I would just like to say what a brilliant time we had here last year, there was 6 in our group ages 29, 27, 23, 6, 6 and 1. We all had a fantastic time, brilliant park, huge, but all the more fun for it, only thing I would say this park needed is a bigger entertainment hall, it deserves one for the sheer size of the park, and because that was the best bit of our holiday, they catered for all ages, from 1-100, kids had excellent time. Shop was well stocked, and priced as you would expect on a park, chip was great, lovely food! there was also a little kebad house type thing at the top of the park near the road open until late at night, ate there too, lovely also! we didnt have transport, but with the fair and so much fun on the park, it really didnt matter to us, beach was great, the kids had so much fun. Carvan, was lovely and clean, and big enough for all the kids to run about and play, with small garden fenced off, good to chuck them out into when the adults are getting ready , felt safe enough for them to wonder a little (i do mean a little too, just because of the size of park), us adults got lost many of times trying to get back to the caravan, lots of fun here and would recommend to everyone, great for kids and great for adults, if ive missed anything (the pool included) its because I have no complaints, just wished we had booked for this year (we went somehwhere else and had an awful time)! will be there next year though!

Pretty much the same as other reviews. Good site, friendly and helpful wardens. Pitch was a good size. Almost got flooded out and two pitches behind us were. The caravan was able to move to another pitch and the tenters were re-homed in a caravan. It was very windy so be careful when you pitch. Facilities were good and clean. OH did say one shower was dirty but it was just before cleaning time. I always found them spotless. It had four good size family bathrooms with toilet, changing table and bath, they are kept locked with a £2 deposit for a key required. They were left open when we arrived but somebody ruined it by leaving a mess so the wardens had to lock them again. We had one very unsociable tent next to us that offended everyone around ( at 4 in the morning) but they were asked to leave early the next day and were watched by the wardens until they left. They will be barred but nothing the site could have stopped. Shop good and reasonably priced. Thought the Take Out was a bit pricey though. All cash machines I found on and off site charged :(. Play area had a good mixture of things for the kids to play on. It looked a bit worn but not important really. Club was smoky but entertainment good (same as anywhere else really). Somerstars were friendly and cheerful even though we were told by a regular how homesick they were you would never have guessed. We used the morning club a few times which entertained the kids for an hour or so. There were two evening entertainment venues to chose from (RJs on site and The Tavern by the Theme Park) and a third at the weekend (Dickie's next to the Tavern) that will be all week in peak season. Didn't go but also heard of a venue called Seagulls just down the round which provides family entertainment. There were daily markets/car boots in the area. RJs do say they don't accept pushchairs but this was ignored by most. I think they are more strict at busier times. The seating is tight so it is hard to manoeuvre a pushchair. My kids are too old now so it didn't bother us but I did think how would we have coped two years or more ago. The beach had nice sand and sand dunes but didn't allow our kids near the sea due to the mud flats. They didn't seem to mind though. Its a two minute walk (straight across from the entrance) to the beach but if you turn right out of the gate and then the next left you can park on the beach all day (even if you leave and come back) for £2.50. There wasn't any thing on the beach so you would need to travel further down for shops etc. I was told there were pony rides further down. There were toilets though via the car park entrance. Brean Sands Theme Park next door with a good pool ( free session in pool every day). The fair was a bit expensive but we used our Tesco vouchers so no real cost. The staff kept the fair really clean and rarely any queues and they were tiny. I can tell the kids liked this the most as they have drawn several fair pictures and set one up in the garden. Will be adding this site to the list to visit again. Look for the deals they do we got EHU for £9 a night and they also did a great deal for the over 50's. Site is huge so we were lazy and drove around alot although not to the toilet block. Better weather may have persuaded me to walk more!

I can echo the previous reviews about this being a good park. We stayed in Yellow Field on Pitch T3. Were very impressed by the size of the pitches, which were enormous - although evidently not big enough for the group of noisy, beer swilling chavs who set up a huge tent opposite. Tent was fine on the pitch, but they then set out wind breaks to claim more land, then put two cars on the front and then started setting up a folding caravan next to their tent - which was parked entirely on the pitch next to theirs. Not sure if the people on that pitch told them that they were encroaching on their space or if the warden told them that they couldn't have so much crammed on to one pitch, but the folding caravan was subsequently packed up and stored behind the tent. The wardens were great and really helpful in locating us near to the toilets due to my disability. However I do have some criticism of the toilet facilities for Disabled, as they were within the ladies or gents respectively, but only one cubicle in each. I was using a mobility scooter, and had to negotiate a tight turn from the narrow pavement outside to get into the block initially, then push the spring loaded door to get into the ladies. Once in there, I had to use my Radar key to open the toilet cubicle, drive in, then try and pull the door shut behind me. At this point, I discovered that the door didn't close unless I twisted round (very painful for me) to once again insert my Radar key to turn the lock to allow the door to close. THEN I had to slide the bolt across to stop anyone else with a key openin git from the outside while I was in there - what a performance ! There was a toilet, shower, grab rails, sink, mirror in there, but no hand dryer, no paper towels and no rubbish or sanitary bins. In the event of a disabled person having a fall whilst in the cubicle, it would be very difficult to get to them to help because of the rather silly idea of having to use the key and bolt to lock the door from the inside. Once finished, you had you do the whole performance in reverse, but in trying to back my scooter out, I almost knocked someone in the face with the opening door which swung back quicker than I could manouvre to catch it. After locking the door again from the outside, I then I had to try and negotiate the spring loaded door of the ladies to get out again. I decided that it was too much of a performance and ended up using the loo in our own van for the rest of the week. When you arrive on site, you are given vehicle passes with the registration no of your vehicle on. There are barriers at the entrance and you insert the pass to raise the barrier, so anyone who does not have a pass can not get into the park. Two pitches share one post for electricity, water and drain for waste water. Elsan point at the toilet blocks. Designated dog walk, where owners are requested to clear up after their dog - shame the same is not asked of horse owners, as the path was strewn with horse manure, and I could not drive along the path in my scooter without going through it, so I gave up. Pitches were easy to hammer in tent pegs and wind breaks. We ended up putting a wind break up outside our awning simply to stop people cutting across our pitch to get to the toilets, as every time they did so, they ran past making a noise which started our dog barking. Had to call the security one night, as the chav group opposite were blaring out music and shouting and making a hell of a racket well gone 1.30am. This was the second night on the trot and they had a car stereo going at full pelt - with windows wide open - which had curtains twitching in all the nearby vans and tents. Security were there within 5 mins and told them to cut it out or leave. After that they were quiet (fortunately). We ate in the cafe on site and had food from the take away, all very nice and reasonably priced. Large site, lots to do, and other than the one bunch of chavs, was a lovely place to stay. Would certainly go back. Marks 8 out of 10.

