This is not the first time and wont be the last time I visit bank farm! I find this place friendly clean and has outstanding views from field 3.

The shop I found very reasonable also very friendly and helpful.

The toilet blocks were always clean, always hot water and everything you need when camping.

Washing-up area was the only let down didn't find it very clean and wasn't really usable or practical if they spend money in this area I think it would be money well spent as this was the only let down.

Playarea was really good my kids really enjoyed I suppose there's always room for improvement but I wouldn't say it was a concern.

Pub and other attraction were very good and reasonable.

Pool was excellent but could do with more seating area.

Electric hook up was great £2 I found very reasonable.

All in all I love this site found it very reasonable find high session a bit pricey but very enjoyable and relaxing.

The views are the best to be found - especially in field 3 - and the surrounding countryside absolutely breathtaking but what lets this site down is really just the 'tweaking' around the edges to get it into that gold standard that us Caravan Club members are certainly used too! Aside from the facilities which need some form of 'control' - either by key or code - to stop the kids getting in there and throwing loo roll everywhere etc - there are some basic clearing up duties required around the main 'club' house and also perhaps some 'moving on' of groups of mid aged teenagers that seem to hang around en masse outside the restaurant/take away area. I can't complain too much I love the location and will be back - which is of course why the site possibly isn't going that extra mile to get these little issues resolved!

Good points, evening bar food, 12 noon to leave pitch.

Check in ok when I found bell. Waited a short while to be showed to pitch and then had to wait again for a caravan to be removed as someone had not turned up - we were put in with the caravans. Toilet block could do with a good clean, mens showers hot, ladies ok. Have to pump toilets to flush, lights still sensored to go out and no heater so can be cold.

Outside dishwash area could do with sinks being cleaned.

I don't think there is one smooth area of tarmac so I would not recommend this site for wheelchair users.

Dog fouling outside the cafe and also dog muck on site. A few well placed notices would help with this also bins.

Would not recommend breakfast with the dipped fried brown bread in oil!

Play area ok, Shop I found expensive £1.70 a litre of milk. Pool cold so the boys told me

Area: Scenery is beautiful, beaches beautiful. No cash point till Texaco,Club offers cash. Nearest town was a double back to Swansea. No O2 signal.

Plenty to do in the area if you have the cash, all car parks pay and display. Good chippys come cafes in Port Eynon. Rossili beack worth a look but beware of the trek back uphill. Hertitage centre good for kids. Not a lot for teenagers here but ok for little kids who like to play in sand all day. If I went again I would go to shops in Swansea town on way there.

Well after reading the reviews we didn't know what to expect/ It was a fab site, the facilities were clean and tidy, the toilet block and showers, we could not fault. Lovely people who own the site who could not do enough for you, and were most helpful. We had great times at the club house with a great singer on the Saturday night, lovely people also in the shop. Myself and hubby were in a touring caravan, and my 2 daughters and their hubbys and their children were in 2 trailer tents. Wwe were all in field 3 with the best out look over the sea you can get any where, YES we are all going to go back

I've Stayed at this site on numerous occasions throughout the year due to its location and convenience to my home.

The location of this site would put it probably in the UKs top ten if they tweaked what they have got. The toilets are cleaned throughout the day, but not with gusto. The fully tiled walls and floors can easily be washed down with a power washer or even a hose pipe, but it is just quickly cleaned and onto the next chore, REMEMBER wet isn't necessarily clean

The staff are very approachable and polite, the beach down the hill is fantastic, ideal for surfing, fishing, kayaking and lazing about, but don't forget the car as the hill is very steep, the walks across to the neighbouring campsites and villages are great. The ship tavern located on the coastal path is great for a refresher, going or coming back to the site.

Over all I would recommend the site to anyone, be aware that if following a sat nav, give the site a ring to ask for directions, as you will be directed through some winding country lanes by the sat nav units.

Stayed for a week at this site, beautiful pitch facing the sea by the wall, was worth the extra. Had severe weather which tore down many awnings and had to go out and buy wet weather gear so the kids could play outside, they had a ball in the mud! The kids park is great and also the swimming pool, it's like a sauna in there tho. The toilet/shower block needs modernising, the ceilings are so high is it cold when the shower stops, the water was not has hot as I would have liked it considering how cold it was outside. I would visit again though as was reasonably priced.

