Stayed here for three nights. This was a very busy site with lots of people coming and going but we found it to be extremely friendly.
PROS
Wardens Doug and Joan were lovely and nothing was too much trouble, very chatty and informative.
We were given a large pitch with EHU.
Clean showers/toilets/pot washing area.
Bus into Stratford right outside site every half hour, 10 minute journey.
Shop, tourist info on site.
CONS
Large residential sight with a field to 'squeeze in' tourers.
Most tent pitches were sloping.
Most pitches very close to each other.
4 toilets and 3 showers busy constantly with amount of users.
Children not allowed to play on site, but there was a dog walking field they could kick a ball in which was way out of sight of the touring field and not really suitable for smaller children.
Shop only open certain short hours.
Saying all this though, this is a site for a stop over. You would be out in Stratford or surrounding countryside all day. It isn't really a site to relax by your tent with the papers all day and in this respect it serves it's purpose.
A site that we would use again.

We chose this site to meet friends who had a tent as it was about half way from both our homes. We arrived just after lunch on Friday to a lovely peaceful site with loads of space. By tea-time it was packed!
The site slopes well, although some terracing has been attempted and there are house bricks around the site to aid levelling, and they were needed.
The facilities were clean and tidy and the site itself was immaculate with hanging baskets all round. The wardens were very friendly as was the lady in the shop, but the opening hours were a bit strange.
We were also surprised that the washblock was closed for cleaning 11 to 12 which meant that after a lazy breakfast on Saturday our friends had to use our van for a wash and teeth clean.
We also had to vacate the pitch by 12 on Sunday, so couldn't use the loo before we left. Maybe 12 til 1 would be a better option? We were also disappointed that there wasn't a bin by the washing up sinks for food debris or in the wash blocks for the empty bottles, razors, tissues etc which were left on the window sill.
There is a bus into Stratford but we didn't use it as there was four of us so the car was cheaper - all day parking in a central car park only cost £4. 00. Stratford was lovely - we didn't do the Shakespeare stuff this time but wandered around the shops and went on a river cruise. We found a fish and chip restaurant for dinner on Saturday night (ask in reception) which was excellent.
On the whole we did have a lovely weekend at Dodwell Park. We thought it was quite expensive at £18 a night, but the site was quite peaceful considering how full it was (however, it is a shame the 11 o clock rule wasn't enforced on Friday night). We'll definitely go back and meet our friends again next year.

The tents and caravans are really crammed in. The ground was very uneven so levelling blocks were needed. There are both grass pitches and some hard standing.
Facilities were very disappointing. Small showers which were not very hot and the middle one had hardly any pressure. The water did not drain away either. No bins, hair dryers were broken and it was often dirty.
The location was good to get into centre of Stratford. Unfortunately didn't know about the bus.
We would not stop here again.

We stayed at this site for one night in order to go to the river festival in Stratford Upon Avon. The site is very nice, good lay out and very clean. We didn't arrive until about 1. 30 and the site was getting busy. We went out and when we came back in the evening the site was quite full and some of the the caravans were pretty close together. Although the site was busy it was quiet (apart from the constant hum of the road - which I think might be the motorway).
There is a bit of a slope to the site so you need to think about how to pitch your tent. Booking was easy and the gentleman (didn't get his name} was pleasant and showed us to a choice of 2 pitches. We paid £15. 50 for one night with no EHU (however EHU is available).
The sinks for washing up are outside (but undercover). The toilets and showers were spotless with lots of hot water. The showers were also clean if a little small.
Would definitely go back to this site.

Just come back from a long weekend at this site very enjoyable the site is very clean all facilities cleaned regularly ( even when left a bit dirty by some users ) The shop sells all required basics, one really good point for me is that there is a regular bus service from right outside the entrance unfortunately there is no Sunday service. All in all a very good site with friendly and helpful wardens will definitely return for another visit. Hardstandings for motorhomes made it better for us. Site is busy at weekends but lovely and peaceful during the week.

Great site. About 10 mins from Stratford. Bus available from site would save on parking, however we never used it so not sure of cost! Shop well stocked and very reasonable. Shower block great as separate area within cubicle for clothes, constant warm water. Undercover washing up area and didn't have to wait long to use these even at busy times. A popular site and small enough to be close to all amenities on site. We used it as a base for Stratford tourist things and very good. People very friendly and helpful as this was our first camping trip. Can't wait till next time :)

Easy to find. Good for visiting Stratford or Warwick Castle. Site well kept, owners very accommodating.
Shop small but sold what was needed at reasonable prices. Shower facilities clean and well maintained.
Only downside would be the lack of children's play area. Make sure you inform the owner of the size of your tent when booking as it could be an issue.
We have an 8 man tent but he did find space to suit our needs but stated he may struggle in high season.
Would definitely recommend this site and would stay again.

The owners were very friendly and helpful upon arrival, showed us our pitch and explained where the amenities were.
The touring site is fairly small but very well kept, although there were families staying there was no noise, it was very peaceful.
There is a small but well stocked shop, we did not use it but we had a quick look inside!.
Our pitch was hardstanding, it was quite unlevel, but as we were only staying 1 night this was not too difficult to resolve.
There was plenty of hot water for showering, and the shower curtains were clean, but the floors were quite muddy from other people, we felt that the blocks could be cleaned more often than once a day.
All in all the site was good value, very pleasant and although it was only 2 miles from the town, it felt like you were in a quiet countryside.

Very easy site to find with good access even for a large outfit, when we stayed it had obviously had some heavy rain and unless you were lucky enough to have a hardstand then you had a very boggy pitch. High levelling blocks are essential as its on a bit of a slope. Toilet blocks are lovely and are obviously being refurbed at the moment, showers were free and piping hot.
The site is within 2 miles of Stratford with a bus stop right across the road or if you prefer to drive there's a huge car park behind the leisure centre with spaces large enough for whatever you drive.

We visited this site for 3 nights over the weekend. This is a very easy site to find being on the main road from Stratford to Bidford and well signposted.
The lady was very friendly upon arrival. No hardstanding was available as there were motorhomes booked in, but we had the rest of the field to choose apart from 3 other caravans.
The grass was cut short and the site was on a slight slope which was not too much of a problem using blocks.
Stratford/Bidford is a 10 minute drive away and we also visited Broadway and Evesham on the Sunday.
The toilet/shower block was clean with hot water and there were works being carried out on the Monday when we left.
This is a small and quiet site and will probably use again in the future.
