This is our second stay at this site and still given a warm welcome and had a perfect stay
Bearing in mind that I had a broken foot and spend my time hobbling about on crutches this site proved no problem to my temporary disability
Staff on this site are all very friendly and extremely helpful - so much so that on one afternoon we were watching a film and fancied a break in the middle of the film so wandered to the on-site shop for ice-cream - the shop was actually closed but they were still happy to open up just for us to get our fix of ice-cream Yum.
It is a small site and perfect for those who like peace and quiet
Our first night meal just had to be from 'Chutneys' Indian restaurant which is just down the road from the site
The shower and toilet blocks are kept clean and well looked after, plenty of rubbish bins around and we found other campers to be happy and friendly too
This is one of our top ten sites for staying at and will be back again later in the year
Many thanks to all the staff for making our stay very enjoyable - full marks xx

We have just returned from our first camping trip.
We decided to go to Dodwell Park as it wasn't to far to travel.
The wardens were very friendly and helpful on our arrival and throughout our stay. (He charged the wife's kindle in his own caravan as she had forgot her charger and supplied some duck tape to repair a leaking air bed)
The site was well maintained and the toilet and shower block was clean (and warm!) and the on site shop had all the essentials you will need.
We will definitely be returning to this site.

Overview- what a lovely little site! All facilities were clean and in good order, the shop was well stocked and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Public transport links in to Stratford are excellent.
I have no hesitation in recommending Dodwell Park to anyone.
I have stayed at many campsites but Dodwell park is my favourite, we received a very warm welcome and were shown to our pitch not just pointed in the general direction.

We went on a the may bank holiday. The park was very nice. Recently refurbished shower block 'heated' and toilets. Big field at the back for dog walking or children to play. Handy shop on site. Easy access to the town and local attractions. Very good place rebooked again.

First impressions were very good, views from the site are excellent large pitch but it was on a slope.
Very good field for dogs and kids, does run next to road but a good hedge between them.
The shop was excellent, with very cheap local fruit and veg, the owners were very friendly.
Walked along the river to Stratford, lovely walk, including walking along the bottom of peoples gardens. Took just over 2hrs. Got a bus back which stops right outside the site.
It was the 2nd bank holiday weekend in May so on the Friday and Saturday it got very busy, in fact too busy.
The hot water packed up on the Sunday morning, and all we got was cold water showers, apparently the immersions hadn't clicked in, which was remedied once the warden had looked for himself. Sometimes queues for the showers and especially the gents toilets, they were also not cleaned enough and ran out of toilet tissue on more than one occasion.
We were lucky with our pitch being up on the highest part of the site, if we had been in the middle section where they were packed in like sardines I wouldn't of been very happy, the warden was actually boasting about how he always goes over the quota if he can fit extra units in which is not my idea of a happy camping experience with another tent almost right next to me the guys were actually touching on some of them, so for that reason I will not be going there again, in case I end up in that middle section!

As our first sortie into the world of motorhome travel and camping this was a pleasant introduction. We were greeted at the reception and shown which pitch to use. The facilities were very clean and warm [it was frosty in the morning]. We only stayed one night as we were on our way north but would certainly use again as a base to visit Stratford. I did not see any facilities for children so this is marked down for this reason, otherwise site seemed suitable for children and well away from main road

Stayed at this nice little site for a long weekend.
Very pleasant and helpful wardens. We were in a new caravan and unfortunately the cable between the car and van had been dragging on the road and had frayed. The warden assured us that it was not a problem and he did a temporary repair to get us home. All the lights still worked when we hitched up again so we were extremely grateful.
The facilities were clean and newly painted and the shop was very useful. Most grass pitches were sloping but we were on a hardstanding which was much better.
Stratford upon Avon is a lovely town with good shops and lots of sights to see. Many other places in the area to visit.

Agree with everything last reviewer says.
Excellent welcome from wardens, who had only been on-site three days; they were very helpful in allowing us to get round the problem of frozen dish-washing facilities.
Facilities clean, and mostly very good: plenty of hot water in showers and wash basins. Note there is no laundry.
Bus stops (for Stratford & Evesham, maybe also Redditch) right outside. The only reason it doesn't get 10/10 for location is there are no footpaths to walk off site; but you could, if you wanted, walk into Stratford as there is a pavement alongside the road. We had no problems with noise from the road.
We imagine this site will be very good when it thaws a bit !

Stayed for a 2 night weekend break. Found it a pleasant and friendly site with helpful wardens. Toilet and shower block spotlessly clean and the free showers well designed and easy to use. A shop on site supplies newspapers and some basic items. The site is on the Stratford to Eveshan road which was busy at times but as the touring field is a little back off the road noise was not a problem. A Monday to Saturday bus service stops right outside the site - useful as parking in Stratford centre can be expensive. Our first time at this site but will certainly stay there again.
