Had a great stay, the site was clean, well kept and quiet. Shower block was cleaned three times a day. Not a lot for kids on site if you have young children.
The town was a short walk away and had loads to look at. A typical country town with lots of independent shops. If you have dogs we can recommend the Smoothie cafe for a snack visit food good and lovely staff. The George and Dragon pub makes you and your dogs welcome with good pub food on offer. Please visit Ryan & Son butchers, the meat and homemade dishes for you to heat at home are first class. I can recommend the pies as the best I have tasted. We had a great trip to the Wroxeter Vinyard (15 min drive).
The Attingham Park Estate (25 min drive)is well worth avisit. They have an amazing play area for kids and lots of beautiful walks and if you are lucky you can see deer running free. Weather permitting you could spend the day here easily. Would stay at site again.

Great little campsite, quite a quiet site with spotless facilities. A short stroll into the interesting little town of Much Wenlock which has one of the best butchers around and a few shops and pubs and interesting black & white buildings. Have visited this site on several occasions and will definitely return again. Wardens always friendly and helpful too. Probably more suited to couples as not much in the way of facilities for young families.

A wonderful find. The campsite is less than a five minute walk to the centre of Much Wenlock with easy road access to local attractions and towns and, whilst there is no shop on site, there is a local shop within easy walking range.
The setting is just outside the town and has a very rural feel, next to a farm and fields. The site is exceptionally quiet and, on a clear night, the view of the stars is incredible.
The owners/site managers are clearly very proud of their site and they take great care of the ground, which is kept to a very high standard.
The toilet/shower facilities are kept clean and there is no shortage of hot water. A fantastic campsite and one which I cannot recommend highly enough.

Paradise. I stayed Monday - Friday, to do some mountain biking which was successful.
The site is kept in immaculate condition, the grass being cut 3 times whilst I was there.
The toilet/shower block cleaned three times daily and plenty of hot water. Yes you do need a plug for the sinks but these are available at the hardware shop in Wenlock, which is within easy walkikng distance.
The only noise on the site came from the screeching of the resident buzzards and at dusk when the rooks came home to roost.
A lovely clean kitchen area is available for pot washing, there is a small freezer at the wardens hut for storing freezer blocks and there is a fair selection of books to read.
Loads to do and see in the area.
Lots of choice of pubs in Wenlock, shopkeepers friendly.
Nisa at the garage past The Gaskill have a larger range of groceries than Spar and are slightly cheaper too.
This site is well worth a second visit.

Just back from this site and got to say its the best we've been to. The town is about 10 mins walk with kids and puppy. Great playground just outside site off main road, kept kids going for a while. The pitch was huge for a campervan as its big enough for a caravan, car and awning. We were lucky as we were allowed to cover 2 pitches as nobody was booked next to us while we were there but make sure you have long lead for EHU but if you forget the warden will lend you an extension for free. Showers were hot and no problems getting in to have one and washing facilities were spot on.
At the bottom corner of the site was a gate leading to many footpaths leading to many adventures.
The town was really quaint and lots of history, we went to the priory which was good and the smoothie shop on the square do double decker milkshakes!
We will be going to this site again.

We stayed here for a week nand enjoyed it a lot. We had a very flat pitch (most of the site has been terraced) and you won't get stuck in the mud if it rains, because there is a gravel road running round the site.
The flattest tent pitches seem to be those without EHU. The toilets and showers (included in the price) are kept clean and I only had to queue once. The grass is manicured daily by the two wardens. The site was also quiet at night.
There is no shop but there is a freezer for ice blocks and a swap library for books.
Only downsides: it's a long walk to get rid of rubbish if you're at the top of the site, and the showers don't have any controls except a button which must be pressed every 15 seconds or so.
There are lots of local attractions and you can easily spend a day in Much Wenlock. There is a good-sized Spar there, and Telford Sainsbury's is about 20 minutes away by car.

Just back from a good week on this site. It is laid out on tiers, so everyone has good views. The loos and showers (3 of each in both the ladies and gents block) were kept very clean and tidy and always plenty of hot water. The showers were push button ones, which need pushing frequently, (a little longer between pushes would have been nice!)
The town is only 5 minutes walk away and has plenty of shops, including a Spar and a great butcher (we had a yummy Lasagne from there) and a hardware shop.
Very handy site for visiting Ironbridge. We enjoyed cycling most days, although it is quite hilly nearby!

Stayed here on our way to Wales. prebooked for one night, with our roof tent and our son in the ground tent,
busy site, amenities clean and serviceable, although the site was not full there was a queue to use the showers in the morning.
The pitch we were on was sloping but not too badly, you cant choose your own pitch but are told where to set up.
Village is a fifteen to twenty minute walk where there a small assortment of pubs and shops.

We stayed here for a weekend in July whilst the site was very busy. We have stayed before on this site when it was less busy and really enjoyed our stay, this time however it was not so good.
A group of several families arrived in tents with a multitude of children between them and pitched up very close to us. No attempt was made by the parents to stop their children invading other peoples space and indeed the parents themselves sat up talking and drinking until 3pm in the morning with no regard what so ever for those trying to sleep around them. We didn't complain to the wardens until the end of our stay which was stupid of us as when we did tell them we were assured that they would have done something to control the noise.
The wardens/owners are great and really helpful and I have no complaint about them at all. The toilets/shower block are immaculately clean and well maintained and the site is within easy walking distance of Much Wenlock which is a lovely town. We would come again but maybe at a less busy time of the year.

We have just returned from this fantastic site where we spent the weekend with friends. The site is very well kept, with the showers and toilets very clean. The layout of the site is good and the view is idyllic.
We had small children who loved playing on the site and in a nearby shallow stream. The walk into Much Wenlock via the woodland path was only a few minutes, and again the children loved the woods, and the town itself.
The small landscaped areas of the site add a nice touch and the staff were very helpful.
All in all we could not fault this fabulous site.
