Rang in the morning to enquire if a pitch with ehu was available receptionist was polite and welcoming. We arrived early afternoon (just one warning the campsite web page highlights the necessity of staying on the A4118 and we would highly recommend you do, some of the roads on the Gower are really narrow).
The welcome was great and we were shown to our pitch which had an amazing view one of the best we have seen. There was plenty of room for the children to play and a play park by reception.
Food and drinks in the bar are relatively cheap as is the shop. The pool is warm and has a retractable roof. Showers were fairly clean. We were there in June the day after the heaviest rain in Wales for years. Other sites were washed out but the ground was fairly dry. No mud.
The staff were great, helpful and polite. I would certainly recommend the site.
My one reservation was that the site was quiet when we were there but it is huge and the facilities may be a little small. But we will certainly go again.

We did not like anything much about Bank Farm. It was very dirty, you could hardly see the bottom of the pool. When we arrived, the staff were surly and uncommunicative. We did not enjoy any of the food, and we did not think it was a professional boundary to have staff propping up the bar, especially as the bar staff chatted to them, and prioritised them when serving.
The shop was mostly useful, but I was charged £7.50 for an electrical extension which I know would have cost me £2 in ASDA. What was really awful was the fact that in spite of having money in my bank account I was told off two machines that the bank had declined my card. The staff member mumbled something about the phone line. We walked two miles to a non existent ATM until two locals driving, took pity on us and drove us to a nearby shop where we got money from their ATM with no trouble.
The Wifi is also non existent, even in the bar my Android simply failed to pick up any wifi service for more than about 30 seconds.
We weren't very happy about the amount of dogs on the site, actually, we would not have visited Bank had we known there were dogs. A lot of the people also visiting were badly behaved, a couple next to us rowed for the whole time we were there, and people in the common areas like the bar and cafe were loud, pushy and ill mannered. Maybe you are attracting a 'chavvy' type of person there because the site is too cheap? This is all very well but we noticed non 'chavvy' people did not eat in the pub or drink there.
The small toilet near the cafe was dirty and the floor was wet and slippery.
It might have been helpful to mention in marketing material that the beach is accessible via a steep slope, we are older people and although not disabled, struggled to get back up the slope.
We won't be returning or recommending Bank Farm, our visit was not relaxing, but stressful and disappointing.

Havn't been in pub yet, too busying outside with very hot weather, beach is so lovely. Only few mile away.
Went to swimming pool, there is small shallow pool for baby and other pool for older. We love it. We mess around jump in water and dive lots. There is guard to watch. Pool is clean and lovely cold water in hot weather.

On the plus side this site is in a fantastic location. The surrounding area of gower is beautiful and this site looks over onto Port Eynon bay which is a lovely spot.
Friendly staff and a great pitch with views right across the bay. On the negative, however, there were lots of groups of families who were there to party. Car boots open with stereos blaring, lying around drinking all afternoon - evening - night. Loud, bad language. So relieved we were in a motorhome and not a tent as don't think we would have had a wink of sleep otherwise.
You can walk from the site down a twisting path/lane to the beach but this seems to be used as a rubbish dump by the site owners.
As we left on the Sunday we drove across the site over a small pile of empty beer cans - this summed up the site for me.

This is the third time we've stayed at Bank Farm as it is only around 25 miles from home and great for a short notice stay. we booked a hard standing pitch with a sea view and got exactly as described, the hard standing area of the pitch is a little on the small side (especially if you have a large unit) but there is plenty of well maintained grass for an awning.
The EHU points are a fair distance from the pitches that we were on and require a long 'Hook Up' lead if we were on the furthest of the three pitches in the field we would have needed a 30m lead! as the site was quiet we picked the centre pitch to be closer to the EHU point.
The clubhouse is nicely appointed with fantastic views from the front and the drinks are quite reasonably priced although the food and ice-cream was on the expensive side.
This site can get very busy at peak times so if you're after a quiet site this isn't really the place, but it's great for the kids as it has a play area, swimming pool and is not too far from the beach.
The toilets and showers are adequate but they can get quite dirty with the large usage in the peak times. There are also a lot of seasonally pitched vans on this site but these have fields of their own. When we visited last summer there were some noisy groups on our field but the site security soon arrived to sort the problem out. This is a nice family site with a great location so well worth a visit.

