets have a basin in most cubicles so you can have a wash in private, there is always hot water available and the showers are adjustable and not on a timer. Because the standards are so high visitors are careful to keep them that way and most people take the time to mop the shower floor once they have finished.
The owners are keen to recycle and there are several places for rubbish disposal with a range of bins, which are all emptied each day. They even keep the broken camping equipment which has been left behind in a store, in case anyone needs a spare part for something.
Norfolk is lovely, with lots to do: beaches, boat trips, walks, national trust properties.
You can't go wrong here.

Have just got back from this site, stayed in the Old Orchard part of the site. Facilities are excellent, plenty for kids of all ages to do, particularly with the amusement machines at the pub ( take plenty of 50 & 20 p's). Shower and toilet facilities were modern and clean and seemed to be sufficient in number. Food at the pun very good and the various entertainment nights were worth going to. The outdoor pool wa a reasonable size ( sign on wall says max of 15 at anyone time) but we found it ok. Well worth going and we will certainly go back again in the future.

Had fantastic first visit of two weeks to this site. Staff very helpful on arrival and throughout our stay. Our two kids 4 and 8 enjoyed the zip wire, mini golf, bike trail and swimming pool. We didn't use the shower block but the site's facilities that we did use were excellent. There is a cafe near reception for coffee and the occasional treat in the form of bacon and egg rolls, lovely! During our stay we went to the pub within the grounds which had a good range of food and drink including some guest ales. There was also a kiddies party/hula competition/disco etc. On Tuesdays and Fridays which our kids thought was great fun. Great area for bicycling and access to the Broads. A good site, reflected in the fact that several of the other families we spoke to had returned having visited the site before.

We have just returned from a lovely visit to this site. We had a wonderful time and recommend to others. Ladies on the phone couldn't have been more helpful to get us in for the dates we wanted. On arrival a lovely friendly reception and shown to our pitch. All pitches are a good size, we were on the Pine Woods (dog free part), surrounded by trees. Kids are entertained all day long with woods to make dens, swimming pool (could do with being bigger and warmer - my boys froze!), play area with zip wire, tennis courts, table tennis, mini golf, BMX track, volley ball, and bike routes very close. The only parts I think could be improved on are the shower/toilet blocks - need more showers in ladies and especially in the gents as had none (2 ladies or gents at the endtrance of the block)! Lighting could do with being a little brighter as with low lighting and dark tiles on walls and floor it was hard to see! There are sinks for washing up but we didn't use as used our caravan. You can order fresh bread etc to collect the day which was lovely. Activities on every day ie quiz, archery, bingo, disco for little ones. This site does get very quickly booked up so don't hesitate to book up. We will certainly go back next year.

We were 2 hours early arriving and yet we were still welcomed very warmly and shown straight to our pitch by the land rover.
Right from the start, you see that the staff are very versatile, one minute they're emptying bins, the next they're serving in the coffee shop, showing talent. All staff were friendly and extremely helpful.
The pitches are a lot larger than what we're used to and so there was plenty of space for our tent, gazebo, car and trailer. The only criticism is that the pitches are not marked out and so short cuts through trees ended with people walking all through your pitch, but after a while you get used too it.
The toilet and shower blocks are amazing! You feel at home! Detachable shower heads make showering a whole lot more comfortable, and for families with small children, the bath is also very helpful. Many people may complain that the toilet blocks got dirty, but if it's muddy, it's what you expect! Once cleaned they were immaculate again!
The pub had well mannered staff and was in just the right location, parks were very well equipped and the coffee shop was of very high standard. I have too say that the shop was the main downside, it stocked many foods and drinks, mostly local which is good, but it barely stocked essentials, e. G. Bin bags.
I warn you now, there are peacocks, or should I say very loud peacocks, wondering around the campsite, but they're only a nuisance in the mornings. There is also a very friendly chicken that also wonders the park, but this makes no noise at all!
All in all a very welcoming site that I would recommend to everyone! Believe me, you'll enjoy it!

We stayed here in a tent for a week in August, 2 adults, 2 children. We had read the previous good reviews so expected it to be a nice campsite, but not as amazing as it was. We have been camping for a few years now, and this has to be the best campsite we have stayed in. We never go to the same place for our main holiday, but liked it so much we booked again for next year before we left.
We found all of the staff to be very friendly, welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They even drove round and jump started our car for us.
The actual campsite is really well laid out, and although it is a big site and was full, it had a nice calm and relaxed feel to it all the time.
The on-site pub, the Muskett Arms, is a lovely little country-style pub which serves delicious meals at reasonable prices. The pool was used frequently by my husband and two children, although a little chilly for me.
The shop offers basic food, and bakes it own bread everyday, which you can order and collect fresh for breakfast.
The children's play areas are really good, especially the one with the zip wires and treehouse and there are lots of wooded areas to explore. My son and husband had an archery lesson on site, which they enjoyed.
It is also in a good position to explore the Norfolk Broads and surrounding areas.
I would definitely recommend this campsite.
