A very nice site in a very good location. The facilities were excellent, very clean.
I called the day before to see what time we could get on the site and was advised that it was ok for us to arrive before 12 as the site was a little quieter.
There is a shop on site and ample of leaflets with local information.
On arrival we were told to choose a pitch and let the owners know where we had decided. It was nice and quiet as we went on the side opposite to where the playground was located.
The site is about a mile from the centre of Brecon where there are plenty of shops and a supermarket.
We went on a 20 mile bike ride along the canal, which you can access from just over the main road / roundabout.
There is a local pub a short walk from the site called the Three Horseshoes and the food was excellent. They do recommend booking.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this site and would definitely visit again.

This site has everything that you would expect from the Caravan Club. Spotless toilet blocks, beautifully maintained grounds and well informed staff. Who refreshingly didn't tell us which way we had to face, something that has in the past irked a bit on club sites.
Traffic was a bit noisy but the site is within easy reach of Brecon town centre and the canal, which provided a fantastic setting for a cycle ride.
I might well visit this site again. I definitely will visit the Brecon Beacons again and there are lots of sites to choose from.

Excellent site for location, friendliness, and amenities.
We took my mum away for 2 days and she was extremely impressed. There is a bus stop outside the front gates for those like my mum who is unable to walk very far this takes you right into brecon. There is quick access to the canal and cycle routes.
We had a super few days at this site and is definitely one of our favourites. So glad it is virtually on our doorstep

When arrived this site was perfect. Lovely friendly staff and a really clean and tidy site. We stayed in a fully serviced pitch which looked lovely. The only problems was the local pub/restaurant was closed and the only alternative was a pub called the three horse shoes about 1 1/2 miles away down through the dog walking path. The path was covered in dog mess and the pub was not that good! The site is situated with gorgeous views but right next to a bypass that you cant see which is fine until the weather is good and all the bikes use it as a race track.

Just spent two nights on site and considering the amount of rain we have had the site seemed to be holding up well, plenty of hard standings on site some of which are fully serviced.
Very friendly wardens. The site has stunning views of the Brecon Becons and although next to a busy road we didn't notice any noise. Well stocked shop that has a little of everything. Recycling on site. Excellent shower and toilet facilities.
Brecon is about a mile away along canal towpath flat easy walking. Good bus service which stops right outside site.
Lots to do in and around brecon, walking, canoeing and canal boats are easily available. Good flat routes for cyclists linked to national cycle routes.
We had a stunning meal in the Three Horse Shoes about 10 mins walk away from site.
Ample dog walk.
Adventure playground was roped off but there seemed to be plenty for kids to do.
Would recommend

A well groomed site with the picturesque Brecon Beacons as a dramatic backdrop.
The Caravan Club have only recently taken over the running of this site so it does not look like a club site. The facilities are however spot less and the two amenity blocks coped admirably with a full site over the BH weekend.
The site boasts an excellent dog walk.
The site is close to both the A40 and A470 so expect a bit of background road noise, nothing too obtrusive. Light pollution is at a minimum so the night skies can be spectacular.
The site has a mini market that sells just about everything, a bit expensive, but so are most site shops. Brecon town centre is just over a mile away with a Morissons and a host of other shops.
First visit here but think it will be one of our regular sites.

Stayed at Brynich second week of Easter for 3 nights. Pitch was with electric hook up, even though serviced pitches were available and our spot in particular was an excellent size, plenty of room for awning. There were two toilet blocks on site that were clean and the showers hot. Especially liked the fact that when one toilet block was shut for cleaning, the other was kept open and vice versa. The shop had lots of variety, but did shut between 12 and 3pm. The walk into Brecon along the canal tow path was excellent and took us including an 8 & 11 year old approximately 30 minutes and we saw some ducklings on the way, but as mentioned previously you do have to cross a dual carriageway, but not a major problem. The Three Horseshoes pub was a pleasant 10 minute walk from the site, family and dog friendly with their resident dog enjoying the surroundings. The food was excellent, if a little pricey, but the service was superb and you may need to book in advance. The kids enjoyed the Play Barn attached to the site and there was plenty of room for them to play, but unfortunately the adventure playground was out of bounds and roped off. Also The Barn restaurant is now only open for functions. Overall really enjoyed our stay, it was relaxing with fantastic scenery. Will definitely go back.

Great site especially for families . Loads of kids between about 4 & 11 (inc ours ) all playing happily together over Easter bank holiday. The site even put on an egg hunt on the Sunday and basically every kid ended up with an Easter egg which I thought was a nice touch. Very dog friendly with excellent dog walk. Toilet block was fine with very roomy showers. Well stocked shop on site and very helpful people on reception. The sun was shining which made the stunning views of the beacons even better than usual, took a stroll into brecon via both the canal and the river usk, brecon being a very nice market town. Our pitch on the site was enormous could have got 3 motorhomes on it! Local pub was a 10 min stroll down a quiet lane backing onto the site. Word of warning though the public footpath in the lane that goes across a field towards the canal does end up in someones front drive! Only slight complaint of site is that it is next to quite busy road which to be fair was not that bad and did nt affect our sleep. Overall would definitely recommend

Very tidy campsite, friendly owners. Well situated for walking and cycling. We have visited this site on several occasions and always had a good time. Toilets and showers adequate and clean, on site shop and restaurant very useful. Friends have also stayed at this site following our recommendation, and never had any negative feedback. Will be interesting to see the site develops now it is a caravan club site.

We had a grass pitch at this site, number 43b, after all the rain we had at the beginning of September the ground was very muddy and slippery, site cannot be blamed for the weather.
Site is very clean and tidy, showers and toilets are 10/10 cleaned regularly and there is plenty of hot water. Shop on site which is well stocked albeit a little pricey. Small children's play area there is an adventure playground but this was closed during our stay. There is an indoor play area just at the entrance of the site called the Barn which is ok to entertain youngsters if it is raining.
There is a local pub which is about a 15 minute walk from the site through the wooded area past the adventure playground just follow the signposts.
On the downside there are no speed bumps on the roads around the site, there are 5mph signs, but there were many people on site who seemed to ignore these and were travelling much too fast around the site which could lead to serious injury.
All in a lovely site in a lovely place will definitely return.
