This site is in a beautiful area over looking a wide stretch of beach which can be accessed very easily from the site, we have been to this site over many years and some facilities have not changed (though there are building works going on at present which will improve some aspects on Site).
There is a small shop which stocks a wide variety of goods and the staff are pleasant and helpful. The swimming pool can be cold and not really suitable for small children who will feel cold quite quickly and is used by people from off site who can over run the capacity making it difficult to enjoy a good swim.
The club house on site is comfortable and the food is really good (if the chef is on that day) but still ok with fast food available and daily specials.
On the downside the toilet blocks are dated and not cleaned as well as they should be but there are toilet rolls and soap provided. All in all a good site,
If I had one complaint it would be the attitude of some staff in the reception area and the fact that it seemed more of a children's crèche!
The family are involved on site and are really helpful. Yes I would visit again.

Great site beautiful location. Have camped at this site 30 years ago and not much has changed.
The pitches are good size and prone to being water logged in rain.
Horton village has the very basics for shopping but the beach makes up for it.
Swimming pool has been improved over the years but its cold and the same size and in busy periods would not be fit for purpose for this potentially busy site.
Club house if fine with and on occasions provides B-B-Q food. Good prices.
Security of site is poor. Toilets are dirty and not fit for purpose.

I really enjoyed my stay here we had a 2 night stay and paid to stay an extra day, the pitch was nice and flat with partial fences to determine the pitches as we had electric we overlooked a huge almost empty field for the non electric campers
Which the kids enjoyed playing in not all pitches are like this only saw them in field 5.
There's also two small parks and pool
The beach is lovely there's a rocky path down to it or there's a road on a steep hill to a pay and display car park we walked with the kids and then I run up to get the car later.
The shop on site is pretty good all the essential bits and bobs including windbreakers needed due to the lovely welsh coastal breeze.
Only downside is someone stole two tent pegs off us which was pretty weird but had plenty of spares lol

First things first, the location is great. The path down to the beach is close by but is quite steep on the return. The site itself is vast and the facilities were good but are looking slightly dated especially the shower/toilet block which really has seen better days.
The children's play area although close to the bar/restaurant is the other side of the main entrance road and we witnessed a few fast drivers narrowly missing children as they headed into the campsite.
On site pool is small and usually very busy but otherwise ok.
The evenings saw a few rowdy teenagers that had been on the shandy but other than the occasional swearing from them they were of no problem to us.
Overall we found the site ok as a base for our motorhome and the closeness of the site to the beach and towns was brilliant. Fantastic views and walks

A big site - and it felt very big, like a city.
We had a great pitch, quite flat and with a view of the sea. We were very close to the steep path down to the brilliant beach. This was great.
The Gower is a fantastic place to holiday, you are never far from beautiful beaches and outdoor activities.
However, there were many aspects of the holiday that I did not enjoy. The toilets often ran out of loo roll, and had no soap. I asked the manager about this, and was told that the soap dispensers would get vandalised!
There was a small pool, but this was populated by teenagers, who ignored the lifeguard, and dominated the pool by bombing.
There were lots of big groups at the site - noisy until late, the site had none of the peace and tranquillity that I associate with the beautiful Gower.

We enjoyed our stay at Bank Farm for 2 nights over a busy weekend. Large fields for tents with plenty of space. Views good and surrounding beaches excellent. Site bar / cafe does good food and excellent beer. Small friendly shop sells all the essential items.
Downside that could be improved: The one toilet block is small, smelly and unpleasant. Only 4 sinks and 4 showers for each sex. Showers poor, dirty and had broken clothes hooks. Urinals very dirty. Did not see any evidence of cleaning over our 2 days.
Campsite tent fields appeared to attract people who enjoyed staying up until 1am / 2am playing music and and talking loudly.

Just returned from a week at Bank Farm. We arrived in the wind and rain and had a nightmare trying to get the tent up! Not Bank Farm's fault.
The good points - stunning views, reasonably priced and fairly tasty food. Our pitch (field 5) was of a good size but it did appear to be cramped as though they were squeezing in as many tents/caravans that they could.
The bad points - dirty showers (best used at night when the water was lovely and warm) and toilets; no soap dispensers at the wash hand basins (of which there were only 4 in the ladies loos so very cramped); low water pressure at the washing up sinks; very noisy.
The staff were friendly enough and the check in was swift and efficient although the chap who showed us to our pitch didn't seem bothered that our electric hook up was nowhere near our tent nor would it stretch and he would not move us to another pitch. We were close enough to the toilets/shower block so not much of a trek.
The pool was ok although a bit small but the changing rooms were terrible. Any more than three of you in there and you were stumped!
The children's playground seemed to be occupied by groups of sulky unsupervised teenagers so our two 11 year olds were slightly intimidated and wouldn't use it.
The grounds are well maintained but the actual indoor facilities really do need re-vamping.
The beaches and surrounding area are stunning - you couldn't ask for more. Nice walk downhill from the site to Horton beach which was lovely and clean.

Reception staff friendly. Man on cart promptly showed us to our plot opposite some semi-permanent caravans. As site is very large, the single toilet/shower block could be a treck for some. I noticed the recognisable aroma of chemical toilets on our plot, possibly from the mentioned semi-permanent, unmaintained caravans.
This place seems to be full of very large families that come here year in, year out and occupy large areas of the small/medium clubhouse. Ordered food, delivered to wrong table and tried to give the food to me after it had been sat there for 15 mins going cold!
Simple things missing such as: The showers were always dirty, no coathangers in toilet cubicles, tricky if it's raining and you need to wear a coat. No soap at the really cramped basins, of which there are only four.
If you like dogs then you'll love this place as there are little dogs yapping and cr4ppin' everywhere!
Huge site but facilities that haven't grown with the popularity, so not sure where the investments gone, maybe to buy more fields to cram more people in?!
Having said all that, the beach is fab. So, book somewhere else and travel to the beach!

We went back to Bank Farm again this year, because I know what I am getting & nothing had changed (still no decent pressure in the washing up sinks - but there is a lovely view to enjoy whilst waiting for the bowl to fill up!).
We know field 12 is a long way to the loo - but this can be remedied, by having a loo with you!
This site is brilliant for the view, the club house, cafe, shop, pool etc. Nearby is a wonderful beach & take time to visit Rhossili beach - it takes your breath away.
A tradition for my daughter is 'Adopt a Pony' in Clyne farm, 20 mins away, £20 for 3 hours (inc a ride or lesson) & she helps in the stables giving me time to enjoy a quiet couple of hours in Swansea shops!
Loads of activities nearby: Perriswood archery & falcons, Parkmill heritage centre are just two.
We will be back!

Negative: The shower block was cleaned rarely and is dated. After complaining about the cleanliness, I was told 'we don't make the mess'. Overflowing toilets, poor showers with insufficient hanging / horizontal areas. Sinks so close to each other that you have to leave the sinks to let another person in or out. As soon as the restaurant got busy, the wait for food was 1.5 hours. Pool had some very interesting things floating in it.
Positive: Plenty of room on the site. Food was actually quite good.
