This was our second visit to this site. We love this place its a real beauty spot and central to so much. The site itself is fab. The showers and toilets are spotless. Staff are really friendly and helpful. The site is looked after with loving care. There are some good places to eat out in Bellingham and surrounding areas. Keilder water is a short distance about 8 miles and is out of this world outstanding beauty. There is so many places to visit we are planning our trip for next year. We shall be looking forward to returning to this site as they make us feel very welcome.

This was our second venture with our van in our first season. We stayed for 5 nights as members of the friendly club. Value for money was good with the facilities setting a benchmark for the season to come. Great showers and laundry with small shop on -site. 15 minute walk into Bellingham along roadside.
Kielder Water short drive away. The recommended Kielder Meats was a disappointment. One real problem for us was that the mobile phone and tv reception was very poor but not the fault of the site, just the area.
The wardens were very helpful, showing you to your pitch, even as people arrived after dark, giving good reversing advice to new 'vanners as ourselves. We would use this site again, but only as a stop-over venturing farther south.

We stopped at Bellingham for four nights in a camping pod. The location was all we expected mainly for good walking. The pods are centralized so you could hear the traffic at all times on the gravel road. All the amenities were close at hand and clean.
The owners did over and above to make you welcome. Bellingham the village had a Co-op store which was easy to find and was about a fifteen minute walk. There is also a petrol station in Bellingham and a local pub that did decent size main meals for about seven pounds.
The one drawback was that we were in pod three which meant we were close to the children's play area. Nothing wrong with that except when they played football and no parent was there to supervise them. The ball came over the dividing fence several times and once clattered into my cooker stand barely missing me. It was lucky I was not cooking at the time. Access to Hadrians Wall, Hexham and other local towns was good with a 24 hour Tesco in Hexham.

My wife and I spent a full week at Bellingham and had a fantastic time, the site is in a beautiful setting with excellent walking and cycling straight from the site. The toilets and showers very well maintained and the reception service is brilliant. The site is meticulously looked after. We thoroughly recommend the site to anyone wanting a lovely tranquil and friendly break. The town of Bellingham is a short stroll away with plenty of pubs and an interesting museum. Keilder Water is close by, we cycled there, and well worth a visit especially the observatory but plan well ahead for that as it is only staffed on certain dates and we just missed it but the stars were still amazing, including 2 shooting stars.

We enjoyed our stay at this campsite for several reasons. The friendliness and care of the staff, the tidy and well-maintained site, the noticeable and regular attention given to cleanliness of toilet block and other areas, and its close proximity to Bellingham, Kielder and Hexham.
Our children enjoyed the playground but it is not the sort of site that would occupy their interest all day long hence the attraction of nearby places.
A slightly further trip to Alnwick, Bamburgh and other coastal locations is time well spent, especially as it affords opportunity to take in the lovely scenery and beautiful landscapes of Northumberland!

Visited this site over the bank holiday weekend and, because of the Bellingham Show (which we did not know was on until we arrived!), it was very busy. Not a bad site but did not quite meet the usual high Club standards.
Firstly, for a club site, the pitches were small and the site seem to have a policy of filling any gaps with tents, making the place feel very crowded. Secondly, the large number of tents placed extra demand on the toilet facilities. These were spotless but quite inadequate for the number of visitors. Matters weren't helped by the site management's policy of closing both ladies and gents between 10:30 and 12:15 for cleaning! This left just one hopelessly inadequate disabled toilet.
There was a shop on site but it didn't seem to have much in stock but the village of Bellingham is a 5 minute drive away and has a well-stocked Co-op so that was not much of an issue. The site is well placed for visiting Kielder Forest and Water and there are plenty of walks locally.
Overall, not a bad site and I would visit again but only in the low season when, hopefully, it wouldn't be as busy.

Just returned from a fantastic two weeks on this lovely site. Campsite immaculate, staff very friendly, gravel not noisy, road not noisy.
Toilets and showers immaculate at all times, others should appreciate the need for preserving water and the standards the sites have to adhere to. Serviced by fantastic local shops in Bellingham especially Hugh Thompson butchers, the fruit and veg shop in the Gallery, the co-op, bakery, and hardware shop.
Ideally situated for walkers, bikers and lovers of good food and real ale ( don't miss out on the Holly Bush inn at Greenhaugh). We will be back.

This has the potential to be a really good site. Toilets are to the usual high Caravan and Camping club standard, the location is very handy for Kielder and surrounding area, the shop on site is pretty well stocked and Bellingham village with its facilities is a 15 minute walk.
However. There is a very busy road next to the site and if you are unlucky enough to be near that it can be very loud.
The hard standing pitch we were on had to be the hardest I've ever had to put pegs into - and I use rock pegs
As has been said elsewhere, the gravel path running through the site is extremely noisy at quiet times of night or day and it passed within inches of our pitch.
Pitches for caravans are too small to fit a van, porch awning and car. We were asked not to put our car on the grass alongside the pitch, but to park it along the front of the van. Tent pitches seem not to have this restriction
All in all, I probably won't use this site again even though it has some good things going for it.

Lovely site in a great location. Facilities spotless at all times.
Shop has limited opening but the village co-op is only two minutes away.
As the site is quite small there is limited space for children to play but it didn't present any problems as there is so much to do in the local area - it might be an issue for those that sit by their unit all day.
Recommend organic farm for sausages, bacon and burgers.

This really is the friendliest site we've been to, the staff are very friendly and helpful. My partner was refereed to as the last England supporter (we had just lost out the world cup
The toilets and other facilities were spotless all the time, yes the site is close to the road but we did not this
A problem as their is not much traffic at night
The village of Bellingham itself is a nice and is only about 20 mins walk away.
Not far away are Kielder Water and forest, and Hadrians Wall
