July 2004 Great site. Had the full sign up but there was loads of space. Great for kids to run around. Toilets and showers were clean with plenty of hot water. Booking in busy times is essential. Great beach on the doorstep with others just a short drive away. Caswell bay is beautiful but get there early to park.

July 2004 Very clean and well kept site. Endless supply of free hot water in shower/toilet block and washing up area (I must say every time we had hot water) also ample supply of toilet paper and both areas were kept clean. Smashing views over the sea from all areas on the park. It's probably best to book, that way you can give then your preferences (ie. near the all facilities or in a secluded spot) and they will do their best to accomodate you, as they did with us, otherwise you could find yourself miles away in the top field with quite a distance to walk. The meals on site were reasonably priced and also the shop didn't charge extortionate prices for the basic essentials (check the closing times of the shop) we got caught out because we persumed they'd be open until late, that wasn't the case and there isn't any other shops unless you either walk on the beach to Port Enyon or pop there in the car - it's not that far at all). Although the weather wasn't that good to us we did have a look at the outdoor un-covered pool which looked clean but the whole area was a little on the small side, especially when the park is so large, I imagine it could be a bit of a squash when the sun shines both in the pool and sitting around the side. There is a shallow end for the smaller children. They have a laundrette on site. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The only down side (which has nothing to do with the site) was the walk to the beach. It's ok going down but coming back it's a strain on the old legs to say the least and it leaves you a little breathless once at the top (mind it gives you a good excuse to call in at the bar for refreshments, purely for medicinal purposes of course). It must have been bad because my 5 and 6 year olds both complained about going to the beach and that is very very unusual. The whole Gower area is very picturesque with the most beautifullest of beaches, so don't forget your camera. It is part of the National Trust where wild horses, cattle and sheep roam freely. We visited The Mumbles, Swansea Marina and Worms Head, places you must visit. A most enjoyable holiday on a site which I have no complaints about, as you can see.

2003 and 2004 We are regular visitors to this camp site as we live not far away. The shower blocks have been updated this year. The views from fields 2 and 3 are outstanding. The pitches are quite generous even for our large tent. The food is of good value and choice and the staff are always friendly and helpful. It is like being in a different world when staying here as the countryside is so quiet and the scenery so outstanding. Cant wait to go again next week.

May 2004 First time campers, had a lovely time, we were very lucky the weather was good, showers and toilets were very clean, swimming pool was clean but could have done with a bit of weeding around the patio area. But all in all had a very enjoyable time and will go back again.

April 2004 I found this a very good site. After visiting others campsites in the Gower this was definitely one of the best. The only downside is there is quite a walk to the beach and it's all uphill on the way back, however this doesn't really matter as there is a pool, a club and a park on the site. There is also a well stocked shop. The showers are free and the water was always hot. I enjoyed my stay very much and will definitely be visiting this site again.

Many times We use Bank Farm quite regulary for weekend stays. Usually loads of space. If you can get a pitch down on the front the view is fantastic. Not a bad site at all really.

July 2003 We went a month back and it was brill, very well organised, the shower blocks are all clean and tidy. The washing up sinks are stainless steel, out in the open but we didn't mind as there was plenty of hot water and they were quite big.
The pool was quite cold until you got used to it but the kids didn't mind as the weather was hot.
The clubhouse was okay, the had entertainment on too (but as the weather was good we stayed by the tent) and the snacks served were good (all cooked fresh to order)
The shop was small but adequate and the people who ran it were lovely and patient with the kids (while they took hours deciding what to spend their money on!!) It wasn't far into Killay where there are plenty of shops including a Co-op.
The park was great and the kids enjoy it. CCTV cameras are in operation around the park. It's a bit of a trek to Horton beach uphill all the way back!!
I'd recommend Bank Farm, thats why we're going back, and there again its easy for us to get to.

June 2003 Fantastic views and lots of space, the shop is well stocked and reasonably priced, the bar and pool are also very good, the food is reasonably priced but I had a cooked breakfast and it was served in a heap on the plate covered in baked beans- not very appetizing! At nearly £20 per night for a caravan with electric hook-up it is rather pricey and the shower block is basic and has seen better days but it is still a nice park. If you are towing your caravan there try to avoid going through the near-by village of Penrice as it is has very narrow, steep hills and sharp bends.

August 2002 This is a huge campsite. Be warned if you are in field 12A -the toilets are 2 fields away! The shop is even further. There is a clubsite that does (indifferent) food, a small outdoor swimming pool and the afore mentioned shop which is very expensive for basics (eg milk). There is only one toilet block on the site, and it is beginning to look as if it has seen better days. Showers are free. Washing up facilities are all outdoors and the water was rarely hot. There is a children's play area- it is by the road near the entrance, and a considerable way from the main camping areas. We paid £18 per night for a trailer tent with electrics.
