Easter week end visit
I have been to unity loads time but this is the first time with a review. I think this is a great site good size pitches and well set out.
The shower block is always good and clean with plenty of room and hot water. The club house is good with always something for everyone and the beer not to dear!
There plenty to do all with in walking distance on and off the site fun fair, swimming pool, car boot golf, pub, shops, fishing and a beach.
Have been loads times to this site and will hopefully go back loads more times

Spent 4 nights here (special midweek deal after the Easter break at £90 for pitch with EHU and 4 of us, which I felt was good value for money).
This site is huge, really big and the pitches are big too. Ours had EHU, drain for grey water and a water tap. We were on hardstanding which was a concrete base for the van with a mesh under the grass area adjacent to it for the awning.
Efficient booking in, friendly, helpful wardens (we were on yellow field) and large wash blocks with individual bathrooms, underfloor heating and piped music. However, the floors were not always that clean and there was no mop/bucket available.
RJs club provides entertainment for the kids and after about 9. 30, something for the adults. Didn't think much to the female vocalist on our first evening out and were disappointed to note that the resident band who were there on a previous visit were nowhere in sight. We found drinks and food in here to be expensive and made the journey into Burnham to eat out. Would recommend Wetherspoons on the seafront at Burnham for good service and well priced pub grub. There is also an Indian takeaway just down the road from Unity (opposite the amusements). The food was excellent.
We preferred the Tavern down the road for the quality of the entertainment provided while we were there.
Had a day out on the 'new' pier at Weston-Super-Mare which was great, and a shopping trip to Street at the Clarks Village which we enjoyed (parking is a nightmare though - really busy, even midweek).
This is a large, typical seaside resort with 3 touring fields and lots of static vans which seem to go on for miles. Despite this, it was peaceful on our pitch and quiet at night. For a short break ideal for us and we would definitely return.

We stayed for the Country Music Festival (midweek) when the entire area is taken over by cowboy/western events.
Called in on the way back from another trip to enquire about staying for that week and efficient receptionist volunteered information that there was a half-price deal for booking 5+ nights at least 2 weeks in advance, which we did.
On arrival, reception completed our paperwork, including supplying a gate opening card and showed us on the supplied map where to meet the field warden who offered us a choice from the vacant pitches. Very friendly & helpful wardens. There is a large population of ducks who are very willing to help you dispose of stale bread.
We had a large concreted hardstanding pitch with water and EHU. Motorhome drive-over waste dump was next to the Elsan point.
Toilet block was clean and the showers free.
We didn't use the pool or the on-site entertainment as our interest lay in The Tavern on the associated Brean Leisure Park, where there is also a funfair and a weekly market in summer.
The site also has a Costcutter store and cafe and takeaway.
We did benefit from some excellent weather and will probably return here for CM week in years to come.
This is a large site and the train running from 6pm to The Tavern in Brean Leisure Park is a great idea.

I stayed at this site with my wife in our van for a one night stay, it was a huge site and you get taken to your pitch by the field warden.
The site is massive and there is a train to take you from your pitch into the Choice of entertainment Venues.
Entertainment was good and the bar prices not too steep, so overall I would say it is worth a visit.
We paid £20 for a one night stay which I feel was a little high, we had electric. The time to leave your pitch is 10am which again is a little early as I am not an early riser.
The site warden has a electric buggy so they can get around their field which they did by banging on the side of my van to get us up at 09. 58, we were told we can go to reception and pay for a late stay if we want.

Just back from a week at unity what a great site it is loved everything although the walk from green field to reception etc was a fair way. Where to start
We went in tent, with son n daughter in law and granddaughter who is 4 who were in caravan, but we were next to each other which was great. Loads of space on pitches never seen any as big with electric and water. Children entertainment was great food in club was quick and always good and not over expensive. The park was great granddaughter loved it
The train after 6 is a good idea but maybe it could be used all day. The wardens are so helpful nothing to much trouble for them.
Toilets n showers always had hot water and were always clean and tidy.
All in all a brilliant site we hope to be back next year. The beach wasn't to far away once you got to main road and toilets and cafe close by.
Lots of other sites n bars etc further up road.

This Holiday camp is great we camped here in July for 1 wk & wished we'd booked for longer.
The toilet blocks & showers are kept reasonably clean, there was always hot water & didn't have to cue for showers, but could have done with some closed in wash basins as they didn't have any. This would be useful for quickness & more discrete.
The entertainment for the kids in the morning & evening was excellent and the train in the evening was most useful & kids loved it! I was a little disappointed that we had to pay for the swimming pool £12 for 4 of us age 6 & 3, so we only went once. I would recommend driving round to the pool if your in green or brown field as its a long walk for little ones.
Theme park is also good, but wrist bands are £9. 99 each for under 1. 4m above that height its £20 each so expensive if you have lots of children! Will definitely consider coming here again next yr. Close to beaches & Morrisons.

