Excellent site to stay on, we had a great time here and it was quiet, stayed on the yellow field, was a bit windy at the time but we were still able to have a fantastic time, toilets were clean and tidy and wardens were friendly. I would highly recommend anyone visiting and staying at holiday resort unity as it has a lot to offer to a range of ages. Overall I will look forward to returning to the site and staying there.

Very large site, during our stay, weekends were very loud, during the week it was as I would have expected, the site has 3 areas for camping / caravanning, that make the site feel smaller, there is wardens on all the areas, I was very surprised how clean the toilet blocks were for such a large heavily used site, but credit to the wardens when they have a little free time out comes the mop and bucket, they are a credit to unity. The play area is great lots to do including ball games, water park and fun park are on the edge of the site in walking distance.
The children's entertainment was first class, both daytime and night,

This is a large site with lots of static caravans.
The site is very secure with a pass to get in or out of the park check in was a little slow as only one person manning reception when I arrived. Having checked in you are directed to the warden for your field.
We stayed on the Yellow field, this is a large touring field with a mix of concrete hard standing pitches and grassed pitches.
We had a grass pitch with hookup and water. The connection for the water was a little low to the ground so if you don't have a mains connection kit you may struggle.
The warden informed me I had to pitch with the hitch pointing towards the road, which meant the hookup and the water where too far away. Good job I have a long hookup cable and had to go our and buy an extension for the water connection. This also meant the beds were closer to the road than I would like.
The toilet block is clean, half of it locked up unless it is busy. Very surprised that they were locked on a Sunday morning of a bank holiday weekend.
Even though pets are allowed on site, non of the entertainment is pet friendly, only one of the bars has an outside seating area where you can take a pet, not much help when it is raining.
The on site Costcutter was reasonably priced and stocked.

Stopped at Resort Unity over the Easter weekend, 2 x adults 1 x 2 yr old and 1 dog, have been there loads times.
The good bits,
Its a easy place for us too get too, down the M5 and not fare when you leave the motorway. Checked in with ease and straight down to the green field and the warden showed us to our pitch. I asked if possible could we move too nearer to the dog walk gate and this was no problem. The field looked clean and fresh and despite leaving snow back home, the ground was good and dry. Used the take away next to the shop not the best but far from the worst, again the shop is ok well stocked and average priced for a camp site. The club house and entertainment is ok, food and drink not too bad priced. Didn't use the pool. Plenty too see and do in walking distance
The bad bits,
The Club House, you need to get in there when it opens if you want to sit down!
The sign on the gate for the dog walk said open from 8 till dusk, it was locked till nearly 10 on two mornings
And the next thing is something I noticed on my last stay was the dog poo bin, full and overflowing when we got there and still the same when we left, sort it out HRU ! We pay extra for our dogs and get moaned at if we don't pick up.
Will be staying there again in a few weeks.

Not the cheapest option but fantastic facilities for anyone with kids and spotlessly clean everywhere making it worth paying the premium. Good toilet blocks and spotless chemical point. Grass kept short and not waterlogged like lots of places in Somerset are prone to be.
Supermarket expensive but you pay for convenience.
Funfair okay but the best thing was the modern swimming pool.
Visited when the site was packed and unfortunately encountered a warden who was clearly under pressure - our bad luck I'm sure but an experience which like many caravanners means that for all the good points we wont be going back anytime soon.

This was our first time on this site as we normally stay at another site. However, I was very impressed and will defintitely be returning.
I left the husband at home and took the three kids with my friend and her two.
The warden was very friendly and was able to find us two pitches together, he was also able to offer advice about the facilities and the local ammenities. The wardens were very visible throughout our stay and maintained the site well.
The pitches were clean and well maintained and the drainage was quite good. The toilet facilities were excellent and I didn't have to queue despite the site being busy.
The playground was excellent although I was a little concerned about the lack of supervision of kids, although this is not the sites fault definitely the parents!
The prices in the shop were good and they did not overcharge although the prices in RJ's seemed quite expensive, but then I'm not used to going to the bar, that's normally the husband's job! We only went in once as the children wanted to go but we didn't stay all night. I don't normally use the on site clubs but we thought we'd try it out. It was popular and very busy and the entertainment was good except the singing pig which sounded like it was being tortured or we were, my 5 five year commented that he only liked pigs that didn't talk! He definitely wasn't impressed!
The swimming pool is brilliant and excellent discounts, I would advise to puchase advance tickets which work out at about 2. 50 per person. The fair is also good and offers discounts.
Customer service is excellent on not only the site but the pool and especially the fair and I have to say next time I visit Brean I will definitely be staying again gets a 10 out of 10 from me.
There is also loads to do in the local area eg Wooky Hole, Cheddar Gorge, Weston, tank museum

