We had not been camping for 20 yrs, we had a weekend
At this site camping and found it brilliant. We had a week in June had a brilliant time again. The views are great and many local walks from the site. The site was very clean and tidy, including toilets showers and washing up room.
The wardens Barry and Lizzy were very friendly and helpful.
We are going back in August for 2 weeks and cannot wait.

A 2 night break turned in to 3 this site is so good!
Firstly booking this site online is really good. You get quick responses which I value a lot.
We booked the Thursday to the Saturday on the Bank Holiday, when we arrived we were shown to our plot which was on the top tier. Practically 100% level and with a breath taking view of the countryside.
The ground was soft and the tent pegged easily. The whole site is beautifully kept and the facilities are spotlessly clean any time of the day we used them. Free hot shows and washing area was also immaculate.
In fact we liked this site so much my husband booked us an extra night. The walk in to Much Wenlock is pleasent. The only noise that might disturb you is the crows but if wildlife bothers you I don't suggest a campsite in the countryside wise. Only thing I missed was a plug in the toilets/showers for my straighteners (vain I know).
Much Wenlock is such a lovely village/town. We visited the Priory and would recommend it. The Audio commentary is really good fun. It costs £4.00 each. The museum is the high street is free and worth a potter around. Ryans the butchers is a must. We had a BBQ and the speciality burgers and sausages are a must. Be prepared to queue though, its that popular!
The pubs - My fav topic. We drank in all the pubs and would recommend the George & Dragon. In the week they do 2 mains Lunches for £10 - the faggots are brilliant (and from Ryan's the butchers over the road).
The Tablot is good for any sport that might be on the TV (we watched the England game with other people from the site).

We have just come back from a 4 night camping trip with close family.
The site is very tidy, small and quiet. There are 3 showers/toilets in each block with disabled toilet availability. Cleaned 3 times a day.
Dogs are welcome on a lead at all times but there is plenty of walks nearby. Children can play freely on the site, and in the evening people respect there neighbours.
Liz & Barry are very friendly and are very helpful although we had a electric hook up they lent us extra cable to reach the hook up with no extra charge.
Local pubs were quite nice but a bit pricey specially for the kids. Within walking distance 10 mins max.

We have just had 3 nights on this site and had a good time. We arrived at 11:00am and Barry showed us our pitch. It is fairly flat and well kept.
The site was fairly full but never had a problem getting a shower. The toilets and showers are very clean lots of hot water anytime of day. There is a washing up area covered in, also lots of hot water. They provided washing up liquid and clothes but we used are own.
It is a short walk into Much Wenlock which is a lovley little place. There is a good choice of pubs with good food.
We took our 5 year old grandson who would have liked a play area but we played games to keep him happy.

Spent a few days here at Sytche and enjoyed it very much.
Location is a 10 min walk from Much Wenlock.
Walk down the gravel road, turn right by the 2nd house on public footpath and arrive just off Much Wenlock high street.
The site is very clean, facilities are spotless and the people who wun it are very nice, with Barry being very chatty.
A nice peaceful spot, the site is immaculate and well kept, the only annoying thing being the bird scarer in a nearby field going off now and then and scaring our timid dog.
Much Wenlock itself is nice, locals are pleasant and there's a few pubs to pop into.
George & Dragon pub was very decent, dogs allowed in, 4 hand pulled ales and very good food, try the fagotts and the home made lasagne.
Gaskells Hotel allowed dogs in beer garden, food only ok but staff very nice, beer not bad (2 hand pulls I think).
The Talbot was only ok, cramped beer garden and no decent beers, didn't try the food.
Didn't get into the Raven and the other one who's name escapes me.
You must go to the local Butcher, they sell fantastic pies and quiche, you must try them.
We also had a Chinese take-away, that was very good and ate it sitting outside the tent in the evening sun.
All in all a tip-top visit, the site is very clean, facilities spot-on, 10 min walk into Much Wenlock and a nice quiet spot.
A lovely break was had.

