Very large safe camp site, very good facilities, well thought out.
Can only comment on facilities that we used, toilets and showers were very clean with lots of hot water I showered very early during our stay due to having a 7 month old baby ( buggy fitted in cubicle with me!) and was impressed with the early cleaning regime, very thorough, can get a bit grubby after the rush though so make sure you get there early.
In a cubicle you have a shower ( wet room style ) sink, toilet and small seat with hanging area above, plenty of room if you cart lots if toiletries in like I do. You can also have a bath cubicle (includes all of the above) but you need to Hire a plug from one of the wardens.
There is also the option of a family bathroom but cannot comment as we did not use. Washing up facilities, bins and supermarket are top grade, cafe was a very greasy spoon but great if you like that sort of place. Joined to the amusement park which is very loud but perfect for entertaining children.
Security and organisation is good, wardens are situated in a wooden hut outside the toilets, they all seemed nice & friendly. There are lots of static caravans there, mobile homes/camper vans and then all size tents.
Our stay in our tent was quite noisy on the fri and sat night, sunday night was slightly quieter, Take your ear plugs if this may bother you. We had electric hook up, there is also a water tap just next to the plug which was very handy. Within easy walking distance of the beach and brean cafes, pubs and shops. If Brean is your thing then this campsite is perfect.

We visited straight after the bank holiday so I expected the site to look a bit the worse for wear but far from it.
We stayed on the Brown field - which did look as though the shower block was new
Efficient book in
Showers very clean
We had loads of space as most appeared to go home on Mon 2nd May
Very large site but lots of different fields. We did get a bit lost when we came back on site via a different entrance !
There is a pub on the opposite side to the site about half way between main entrance and fair entrance which did good food.
It is a good walk from the Brown field - to the entertainment venue near the fair - but I think there was a mini bus at night to take you ( and bring you back)
Because the site was large and had lots of things on it I was expecting to be a bit 'chavvy and noisy but it wasn't. No noise once we went to bed. Friendly shop on site. Bus opposite site to go to Weston Super Mare £7 return each

Stayed last minute for 2 nights bank holiday weekend. Cost was a little expensive for the two nights £70 but we had electric hook up which was a life saver with the weather and entertainment included but only used once!
Play area great for the children and they loved RJ's - annoying that the bars don't accept card payments!
stayed with another family and we both had two children aged between 5 and 7! they were able to allocate us a pitch next to each other which was great. Toilets were very clean and there were plenty in each toilet block. The wardens were lovely and were always willing to help.
Very close to the beach and the fair and there were walks near by.

A fantastic site even on arrival the reception area is nice. It is a large site but certainly doesn't feel too big as there are 3 touring areas. Our grass pitch was large and level and we received a warm welcome from the wardens who show you to your pitch. The shower blocks are pristine, look newly fitted and I loved having the radio playing in there too.
There was a huge, well equipped children's play area near by which my 6 and 7 year old boys loved. Unfortunately the new swimming pool that is being built on site wasn't finished when we visited but the existing pool was warm and functional, and we enjoyed the slide. The pleasure park area is a large funfair which is a little pricey if you all want to go on rides but you can buy unlimited ride wristbands.
The evening entertainment venue is also lovely, and we really enjoyed the family entertainment. As a bonus there is a free minibus which goes round the campsite all evening to take you from the touring field to the entertainment to save you a walk.
The surrounding area has loads of places to visit, I would suggest if you go to Wookey Hole purchase some Tesco Days out Vouchers before hand to use as it is £49 for a family ticket.
We would definitely like to return to this site, especially when the new swimming pool is complete.

Excellent campsite - we camped here over the May Day bank holiday weekend and following week.
(I'm writing this from my tent in the brown field on my laptop with O2 3G dongle)
During this time it went from almost full on the BH weekend to about half a dozen units on brown field on the Monday night, and the facilities were always clean and not too crowded.
We camped in the brown field - which I would recommend if you have a tent - it is smaller than the other fields and you don't feel like you are lost in a sea of caravans and Campers like the other fields!
Good points:
- (mostly) fairly large marked pitches - and the wardens allow you to choose between available pitches when you arrive.
- Very clean and warm facilities blocks - I have never had to queue for a shower, sink or loo - even on the Bank Holiday
- Excellent location for the beach
- Onsite costcutter may save a trip to the supermarkets at weston
- Takeaway food excellent (at least at the chinese I tried)
- Good facilities - playground, arcade, pools (better when the upgrade is complete by 2012), fairground, market and the usual seaside stuff along the coast road
- Very organised check-in
- Secure site - pedestrian gates locked at dusk,
car barrier controlled by ticket
It can be a little windy at times - though nothing like half as bad as some other sites I've been on!
Internet access is only available around the tavern by the amusement park, and though you can 'see' other sites wireless from the camping areas I was unable to connect as the signal was weak - but my O2 PAYG broadband dongle got OK signal. (As does my Vodaphone mobile)
I would recommend this campsite and will be back!