We stayed here for two nights over a weekend at the end of August in a ten man tent.
GOOD points:
The children's play area was a good size with things to do for kids of all ages.
The wardens seemed switched on and came and made sure everyone had their tents in the right places etc.
The staff were friendly on arrival and gave useful info regarding the site.
The shop on site had everything and wasn't as expensive as some can be.
The swimming complex over the road was just about reasonably priced with the campsite discount and my daughter enjoyed it. There was also a wimpy restaurant and a bar over near the pool.
There is a train that rides around the campsite and takes people to and from the bar complex on the evening which was handy and free.
BAD points:
For the two nights and three days we were there it did not appear that the toilet block was cleaned once. Although it wasn't filthy, it was below what I would consider clean enough. That includes the floors and the toilets themselves.
We paid an additional £15 per night as we had a large tent, fair enough, however we were squeezed onto an end pitch that was not any larger than any other pitch in the vicinity. We did just about have enough room but thought for an extra £30 (which is a lot when your camping) we would of got something a little roomier!
There was a bar/entertainment complex on the site however, this did not open until 6pm. I found this a bit strange as we, as would of lots of other people I imagine, would of happily used it for lunch and drinks during the day but instead had to trek over the road and use the facilities nearby at the leisure pool site.
All in all this wasn't a bad site.
There is a site very nearby that we visited in June which is leaps and bounds ahead of this one in every aspect.
So would I come here again? I'm afraid not.

Stayed Monday - Friday in the first week of school holidays. It is a large site with other sites adjacent but not particularly tacky or low class.
Efficient check in - info pack given with map. Site is divided into fields each one more suited to different types of campers - green field seems the best for young families. Large playground with lots of equipment nearby. Shower block had plenty of toilets, showers and basins. The block was modern and clean. Always hot water in the showers and supeerb large cubicles each with a seat and plenty of hooks. Heart FM piped in too. No hair dryers but sockets available. Blocks are not closed for cleaning.
It is a good walk to the entertainment. A land train does run from 6pm. If you do want to drive to to the fair or pool on the Brean site parking is pay and display. We drove to the ' walk through' and left the car on Unity side as there is a bit of parking there. DO take your passes and get your discounts. The newly built splash pool was £12. 50 for all 4 of us for 3 hours. Construction was still going on. There are indoor and outdoor pools and splash play and slide but didn't see a toddler pool.
The fair is good fun for 2 - 3 hours. You pay by token or by wristband. Tokens are 50p each. Wristbands are 19. 99 for anyone over 1. 4 meres and 9. 99 for toddlers but you get a small discount with your pass. Be aware that wristbands do not allow access to all the rides so you will probably need to buy tokens too. You can get a voucher with your pass to get 24 tokens for a tenner. There are leaflets and boards explaining what is included and who can ride on what so do take time to check that out before buying. Our son is 5 and he found most of the rides he could have on the toddler band too tame. Be aware again that day wristbands expire at 5pm. The fair was clean and tidy and the rides well supervised.
Lovely beach nearby, again a good walk but doable. We got Dad to drop us off a bit nearer whilst he went fishing which was easier.
There is a choice of bars and entertainment. We only went one night when we had a steak and chips in RJs but the service was prompt even on a busy night and the food nicely cooked and hot. Prices were comparable with other venues. Didn't really see any entertainment apart from a bit for the kids but it seemed ok. Costcutter shop on site ok but we drove to Morrisons in Burnham to get the shopping and a potter around. Overall a pleasant stay at a good clean and efficient site.

Had a brilliant yet very wet weeks holiday at this site with 2 children age 10 and 3.
There was always something to do and the facilities were excellent.
If you like horse riding, it is brilliant as well as not too expensive.
The pitch size was excellent with plenty of room.
The evenings entertainment was first class.
The only grumble I've got was on the Saturday night - site got very busy with lots of noisy campers around us>
Generally we had a fab time. The staff and site were first class.

Just got back from a fab 4 days at Unity on the Green Field
Thoroughly recommend this site for it's family friendly feel, great customer service, facilities and cleanliness.
The Field Wardens are so helpful showing you to your pitch via Golf Buggies, very informative and friendly.
It's a large site with lovely flat well tended grass pitches
There is an entertainment venue, good site shop and spotless shower/toilet blocks
Whilst we stayed we visited the next door water slides and theme park, Weston Super Mare, Brean Sands and Burnham on Sea. There is so much to do in the local area we are definitely going to book a week next year as we were so impressed with the campsite
Just gutted we had to come home !