Booked for 20Th August for 2 nights, when we arrived we were taken to field 6 where there were already a few camps set up. The field was on a bit of a slope but could still set up tables and chairs OK.
The weather was great and the children 7 & 12 was always playing on the site park and in the club house.
As the weather was so good we arranged to have a BBQ so went down the site shop where we found everything we need needed even the utensils! The shop was very reasonably priced so would not take as much with us next time because of this.
The facilities have 4 showers in the men's and 8 in the women's, and a washing area to do the dishes outside. The showers were Luke warm at peak times but early and late in night were warmer. These were kept fairly clean surprising the size of the site.
We arranged to stay an extra day where we went to the site pool which was packed, clean with a bit of dirt on the surrounding footpath which could of been cleaned to make it more appealing.
We then went for food in the clubhouse which was very nice and well priced as well as the drinks, We also went here the following day to have dinner before we returned home.
On the way home my family wanted to turn back they were sad leaving the place so will defo return. Mind you this was only our 2nd camping trip ever.

We visited twice, once at the beginning of August 2011 and again at the end of August. The first time we were on a field near to the club house. It had a bit of a slope but was no problem. There was plenty of room for pitches, room for the kids to play around the tents and it was peaceful at night.
The toilet / showers were close by and perfectly ok for a camp site. There is a shop next to the club house which is reasonably priced and a swimming pool. The pool can get busy but that is to be expected in the summer! The beach was a fair walk down the cliffs but worth it and there is a large car park there if you couldn’t face walking.
The second time we stayed at the end of August it was bank holiday and very full. We were put in one of the top fields and it was a different experience altogether. We were a long way from the toilets and even further form the club house / shop. There was a large group behind us who were shouting and swearing until 2am, about 10ft from our tent. I spoke to reception the next day and they said they would ‘monitor’ the group the next night. The next night the kids from the large group went around pulling out tent pegs from random pitches, ours included. This resulted in us and a family opposite having a shouting match with them at midnight. Really unpleasant and has put me off going back. Security turned up eventually, after we rang them.
The club house was also full the second time. There was football on the TV and wasn’t at all child friendly. The soft play was full of older kids fighting and the bar full of adults swearing.
A bit of a contrast with two visits…

Just returned from a weekend at this site. Friendly welcome, which included an escort to the pitch by following a golf cart.
The site was fully booked so we were on field 12! Busy but as the site is so large you couldn't notice. Also nice and quiet at night as the sound hardly travelled.
Being in field 12 we had a five minute walk to the facilities. They could do with another toilet block! Loos were nice and clean, as were the showers and washing up area.
Lots of hot water for the latter, but showers became cold after 5pm. The kids in our party loved the pool and play area. It kept them occupied for hours.
Good on site clubhouse with good reasonably priced food. Shop was well stocked and was reasonably priced. Opening hours were displayed clearly (unlike many others).
Bit of a trek to the beach - better take the car, made up for by the site itself.
Pitches were also excellent with no stones.

It was our first time camping and this site was close to home and had all the facilities we were looking for. In whole it was a great experience and we had a good few days. The views were great and the pitch was large.
The beach was a short walk downhill but uphill all the way back to the site which can get you a bit hot and sweaty. The kids could find it hard. The Reception area was under renovation but you could see that it will be fabulous when finished.
The on site shop was very cluttered but seemed to have everything that you may need. The launderette was clean and tidy but at £2. 50 a wash then 20p for 5 mins in the dryer it could end up costing a bit to clean your clothes.
The showers and toilets were satisfactory they could have been a bit cleaner and they could really do with updating but they were usable and there was plenty of hot water, (just beware your clothes and towel could get wet even if you hang them on the door).
The food in the clubhouse was a reasonable price and in the cafe it was about average but I have to say that be careful when ordering steaks ours was very undercooked. One more thing on the food I would personally avoid the prawns on garlic bread with cheese, it must be an acquired taste it was very odd to say the least.
The pool area was reasonable, but the pool was only just heated, there is not much space in the changing area and the shower was freezing but you could use the pool even when raining due to a pull over cover that kept the rain off you.
Overall I would go to this site again and stay a weekend but I think that would be it as it does seem more of a local haunt than a visitor campsite.

It was Monday 31 may at 4 pm that we thought about going away for a few days so I surfed the web and I came across this site ( kcampsite.Co Uk ) and then Bank Farm so I phoned them to see if they had any room with elec hook up. They said no electric at that time but did have room for us to stay for a few days so I said we would be there at 1 pm on 1st of June ( ie the next day ) We turned up to a man at the reception with a nice smile and a happy to help attitude and we asked if there was any cancellations with hook up. No was the reply but he did in fact find a pitch with hook up and showed us to our pitch. We went to the bar as soon as we had set up camp to find the prices of drink food was great. The club house was great and the staff so helpful. The on site shop is stocked with all the things you need and more - I had to fix my cooker as the pipe was cut and they had it in the shop. Very good prices ie 4 pints of milk 99 pence 6 eggs £1.10. Toilets and shower room are clean and tidy. The whole site was very very good and their in the middle of making a new reception and laundry. We will be going back, thank you to the owners and staff for a very enjoyable stay.