Stayed here in the school holidays so expected it to be busy, which it was but the site is HUGE so well spread out. The pitches were a reasonable size for our tourer and full awning and enough room for the car at the front.
Childrens play area was a good size and if our weather had been better would probably spent mor e time here.
The toilet facilities were always very clean and had music playing which was a nice touch and the cubicles were massive the biggest I have ever seen!
Because the site is so spread out it took us a few days to get our bearings. The site entertainment is in 2 areas, the one on the site doesn't accept pushchairs which caused us a bit of a problem with our 8 month old daughter so we chose to drive there (once and used a highchair) as there is a facility to leave the pushchair outside but I did not feel comfortable with this.
The other option is the train which travels round the whole site and is free.
The entertainment itself seemed ok, the boys were entertained by the Piglets!
The swimming complex is some distance away from the touring park and didn't look very appealing but they are building a new complex.
The Leisure Park had some rides but this was more like a travelling fair and a bit tatty for the prices they were charging.
On site fish and chips were ok (huge portions) and the chinese takeaway recommended. We didn't eat in the complex but looked very nice.
The beach across the road is lovely and only a short walk.
Overall the site was ok, 1st appearances are disappointing and it wasn't the cleanest site (quite a lot of litter about).
Weston Supermare is lovely and has an excellent park with a water play area for the kids.
Burnham on Sea itself is very nice also.

We have just had 5 nights at this site. First of all I have to say we were very impressed with this site and the friendly helpful staff. The pitches are a very good size. We have a motorhome with awning, we also have a small car that we tow, there was plenty of room on the pitch for all. The pitches also include your hook, fresh water and water waste drain.
Very impressed with the toilet/shower block. It seemed every time I went in there, someone was cleaning, so it was always extremely clean, as was the indoor area for washing your pots. There is a laundry room too, but can't comment on that as I never used it.
There is a costcutter supermarket on site, again very clean, well stocked, and has friendly helpful staff.
From the site we travelled to Burnham-on-sea and Weston-Super-Mare, both not too far away and easy to get too. We also visted Cheddar Gorge, which again was probably only a half hour away, and well worth the visit.
Would we stay there again, yes, most certainly!

Stayed on this site for a week.
This site is great for kids, so much for them to do, pool with 4 slides, funfair, golf course. In the evenings there are 2 clubs which put on things for kids, the largest (RJ's) has the pigs and entertainment for kids until about 9-10, and the smaller one (berties) until 1030. Personally I preferred berties only reason being is that RJ's was really loud and I think excessively, they could turn it down a lot and still be loud enough to hear what was going on.
The children spend very little time with you, and will be taking part in games with staff on stage and win prizes.
There is a smaller bar called berties which is just a bar, no loud music just somewhere for the adults to escape to.
Only complaint was that there was not enough staff taking the food orders, one night it took 30 mins just for me to place the order.
Later in the evening there is music for adults.
Afterwards, after too many of your favourite tipples there is a land train to take you back to your colour zone (try and time it so you get on the right time, or you will have a tour of the whole site)
There is also a market twice a week which sells many different items
For dog owners a nice long dog walk
Toilets and amenities are in good condition and clean, although the launderette could do with a touch up here and there
Just across the road is brean sands beach, big enough to play any games you want and loads of room for sandcastles and such.
The pitches are hard standing and others on grass, water and waste water disposal is within a few feet.
Weston-super-mare is 30 mins away and burham on sea 10mins
Highbridge caravans is 20 mins away for any spares requred while away, and they are reasonably priced as well.
At present they are building an Olympic size pool which should be open for 2011
This site is great for a family holiday away.

Well this was out first ever camping holiday, we bought a tiny 4 man tent, with my husband and 2 kids age 7 and 3 we thought we would see if them and us liked it.
Well to say we liked it was an understatement we loved it, we ended up stopping another night. We had stopped at unity farm 7 years ago in a caravan and there wasn't much there so we left a day earlier than we should have, but in the last 7 years it has come on fantastically.
Lots to do especially as brean sands leisure park is next door with the fun fair, market / car boot, pool which is being extended over the next few years, the beach is just over the road. There is lots of 'seaside' shops nearby for buckets and spades, also arcades, and there is a few clubs: the main one on unity farm is RJ's which is great but the only downside is you cant take pushchairs in (think this is just high season) and this became a pain when my little one was tired at 9pm !
So we opted for the clubs on the leisure park 'dixies' as they had a kids entertainer, served food, and you could take buggies in - result! Food was good value for money and the sunday carvery in the tavern was amazing. Loved it.
We are going back next year in our New bigger tent with stove and cooking facilities so wont be eating out all the time. All in all would definitely recommend this place to anyone it was great, everyone very helpful and friendly, wardens are lovely and reception staff.

Booked for 5 nights during school holidays cost £175 for a tent with 2 adults & 2 kids. Reception staff could have been more helpful - didn't give us a map of the site. Camped in the yellow field, wardens on their were great, showed us to our pitch which was a nice size, flat & had own water supply.
The site was huge, so big that it took us 3 days to find the kids playground ! Were very concerned about the speed of some of the cars whizzing round the site, felt I couldn't relax for fear of the kids being mown down. Showers were quite clean apart from 1st day when I went in & found poo smeared all over the floor & walls. The warden told me it was the 1st time it had happened
Food good on the complex, entertainment good for the little ones & kids enjoyed the pool. Beach OK, been to better & very, very windy.
Overall their was a lot to do here but don't think I will be in a rush to go back again.
