Although I am sure this site appeals to some people it did not appeal to me.
We paid a high price for a camping pitch without any electricity. We were greeted by functional (not friendly) staff who led us to our pitch. The staff member gestured towards a gap in the field right next to another family and continued to pitch people randomly very close to each other as people came and went through the week (despite there being plenty of free space elsewhere on the field).
The pictures on their own website are not of their own pool which we found to be tiny, cold and dirty. I did not shower there - I didn't fancy it given the toilets were half blocked up and again, not the cleanest.
We were forced into the coffee lounge by the weather and true to form it there was mess everywhere from young people throwing chips etc, a staff member noticed it and sat amongst it to eat his own chips rather than tidying it up.
The shop staff however were friendly and helpful.
We didn't drink in the bar - it looked a bit grotty so we sought out a local pub which was lovely.
The local beach is lovely and the views are amazing but I would choose another site in the area in the future.

Stayed here at the start of the high season when the kids are off. We were in field 3 which is next to the toilet/shower block.
We were shown to our pitch and the electric hookup was explained clearly. Our pitch was slightly in the centre and the field was pretty slopped. The best pitches are those at the top of the field which are flat and have electric hookup so get one of those if you can!
There were plenty of drinking water taps in the field.
The site was well kept, grass cut short which no left over grass cuttings. There was a shower block which seemed fairly new. This was kept pretty clean, although strangely the mirrors need replacing as you can't really see yourself in them even when cleaned. There is no separate room to change and no lockers, you basically change in the shower cubicle itself which isn't ideal, but is ok.
The water was also nice and hot, which is also the case for the outdoor sinks. There is plenty of showers and toilets and there was always paper when needed.
The indoor pool is a nice feature, and I would have no issues using it again. However, the changing room is very small and dated and the pool area could do with a good clean. Weeds growing out the surrounded pavement and algae on the windows, but don't let that put you off, just hopefully the owners will rectify.
The cafe and bar and really nice. Love the ice cream selection and the attached conservatory. Nice comfy seats! The bar staff really friendly and helpful! Good atmosphere and Nice food too. Good outdoor area.
Good on site shop with friendly staff.
Unfortunately some of the reception staff were not very friendly. On check out no one asked if we enjoyed our stay etc. All the customer service basics. That was a real shame as the rest of the stay was very enjoyable and I will hopefully be back in the future!
The view from field 3 is absolutely stunning, as you can see Port Eynon beach.
There was a fair bit of noise on site until about 01:30am and it seemed that people are allowed to shout etc as loud as they like. This wasn't particular a problem for me though as I took ear plugs! :)
I would definitely recommend this site though, especially if you have a group of friends/families, children as you can have plenty of fun.

We booked this site to meet friends who had a tent but they cancelled because heavy rains were forecast. The site itself was in a good position and good views. It had a clubhouse and said it was dog friendly. I was surprised therefore that a)cost per night was £26 plus electricity (you needed to pay £5 deposit for a card and were refunded whatever was left at the end of your stay. They also charged £1 a day for dogs. I was disappointed when I was told my dog was not welcome in the bar, but because of the weather (really poured) we could sit in the conservatory area. (otherwise known as the kids chip shop). My husband was so annoyed he asked at the bar if my dog was more trouble than the kids running around screaming and dropping rubbish everywhere to be told probably not. I do not object to paying for my dog, despite the fact I feed him, walk him and clear up after him especially as the site was not cheap but to deny us use of the bar was ridiculous. Once the rain died up next day we found a local pub (looked like Crufts so many dogs) and were advised by locals where to stay next time - cheaper better facilities and really dog friendly

Spent a week here in a Bedford Bambi during Spring Holiday week.
Noticed many structural changes since my last visit. I still highly rate the overall experience. However, the new shower block was often muddy, grassy and at times, in need of more frequent cleaning. However, my wife said that the female toilets were always clean. Perhaps this had something to do with some campers blocking the toilets by unravelling toilet roll into the toilet bowls.
All said & done, will still be going back in August. Can't beat the location or staff!