We have just returned from a great caravan holiday at Unity. Despite the size it is very well keot and fairly clean. With a site of this size you can't expect manicured lawns and spotless loos but it wasn't bad at all.
The wardens were ever present and vigilent in maintaining the facilities in a good state and escorting people to their pitches on arrival.
The pitches were huge and everyone had more than enough room. You woul have to go a long way to find a site with such large pitches.
I had to queue for the showers once but that was on the bank holiday weekend when the camp was full to capacity. The facilities were plentiful and about right for the size of camp.
The shower rooms were spacious and each contained a loo and a sink which was handy! The 80's radio was great too!
This site is excellent for families with the amusement arcade, playground and RJ's entertainment complex. The funfair and the leisure pool across the road were great for the kids.
You really cannot beat this location. The beach was on the doorstep and if the Unity facilities are not enough 'The Strip' provides even more amusements,
The site offered excellent value for money considering the facilities and we will definitely be back. A site that I would highly recommend for an affordable family break!

We chose 'Holiday Resort Unity' for a test run with our new Avante 646, our friend with their new Super Sirocco.
We had 2 grass pitches side by side in the 'Green Field'. Lovely spot - close to the impressive secure children's play area. Not noisy at all for being 2 minutes walk away.
Our pitch had EHU, grey water drain and water tap.
Toilets and shower blocks were very clean. The showers had plenty of room in each cubicle to wash and an area to dry / dress.
Other facilities on site are 'bike hire', small supermarket, cafe, fish & chip shop, Chinese take away and 'club'.
We had 2 x 2 year olds with us and didn't use RJ's club which seemed popular.
Each 'field' had Wardens who were both friendly and informative.
Only downside was the cost £82 each 'van' for 3 nights Wednesday to Friday (during Half-term)

This was our first ever trip camping! We borrowed everything from tent to stoves to see if we enjoyed camping prior to buying all the camping gear.
We were truly very pleased that we chose this campsite. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The toilet/ shower blocks were very clean aand really made for a positive experience for the novice camper. The children's facilities were great too.
There is a large play area for children which our 4 and 5 year olds loved and the entertainment complex a bonus!
The only negative was the price per night for the tent pitch but it was the Jubilee Weekend and in all honesty for our first camping experience it was worth the extra money.
Thoroughly recommend.

Just returned from a 5 night break. Planned on camping in our tent, but changed our plans and booked a static caravan last minute due to the weather. On arrival we were disappointed at how run down the site looked, but it was purely cosmetic, as the site's facilities were great even out of peak season.
The only negatives were the piglet entertainment was a little disappointing. In the morning's it lacked any structure or organisation (a bit of a free for all). The nightly entertainment was much improved with nightly bingo and piglet fun time followed by adult cabaret.
Criticism would be the piglet fun time should be before the bingo, as our 2 sleepy children found it hard to cope till 8. 30pm for it to start, with it finishing well after 9. 30 to 10. 00pm
Brean splash waterpark and the fun fair were good and easy to walk to, with discounts available for unity guests. 2 adults and 2 children under 4 at £5. 00 a session.
The restaurants are good, we sampled the Chinese (a little pricey) and the fish and chip shop (£22. 00 for 2 adults and 2 children). The costcutter on site was reasonably priced and well stocked for all your everyday needs.
Had an nosey around the camping fields while on site, we were pleasantly impressed, as we planned to camp originally. We would definitely return in the future to camp. The yellow field is vast and adjacent to the lake.
The Brown and green field seemed more suitable for families as they were smaller and close to the play area. Our little boy loved the playground, which was quite big and enclosed for safety.
All staff on site were friendly and helpful, the site is well maintained and clean.
We would return in the future to holiday again!
