Just returned from 6 wonderful nights at Dodwell Park caravan park. A very friendly site with amazing wardens. Dave and his wife were very helpful always there to see to our every need. The site was beautifully kept the toilet block was always clean and tidy. Dave walked around all the time making sure everything was OK. The shop was well stocked and newspapers delivered daily. We definitely will be returning as it is very close to Stratford upon Avon

We have just spent two nights on this site on our way back from France. We found the site online while we were parked up in Dover the day before, I initially tried the Riverside Campsite but they were fully booked which with hindsight was a good thing as Dodwell park was a great site with very friendly and helpful staff. It is very clean and not too big, the facilities were kept very spotless by Dave and his wife. They have a small shop and sell everyday groceries at very reasonable prices. The Site is just Two miles away from the Beautiful Town of Stratford upon Avon and is on the main road out of the town with Bus stops right outside. They don't have WIFI at the moment but Julian the owner said that it would be installed soon and in the mean time you can log on outside the office. We will certainly be returning to Stratford upon Avon AND Dodwell Park as it has everything that you need and is not overpriced.

Our pitch was very very uneven and we had to use all our blocks to try and level it. Good dog walk area. The resident dog though went mental every time we went past with my Assistance Dog who is very well trained and didn't bark back. It put us off a bit though as their dog was aggressive. I understand it's probably a guard dog, but don't put off your punters please!
Shower facilities ok. Not as clean a site as we have experienced in the past but ok. We used as a base to go around the area which was good.
Getting out of the site proved hard as its a very busy and fast road! Trying to cross over for the bus was a nightmare. No good with kids I guess.

This was our first visit and definitely won't be our last! The warden is so friendly and waves every time he walks past. The site is lovely and clean and well maintained. The showers and toilets are clean and are kept clean which is great - and the whole place has a lovely atmosphere to it. Will be going back there - really enjoyed it! :)

3rd visit wont be the last. Little dave as he is affectionately know to us is one in a million, speaks to everyone in a friendly manner. Always helping people out. Site is always clean and tidy, stayed over the Easter weekend and never waited for showers or pot washing. Stratford is a great place to visit plenty to see and do

Just returned from a weekend at Dodwell park and I must say I was very impressed. Upon arrival the wardens were very friendly and showed us to our pitch. The wardens pointed out where everything was etc.
The site was extremely clean and the pitch was great. There is a very slight slope but not an issue. The site is very queit and at night there was not a peep out of anyone (well except my snoring and my dogs occasional bark in her sleep (first time camping)).
There is a big field near the entrance to the park for ball games, walking dog etc and this was mowed etc and a nice place to chill during the day.
Only thing missing really was a park for the kids but our 8 year old went off and made friends with the other kids and had a great time
Overall we loved this site and are planning a return trip next month

Just returned from a fabulous weeks stay at Dodwell, our first visit but not our last. Arrival greeting very jovial and our hosts could not be more helpful and friendly. Site great for visiting the local area, clean and well kept. Local Indian restaurant great, good food and great atmosphere. Looking forward to a return visit very soon. Walking in the area very interesting, but great, very dog friendly, all in all a great camp-site.

What a fantastic little gem! Lovely friendly wardens, who offered all kinds of help throughout our stay, including the offer of stronger tent pegs and help hitching our trailer. Toilets and showerblocks all clean, free and no waiting times! Shop on site covering most of the basics. Plenty of space between pitches, a nice quiet site. Would definitely return! Only drawback no pub within walking distance, but hey ho!

Great site, the warden was extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed for 4 nights, it was busy over a bank holiday, never the less not noisy. Handy on site shop which was well stocked. Loo block was clean, not the most modern but showers and everything cleaned and well maintained. Stratford Upon Avon is a couple of miles away. There is a take away restaurant nearby, which is within walking distance.

Hi all, Just come home from a 4 night break to Stratford upon Avon, Staying at Dodwell park campsite. We arrived Monday at 1 o'clock to two smiling faces in reception those being the owners asked us if we had a good trip etc, then they showed us to our pitch which was a good size slightly sloping but nothing to worry about. They told us where everything is toilets etc, fire bucket, local bus route. We found toilets showers very good even when site busy no probs having to wait. No problem with noise at night or children playing near tents, all in all a great little site with top wardens who always stopped and had a chat and couldn't be more helpful. Now places to visit we went into Stratford by bus no28 bus stop right outside site a great town spent all day there, Warwick
Castle very good but very expensive £30 per adult plus £6 pound parking on top bit cheeky me thinks?. A must is the falconry centre in Morton in marsh GL569AB not that we r bird lovers but a cracking day out with children or not thought we were only going to stay an hour or so but ended up staying 4 plus great displays etc. Any way enough of me babbling on a great tent site and a great location
