Stayed here for 4 nights. Were welcomed by the warden and shown to our pitch. This was more than big enough for our 10 man tent with car space by the side. Although there is a big field for kids to play in, it could could do with a couple of swings/goalposts ect as it was literally a field.
The toilet/shower facilities were clean and had great power showers but could do with updating cosmetically. A couple more washbasins would also be a good idea as there was only 2 which in the mornings/evenings was not enough. The shop on site was very good and had all the basics and the staff were friendly.
If you are planning to go to Warwick Castle, you can get a voucher from there which gives you 25% off the entry (this was great as there were 5 of us.) There are several nice pubs within a short drive as well as Stratford itself for food.
All in all a good site that is ideally situated for exploring the Stratford area and I would use it again if I was in the area

The campsite is about two to three miles from Stratford on the side of the road. If it's a peaceful site you are looking for then this might not be it. Everyone is packed in quite close together and there is some traffic noise.
The facilities are a bit dated, however the shop is a big bonus, and you can get your daily paper from there too. Saying that although there were a lot of people on site, we didn' have to queue for the showers.
The showers were good and the block had a hairdryer. The warden's are extremely friendly and helpful and for that reason it's a nice site to visit. They also keep it very clean and tidy, and come round to check that everything is ok with everyone.
There is a bus stop right opposite the entrance which takes you to the centre of stratford. Dogs are welcome and there is a big field to take them for a walk.

We visited this site on the first weekend in August. On arrival, the friendly warden showed us to our pitch and helped us reverse in! Clean, smallish site. We were pitched just by the shower/loo block. Although the block was in constant use, we never queued for shower or loo's.
Wash up sinks on side of block were good. 'Cool' shower on Sunday am (but site was full). Good, well stocked site shop and even able to reserve a paper each morning.
Altogether, a great little site, within 1 mile of Stratford, so really great for exploring! No balls games on site and no pub/club or kiddies playground. This didn't put us off though and We will be back.

Having read the reviews on this site here we decided to approach our May Bank holiday visit with an open mind and enjoy the stay.
On arrival we were met by the warden Doug, a really nice Welshman who walked us to our pitch, an all-grass area not far from the shower/toilet block.
Although at the bottom end of the site which was the most level, we still had to level up across the axles and quite high on the nose wheel, but as we had seen comments about the unevenness of the site we arrived well prepared with planks and blocks. Be prepared for this if you visit.
I will not go on a bundle about the toilet block (OK, maybe I will a little), except to say that that this site really needs to reinvest its site fees into modernising the facility. It was woefully inadequate for the amount of tents and vans on the site over the Bank Holiday. There is a very large tent camping area here and obviously this puts a load on the facilities.
On the plus side the toilets and showers were cleaned as best as possible but had seen better days a long time ago by modern site standards. It was obvious that the owner of the site is more interested in pocketing the profit than reinvesting some of it back into the site in general.
There is a shop on site that keeps great hours and pretty much all life’s immediate necessities were stocked, so a big ‘thumbs up’ there, and the rates were reasonable.
Our biggest criticism of the site involved the spacing of the outfits and the traffic in terms on children on bikes, with footballs and cricket sets and even bows and arrows thumping off the side of the van. We are a mature couple who arrived without our teenage kids and even we were informed on arrival that no ball games where permitted, particularly as there was a play area for such activities.
Our advice to anyone who wants to keep their van in one piece and un-dented is to avoid this site. Our nerves were on edge by the time we left!
It served a purpose and allowed us to visit Stratford at what was a very busy time, but would we ever go back? No sorry, not again. In fact my wife who was so very anti ‘Adult Only’ sites when we arrived here was a convert by the time we left.

Just spent a weekend at Dodwell Park with my partner and our dog and we had a great time. Reading other peoples reviews, I agree with the facilities.
The shower/toilet block could do with updating, and only has 3 showers, so, along with others, cued to use the shower. We Was pleasently greeted on arrival and directed to our pitch. There were a lot of tents present on this site-possibly because of the Grand Prix on but that did not bother us and we still had plenty of room.
Not sure if we would stay here again, as we would prefer to stay a bit nearer to stratford and the river. However, great little campsite for a weekend away! There is a lovely pub approx 5mins drive away, which also serves food.

Have just spent Wed to Sat on this lovely, small, quiet site located within a couple of miles of Stratford with lovely views of the surrounding area. An ideal base for exploring, even has a bus stop outside the site.
Very helpful, friendly wardens willing to advise on places to visit and things to see.
Toilets were very clean, basic but with lots of lovely hot water in the showers.
Great field, away from the camping area for children to let off steam.
We'll be back!

On arrival I was shown to our pitch by the wardens both of who were very friendly!
As other people have commented the toilets are tired but I have stayed on site with much worse.
The site did seem crowded and all types of units were crammed in, in no apparent order.
We were using the site to visit Warwick Castle which is about twelve miles away so we didn't spend much time on site. I didn't see any play areas or things to keep the children occupied.
The site had a shop which seemed to open early and late and it carried all the basics you would need.
The site is very close to Stratford on Avon. So if you're looking for site close to Stratford on Avon Dodwell park is in a perfect location

Just spent Friday to Mon on this site. Brilliant. Small and quiet with dated but spotless facilities. More than adequate. The site wardens were very helpful & friendly and accommodated us and our family brilliantly. A total of 4 units, all placed together as requested. At one point we looked like the clampets on tour, but were left to get on with it.
No play ground, which is a shame but other than that would recommend. 5 Mins fron town center. Would definitely return.

Easily located, 2miles from Stratford upon Avon. A small compact site more suited to caravans (personal view). The site slopes, with 8-10 small (for maximum 5 metre motor homes / caravans)hard standing pitches situated at the bottom.
There is a shop on site, which has a short opening times, but by finding the warden, will open up to serve.
The bus service is limited, there are none on Sundays, limited on Saturdays, none on public holidays.
Toilets are clean, but basic, could do with up-dating and possibly not adequate at times when site is busy.
No playground, a field at front of park.
We found ourselves sited on a grass pitch, although we had pre-booked a hard standing (we were not alone).Saying this the wardens were very helpful and had just taken over the running of the site

On arrival we were pleasantly surprised after reading the previous reviews. The site is a small and quiet site but if we had put our awning up as well I don't quite know where I would have parked the car. The toilets were clean but greatly in need of refurbishment. The park is situated off a main road so not worth taking the bikes due to the speeds the cars travel at on this road. As mentioned in other reviews the shop is well stocked and the site manager was very pleasant.
Would I return to this site again, yes in the future.