Pulled on to the site to be greeted by friendly staff who directed us to our pitch. They met us there and pointed out all facilities which included recycling on the site. Pitches are tiered so all have good views.
Site grounds are immaculate, toilets and showers cleaned several times a day and were spotless each time we used them. Barry and Lizzie couldn't do enough for everybody should you need their help.
Ten minute walk into Much Wenlock with an excellent butchers that we used.
Would definitely go back.

Visited for two nights with our caravan, together with daughter, son-in-law and grand-daughter in their campervan, and we were allocated adjacent pitches on one of the 'tiers'
Levelling the twin-axle van on arrival was interesting, but I blame that on my 'Accommodation Manager' for choosing such a large van! The pitches are large enough to position even a large van either longitudinally or laterally, but there is a slight slope to deal with on most levels.
The wardens were excellent, showing us to our pitches on arrival and providing us with a neat little rack to use for disposable BBQ's for the ubiquitous Saturday afternoon impromptu session!
Water and waste facilities were fine, with both a tap and EHU right by our pitches and a beautifully clean shower and washing-up block a short distance away. The site is VERY Quiet! Lovely!
Much Wenlock is lovely - we echo the comments about made by others about the George & Dragon, and we visited Ironbridge for a wander around whilst we were there.
All in all, a great weekend away - we even saw the sun for a large chunk of it, although it did bounce it down on Friday night!

Stayed 3 nights. Owners/wardens are very friendly and helpful, loaned us a EHU extension, as our 15m cable would not quite reach to the supply point, if I had realised I could have easily set up our tent a bit closer and then it would have reached. Site is mainly terraced, so pitch was almost level and was well drained, pitches are clearly marked out and look to be about 10m x 10m. Site and toilets/showers were very clean. Only niggle was that the sinks in the gents did not have sink plugs. Site was half full when we stayed, never had to queue for anything at all. At night site was quiet after 10pm, no road noise to disturb our sleep.
Much Wenlock has several pubs and restaurants - we used the George and Dragon, which was very good for food and has a good choice of beers. The town centre is about 10 minutes walk from the site.
We visited Ironbridge, with all its museums, which was interesting and we also went to look at the roman ruins at Wroxeter, again interesting if you like that sort of thing.
We would be happy to stay at this site again, the site is great and the area has much to offer the visitor

Stayed for two nights in a motorhome at this lovely quiet site (except for the crows who were nesting but that's fine). Plenty of walks directly from the site ideal for dogs and the beautiful Much Wenlock which was about 5 - 10 mins walk away. Wardens were very friendly and welcoming. 3 Toilets and 3 showers in the ladies were cleaned at least three times a day while we were there. I did not see a play area but children seemed to be enjoying themselves cycling and playing ball. Will definitely return soon.

Just back from a one night stay in order to try out our new tent canopy. We chose this site as it is only a few miles from home but situated in the lovely little town of Much Wenlock.
On arrival we were met by a friendly warden who showed us to our pitch. The pitch was on a 'tier' and although not snooker table flat, it wasn't sloped enough to notice and the ground was well drained and soft for pegs. We set up while the kids watched local birds of prey hunting and the local farmer ploughing his field in the distance (probably the only vehicle we heard during our stay).
The toilet/shower block is a prefabricated unit which was very clean. There are three showers, two cubicles and two urinals in the mens and three each of showers and cubicles in the ladies. There are sinks in both and there are also disabled facilities in the same block. The showers are a decent size with nice warm water and totally free. The only criticism is that there are no plugs in the sinks.
There is a washing up area next to the toilet block with two sinks/draining boards and very hot water. Take a plug though as the ones provided were not a great fit!
The site was not very busy and there is no playpark but this is part of the charm as it was a nice quiet site in a lovely setting. Much Wenlock is a five minute walk to the centre and has pubs and places to eat. It is also the birthplace of the modern Olympics. Ironbridge is also a ten minute drive.
A small hut at the entrance to the site has tourist information and books to read.
Overall, a very nice place to stay.
