An ideal site for Stratford which was a 40' walk through the countryside then the outskirts of town; obviously it's quicker by car and there's a bus stop right outside served by the X18 Stratford/Evesham route.
After a warm welcome from the lady warden I set up easily on a hard-standing with ehu and plenty of space. It's a lovely, quiet and spacious site with water/grey water points well distributed. Toilet block clean and tidy but perhaps a bit small for busy times (3 showers and sinks, 2 toilet cubicles) and could have been warmer.
I came from the M5 and it was an easy run via the A46 and B439 at Salford priors.
Indian restaurant 20' walk otherwise you're looking at the outskirts.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dodwell park, it was a lovely site with nice facilities. The showers were hot and powerful and the site had a dedicated washing up area. Being on a hill presented a few challenges keeping everyone in bed but we were there for 5 nights and it wasn't a significant issue. The wardens were friendly and helpful. We used Dodwell as a base to travel into London as well as to explore Stratford-upon-Avon and had a very busy week, we could have easily occupied another week and still been happy at the site. Although we didn't use it the site has a dog walking/ playing field for children and pet owners to use and was very welcoming to our 4 children under 11!

We received a friendly welcome and our pitch was fine. The campsite was tidy and well laid out, the grass was cut.
Downside was that there are no laundry facilities, not even a sink for washing clothes in. The drinking water tap is in need of repair as the screws holding the tap have come loose (which may be due to the fact that the 'wall' holding them is plastic. The toilets and showers are in need of a bit of TLC as some of the toilets have lost their clothes hooks. The chemical toilet disposal hadn't been flushed when I went to use it and appeared to be blocked so that was pretty unpleasant.
One final issue and this may just have been a one off - but the cleaning took place at 7 a. M. Which is somewhat unrealistic, because that's the time when people tend to use the loo.
All considered, we thought that the price of the campsite was too expensive for what was on offer.

Warm welcome on arrival very helpful lady who suggested pitching the tent on the top of the bank where it was flat for a view over the bungalows, very good advice. Small site Shower block very clean and plenty of hot water. Very good bus service into Stratford from just outside the site. Arrived back on a very hot afternoon for a cup of tea and found our fridge had decided to pack up, although the shop was closed the lady in reception got a carton of milk for me and loaned me some ice packs to use to keep food cool in the fridge. The Wardens are very friendly but unobtrusive. Will definitely visit again. Good value site

Two night stay in this lovely small site - sited a the back of a mobile home park, so you know it's a nice quiet site - new hard standing pitches on the lower half of the site made for easy parking with a little levelling we were settled very quickly, hook ups and water points close by and facilities were small but clean; the showers are very good. Bus stop just outside of the park takes you in to Stratford in minutes. The shop is open for early morning requirements but as this was low season was only open for an hour or so. We loved this place.

Spent a weekend here visiting Stratford.
A very friendly welcome from the staff in the office and the site was clean and tidy. The grass pitches were sodden so they asked us to park on the access roads as there were so few units on site.
The toilet block is clean and well equipped although there was a leak in the gents during heavy rain. We reported this to the office as it was close to a light fitting, but they knew about it suggesting the owners were a bit tardy to sort it. Good free hot showers!
There is a bus stop at the site entrance but it is £3 into Stratford and the last bus back is about 6. 30pm. A taxi was only just £7.
We walked in the following day as there is a pavement alongside the road and this only took around 40 minutes.
In summary, a clean well located site. Not the prettiest but great for visiting Stratford and we will return.

This year we spent the four days between Christmas and New Year at Dodwell Park and we found the site managers very friendly and helpful. The site was nice and tidy with about eight hardstandings, good toilets, washing up sinks and showers. As motorhome owners we found this site really convenient for visiting the area as the local bus services to Evesham and Stratford stop right outside the site entrance.

We spent 3 nights here and received a warm and friendly welcome. I felt the hardstanding pitches were rather close to each other but the aspect was fine.
As it was out of season the shop only opened for one hour each morning, but if you were short of anything, reception would open up for you.
The facilities block was a bit basic (whitewashed breezeblock) and was a bit cold, despite the heating being on. The water pressure and temperatures were on the low side too.
Although out of town, on a busy road, the location was fine with reasonable access to quite lanes and lovely countryside for our cycle explorations.
I'd give Stratford itself a miss in future and simply head for the lovely villages of Welford on Avon and Alcester, which were both stunning.

Just back from a weekend at dodwell a pleasant site we went with our son and daughter in law they had a tent, Dave put us next to each other we had a great stay. The site isn't large but it's quiet and the toilet blocks are clean and functional there is a bus stop right outside the site to Stratford which is beautiful we also went to Warwick castle certainly worth a visit really enjoyed it, Dave was always walking around and always made a point of stopping and having a chat, friendly place to stay will be back at some point.