Camped 2nd weekend in May, joining our Grandson's rugby tour, who were staying in the bungalows. We camped in field 3 with stunning views over the bay, but little protection from the wind and rain. Clean showers. Push button and 5 pushes before the hot came through but a good temperature once it reached you. Unfortunately that wasn't the water temperature at the washing up area. The clubhouse menu had loads of choice, massive portions & reasonably priced. Staff very friendly & helpful. We were amazed at our electric use, we had the heater on lots due to the weather but in fact only used £6 over the weekend.

Stayed for 1 night 27th june, really expensive for whats there & where it is, ok there's a 'pool' & a club, but I don't see how they can justify the price. £26. 50 p/n plus £5 deposit for a elec card (does get returned after visit) plus £2's worth of elec (just don't use a heater). I was shown to a sloping grass pitch so I needed the wedges to level up a bit. Basically my 'pitch' was by a elec box in the spare bit of the field. To my annoyance there were 3 sub teens kicking a football not far from me which really p****d me off also. It was quite a hike down to the beach if you fancied a walk. I didn't use any facilities so I can't comment on them. I wouldn't stay there again even if it was half the price SORRY.

When I tried finding a site for the Easter weekend on the Gower, the sites at the top of my list were all full. Therefore, I settled for Bank Farm as it was the only one where I could get a pitch with EHU. The reason Bank Farm wasn't at the top of my list was purely based on their website; how wrong I was. Their website really doesn't do this site justice. The location is superb with plenty of gently sloping lush green fields offering you beautiful views of Port Eynon. There are seasonal pitches which is like a community all to itself but one-off visitors like us are pitched in other fields. The shop stocks pretty much everything you need and we used the pool once for the kids to cool off. We didn't use the bar but plenty of people we spoke to recommended the food especially the Sunday lunch. The beach is a 10 minute easy walk but it is rather steep down a rough track so might not be a good idea if you are elderly or unsteady on your feet. I was a bit concerned about the electricity smart card system they operate because I had never come across it before but it was great. We paid £5 which gave us 33kwh, of which 17kwh was left on our day of departure and you get your £5 back when you hand the card back in. I think it's the way forward when you think most sites charge you an average of about £3. 50 per night for hook-up. We could have done with a map of the site to show all the facilities but we eventually found out where everything was. I can't see the shower block coping very well when the site is full but I only discovered on our last night that there was another male shower block via an unmarked door right next to the chemical disposal point. Luckily a regular visitor saw me queuing for a shower and advised me about it. The two previous nights, I queued along with my two children and 2-3 other men, all of whom were unaware of the other set of showers. All the showers badly need more hooks (at child height) and/or a fold-down shelf or seat to put your things on. Plenty of hot water though. All in all, I would highly recommend this site.

We Have stayed at bank farm in our tent many times but the 2 most recent were the august bank holiday weekend and we enjoyed it so much we went again 2 weeks later!
We mostly book to stay in field 3 with electric hook up mainly because it's quite near the toilet block and the view can be stunning. It is slightly sloping which was fine but is not that sheltered if the weather gets bad, but a good pay off for just for the views of the bay
The toilet block is always clean and the showers are very good, and even though we stayed at a very busy time they were never too crowded.
The kids loved The swimming pool although it can be quite cold when the weather isn't warm.
There is a steep uneven path to the beach from the site which was fine for us but could imagine May be difficult for some people.
Very good site with excellent facilities and things to, do if the weather isn't the best

Visited for a family holiday. Had the benefit of Mediterranean weather which obviously helped a lot but really loved this site.
Although we didn't make much use of them, all the facilities were clean and well cared-for and the views from the site were stunning. Superb beach within an easy (very downhill!) 1 mile walk.
Easy drive or cycle ride to a lot of local attractions. We will definitely be back!

Great views, Stayed with group of 16 in field 12. Staff all friendly and very HARD working. Swimming pool hit with kids, good stocked shop which is good priced. Nice chippy on site as well.
10 mins walk to beach(Go down there by side of shop). Toilets were clean especially considering it was packed there. Could be a bit bigger. Somebodys dog was running around the field spoke to reception about and it was dealt with straight away.
The only issue (not the sites fault)some idiots drive to fast, add some speed bumps (from toilets up to the field 12). Also to help out the staff in the café (they were flat out)put a menu up showing what's available chips, curry, burgers etc. Thanks for a nice time.
