What a brill place to go on holiday everything in one place. The club RJs is brilliant for all ages. Porkys has lovely food and reasonable the shop on site has everything you need. The swimming pool is lovely could be a bit bigger as the amount of people go there can get crammed. The shows are excellent for all ages. The shower blocks are clean you have got family shower rooms as well, handy for little ones. You have got 3 coloured fields for campers yellow and green for electric, brown for tents without electric. On peak times there is a train that comes a round and will take you to the clubs and shows and then picks you back up - last train 11.00pm Recommend to everybody.

I had a 4 night break in February on a fully serviced pitch for under 45 pounds the toilets were immaculate with privacy cubicles containing a shower a washbasin and a dressing area with large mirror, all behind a locked door(perfect for the shy or for children).there was a fair size clubhouse with evening entertainment and an adjoining bar for adults only, neither seemed to be overpriced.in season there is an adjoining fun park with 30 rides and also a swimming pool ,with 1 free session a day if you are staying on the park. There is also a shop and a takeaway if you do not fancy cooking. This site was recommended to me and I would recomend it to everyone,at least for an out of season break.

We've (2 adults and a 1 year old) just returned from a great weekend at this site. We didn't use the pool but it looked good. Lots of people have commented on the price of wristbands but it's worth noting that you can pay individually for rides and the charges seem average. The shops and bars seemed very reasonable for a resort. Altough we didn't feel we would want to stay in the club past the 1st hour due to it being so smokey. We stayed in the green field and thought pitches wereo quite large and well maintained. It is a large site but we enjoyed the walk and thought it was well planned with lots of play areas.

Just back from a seven night stay , and really enjoyed it. The campsite was recommended by friends of ours who had been twice. The toilet block was always spotless and the shower cubicles were brill they had the shower, toilet, sink and mirror with a changing area all in one cubicle, This is fantastic if like us you have a small child and are trying to shower them as well. We never had anything to eat on the site so cannot comment on the takeaways, however we used R.Js one of the pubs on site and this was reasonably price and kept the children happy dancing with buster and also had adult entertainment so everyone was catered for. We were on the yellow field and this is a large campsite so needed the pushchair for our 3yr old especially on an evening. The funfair is great and the wristband is good value for money and saved us a fortune. All in all the campsite was good value for money at only £85.00 for a week at the beginning of september for the three of us.I would return again

Huge site with a huge range of facilities to suit all ages. Eleven people in our party aged from three to forty something. Loads to see and do with no complaints at all.Very impressed with the fairground operators who monitored the reaction of children and stopped rides to let them off when necessary. We stayed on yellow field and although it was very busy we were not bothered by noise. Our field wardens were very helpful .On several occasions we went out at night and never found the venues to be overcrowded, our favourite being The Tavern at Brean Leisure. Children are not allowed unaccompanied on the dancefloor after 21.30 for all the obvious reasons. No rip off prices at this resort and staff are very customer focused. Lots to do and see off-site as well

Just back from a 5 night stay, 2nd visit. Pitched on yellow this time and you could hear the fair slightly during the day, but at night time it was quiet by 10 o clock. Kids aged 6 and 8 loved every minute. Entertainment fantastic 2 hours in a morning and over 2 hours every evening for the kids. The adult entertainment was also great. Horseriding was £6.00 per 30 minutes. The swimming pool is cramped, but the kids loved it, along with the fair, £17.99 seemed expensive, but they got 6 hours for that, and used every minute of it. Never having to wait longer than 5 minutes. Costcutter shop priced ok as was the pub in our opinion. Also a chip shop, takeaway and cafe, amusement room on site. Brean Leisure Park next door, had loads on too, the Scott May Stunt show was brilliant We found the showers great seperate cubicles with toilet, basin/mirror/seat and shower. 2 minutes from Brean beach and, 15 mins to Burnham on Sea and 25 to Weston. With the 2 hours swimming you get each day and all the entertainment on offer I think this is a fantastic value holiday.

Well, we have been visiting Unity for 5 years now during the summer season. This year was a disappointment. We were on Brown field which is one of the best areas, the wardens were great. The new reception is lovely but the staff aren't very polite or helpful when we were in there. We always go to Dickies in the evening to see the one and only Mr Mayhem only to find that you now had to pay £15 for a family ticket to see him in the Park! Though he was back in Dickies on the Friday. The funfair is very expensive but the kids just have to do it! You need plenty of money for Unity. The sites fees have gone through the roof with the facilties being offered no better. The whole place is just geared up to extract as much money as possible from you.