Just returned from a week at bank farm. The weather was terrible for 5 out of the 7 days. On arrival we were shown to our pitch. The mud was so thick the kind man towed us up the field with a tractor! He was really helpful and explained that we could pretty much choose our own pitch because ground conditions were bad. I would advise anyone visiting to use plenty of storm equipment because it got very very windy at night. We have always gone to campsites that have no facilities except for toilets and showers. The facilities of this camp were fab. The kids loved the pool, I wasnt brave enough to enter it (very cold). The pub/restaurant was great and the food both day and night was delicious and very reasonable. The games room was also great for the kids with a little soft play area for little ones. The machines and pool tables were also very reasonable. The big park we didnt use because there were always teenagers in there and they were very rough. There is a toddlers play area outside in a sand pit that my kids loved. The shop sells everything you can think of and we used the laundrette. That was a real god send because everything got covered in mud. Now for the downside. I think the toilet/showerblock could have been cleaned more often than they were. The weather didnt help because there was always mud and grass on the floor. I think there were also a lot people there that didnt help by leaving dirty tissues on the floor in the showers or not flushing toilets after themselves. The changing room by the pool was exactly the same, the floor was dirty all day long. In such a large campsite I think there should be cleaning items available so that when you go for a shower there is a mop and bucket available so that you got option of cleaning yourself, even an empty bucket so you could swill other peoples hair away before entering the shower would have done the job. I ketp my flip flops on at all times and would advise this to anyone like me that has a phobia with dirty shower floors to do the same. The only other thing I would like to say is that there is only one shower/toilet block on site. We were situated right at the top of the camp so there was a good 5 minute walk to the toilet. It would be a much better site if there were more toilet/shower blocks available to each field.

I would definitely consider visiting this camp again. The children loved it, the views were breath taking and having the option of the pub for food was a nice change.

First visit to this campsite. We were shown to our pitch field 5 by a courteous and helpful gentleman who explained where all the amenities were situated within the site. The reception staff were very helpful. The toilet and shower block were clean which must have been some feat to undertake with the extreme wet muddy and windy weather we experienced. The shop and laundry opened early which enabled us to undertake much needed laundry (again due to the wet weather and 3 year old)without it interfering in our family exploration time. The cafe and bar were reasonably priced and food quite good and freshly cooked. The swimming pool area basic but clean and always manned by life guard one niggle the water was very cold which put our three year old daughter off swimming for long. The walk to the beach was worth every step we all enjoyed the open fresh air the dog included. The scenery fantastic the outdoor play area great but muddy no fault of the site but the weather. The local people and shop owners very pleasant and welcoming. All in all a good site to recommend and we would return.

Well just back from a week at this site. The weather was against us some of the time but we aren't the type of people to let that stop us. The tenting fields are on a slight slope which proved really useful as they meant that the rain drained off and dried out really quickly. The facilities were basic but clean and well looked after - it is the fault of some of the campers rather than the site that they get grimy at times. When this happens the staff cleaned things up and were very approachable and friendly.

If you stay here it is worth taking the drive along to Port Eynon to sample the fish meals in the Seafarer and there is a beach shop there which sells the things you need for a beach holiday with a family.

Have just returned from a very enjoyable weekend at Bank Farm. We were two friends with 5 kids between 9-13, in a tent with EHU & 2 cars. We were placed in field 3 - good views.

Unfortunately it was very windy when we arrived & it was a nightmare to put the tent up - the wind broke two poles & then it rained & we felt like we wanted to go home - until the next day. The weather was beautiful - the facilities good & a camping shop about 10 miles away fixed our poles.

The site is clean & well run - the pitches are well marked out & much bigger than I imagined. The views from the campsite are fantastic!

The toilet/shower block was ok - water wasn't very warm, cubicles not very clean (although they were cleaned several times by the staff).

The swimming pool was cold but the kids enjoyed it! The on-site bar & chip shop were very reasonable; the site shop slightly expensive - but you normally pay for convenience. The kids loved the novel basket swing in the play area.

I had read a previous review & so we took the car to the beach - well worth the £2 parking, as the road down to the beach is very steep & narrow.

We will definitely be re-visiting the site.