Spent 12 nights here over the whit-sun holidays. The park is fantastic, we stayed on the yellow field close to the shower and toilet block. Which was one of the best we have been to, under floor heating, full shower rooms with everything in one place toilet, shower, wash basin, mirror, pegs to hang your cloths and a changing area to keep everything dry. The pitches are very big with loads of room for our van, awning, annex, the shogun and still plenty of room for the swingball etc. The site has a good pool with 4 slides, jacuzzi and bathing area outside for the summer. There is a good shop selling more or less all you will need and some caravan spares and not too badly priced. The club was quite good if a little smokey (But this will be sorted come the ban in July). The only down side to the club was that you are not allowed to take a pram / buggy into the club, they are to be left in an area by the door. Which can be a bit of a pain when trying to get a 22 month old off to sleep so you can enjoy your night out. There is also a good chippy selling all sorts from kebabs to normal fish and chips. There is a land train which takes you around the site in the evening and drops you off all over the park either at the fair, chippy, clubs and all of the camping fields. The warden is also friendly and helpful. The beach is a short walk away too. Not much to complain about really only the weather which after Easter was a bit disappointing, But that's not their fault . All together a very nice place to go and would definitely go again and would recommend it to others.

This is the third time we will stay at Unity Farm in June (over 50's week). What a wonderful site it is. The facilities are very clean and well maintained and the pitch size is the largest we have seen in three years of caravanning. There is also a wide variety of entertainment. This is a hard site to beat.

Stayed for 2 nights just after Easter 2007. We stayed on the green field which was nice and close to the toilet block, which were heated and plenty of room in the showers. There was a free train to the leisure park which ran every 30mis in the evening only, it was an adventure just going on the train! We didnt go to the entertainment but there seemed lots going on. There are weekly car boot/markets at the leisure park so stuff to keep you busy at the weekend. One issue was that the bins by the washing up area were not emptied the whole time we were there which could attract pests and that you had to give the warden £1 deposit for a plug each time you wanted to wash up! make sure you take a washing u bowl! I imagine it would be packed in the school holidays.

Park was quiet and not fully up and running but that made it more of a personal experience. My 4 year old enjoyed the clubs and the funstars were just getting it together. ALL staff were great but despite the empty park you were still not allowed to book in early, shame.
We usually camp at this site so a van was a nice change. It was spotless, of an excellent standard and well stocked with equipment. We will be going back later this year.

I was quite apprehensive about staying on such a large site but decided that the extra facilities would be a bonus if the weather was bad. As it turned out the weather was fantastic so we didn't use all the facilities. However we had a fab holiday. We stayed for six nights and I don't think there was one thing to grumble about - obviously such nice weather helps! It was a very friendly site, great for the kids and felt safe despite its size. The park was great for kids of all ages - mini climbing wall, swings, slides etc small football pitch and basket ball court which were all very well maintained. There is a small indoor pool and slide which we didn't use. We did go to the fair, £15 for unlimited ride wristbands. We went with the kids in the morning and in the afternoon we felt okay about them going alone while we sat in the pub garden at the entrance. Aren't mobile phones brilliant. We only went to the Entertainment one night but the kids thoroughly enjoyed it. The beach is just over the road from the site and was great for early morning dog walks to blow the cobwebs away. The shower block is warm and clean but the pressure in the showers could be better. Oh well you can't have everything! We will definitely return to this area and most likely to the same site.

Excellent site. Wonderfully clean, even my fussy wife was happy to shower in the blocks. We stayed in the green area, hard standing for free! Free for first visits and we will be going again. Near to a good sized children's playground. Free entry to the swimming pool in the nearby fair. Great fun fair next door, not cheap but not bad for children aged between 3-16. Shame mine is 2 but she still wanted to go on everything! Will highly recommend it. Puts Butlins to shame, really is as clean a place as ever been. Easy to get to and 2mins from Burnham On Sea. I sound like a rep for the place but just very impressed and if u r thinking of going somerset way, go here.