It has all been said already but I must add that the site is huge, huge, huge. Well maintained and laid out large pitches. Entertainment on site and a fun park (pricey) next door. Good pool. Great place for kids but take plenty of money. Staff friendly and helpful The only complaint I have is the time that you have to be off the pitch when leaving, 10 am, daft time when you have a large family tent and all your belongings to pack away. And not a place if you want a quiet peaceful break, our kids loved it

Arrived at 10am for our 5 night stay and checked in with no hitches, we were told to proceed to the Yellow field and go the the wardens caravan, we waited a short while for him to arrive, where he then showed us to our pitch. This site is huge and even though we were very close to the toilets / showers(not very clean) everything is very spaced out, so if you have a bike take it! The swimming pool is quite a walk and each person has a 2hour swim each day, the pool was packed which I found not very safe due to the sheer volume of people. Funfair wristbands were a whopping £17.99 for kids, £10 for smaller children, which I found a huge amount of cash. Overall I wouldn't go again as it is just so big and very expensive

This is a huge and very busy site. When you arrive you park in the entrance and must go in to reception to check-in. This is quite slow so you have to be patient! If you're travelling in a group you need the booking number, surname and postcode of the person who booked it in order to be allowed through. If Its good to leave your pass in the car, you can’t get in or out of the park without it! All pitches are marked out, and they're quite particular about where you park, and ensuring your tent stays within the marked pitch. If you want pitches together but haven’t arrived together, ask the wardens, they will try where possible to locate you where you’d prefer. The wardens were helpful and friendly though so no complaints there. The pitches have a water point between about 4 tents so that's convenient, and there are electric hook ups at quite a few pitches (though not much in the brown field) We were in the brown field, which is the furthest away from the main facilities such as the shop and quite a walk. So if you have a child under 2 a buggy is a must! All fields have showers, loos, laundrette and wash up areas. The laundrette is either £2.20 or £2.50 (can't remember which) and you need exact coins. The dryer is 20p for 6 mins, though £1.00 of 20p's will dry a full washing load including towels. Remember your washing tablets though as they don't sell these or powder in the laundrette (only in the shop). Some of the fields have proper shower blocks rather than porta-cabins, and they give more space to change and are warmer. You need your own hairdryer though and I think some needed a plug adapter. The shop, takeaway and laundrette all close at 8pm promptly, which is a bit of a pain, and open again at 8am. The takeaway is a chip shop, food is nice, but be warned the service is slow, if you're buying for a group your first couple of meals could be cold by the time the last ones are ready! The shop is well stocked and reasonably priced (e.g. £5.00 for a 6 pack of carling) however there are a couple of supermarkets in Burnham on Sea, and this is only about a 5-10 min drive. Take some change though as most car parks charge, even the supermarket ones. The play area is good, and is located virtually in the middle of the site. I felt we could have chosen to leave our children playing alone, most parents tend to keep an eye out for each others kids, and no-one was there that made me feel that would be unsafe. There is an inflatable soft play area, but this isn't open all the time and they neglected to put up a sign as to when it was, so you have to wing it. Be warned though its £1.00 for 2 minutes play.which is completely unreasonable. The leisure complex is off site, next to the fun fair. The lockers are £1 and not refundable. The changing area is small and showers not very warm. However the pools are a good temperature esp.the small one. Your passes entitle you to a free session. You can hire bikes and a variety of go-karts for the kids (£4 for half an hour) this closes at 5pm though. The beaches main entrance is about 50 yards down the road from the campsite, but I'd walk as you'd get charged for parking. There are loos and a place to buy drinks there. The tide is far out, and there is quick-sand near the shore, but there are signs up about this. My only real complaints are the land train and people driving too fast. The land-train is quite fast (given the number of people esp. children wandering about) is very noisy and doesn't stop until about midnight. There is entertainment and a bar, we didn't go, but I would imagine given the sheer number of people it would be very busy. Be warned there is little to do if the weather is not good, we arrived and pitched in the rain. In fairness the pitch wasn't waterlogged, but the site was pretty muddy for the couple of days afterwards, wellies were a must. The site was also very windy, possibly not all the time, but you definitely get the sea breeze! If you like simple, quiet, fairly unstructured campsites, then this one isn't for you, it’s more like a Pontins holiday park.
