Very pleasant busy but fairly quiet site, and the wardens were great. The showers and toilet block were cleaned 3 times a day, and they were clean! Push button shower but that's not a problem. Nice walk into the town with a café that does a fry-up, and the pubs are ok. Not a great deal happening in the town but situated within easy reach of Ironbridge etc. I recommend buying the annual pass if you intend visiting Blists Hill and Ironbridge, as it gets you into 10 different museums and is well worth the money.

Absolutely loved this site. It was clean, tidy, friendly and welcoming. The blonde Yorkshire lass warden works tirelessly throughout the day, if she's not cleaning the Loos, she's cutting the grass, or showing someone to their pitch. A real pride is taken and it shows. The loos are well stocked with toilet rolls. There is plenty of room in the showers and loads of hooks for hanging clothes and towels etc. The only shower I've been in on a campsite which hasn't had mildew at the bottom of the shower curtain. There is also a drop down stool in there. The sinks have plugs in and even a bottle of hand wash is available for use. Little touches but they make such a difference.
A freezer is provided in the washing up room for ice packs. The was room has two sinks and again, there was some washing up liquid, which might have been provided by the site or left by someone else.
The views are lovely. The pitches are generously spaced out. Just a stroll down to the town takes about 15 minutes and you are rewarded with the quaintest little village. It's gorgeous. There is a spar shop for groceries etc, pubs, takeaways, and the people are soo friendly.
Listen to the birds roosting in the nearby trees in the evening, watch the buzzards soaring above or if you're lucky you'll hear an owl hoot.

I have visited this site on two previous occasions and have loved it for it's location but felt it let itself down due to a very unkempt appearance and poor toilet and shower facilities. Not any more. The transformation is remarkable. Excellent showers and loos beautifully maintained and the grounds are perfect. Full marks to the couple who maintain it, they're doing a marvellous job. The town/village of Much Wenlock (15 mins walk) is lovely with a couple of really nice pubs. (There may be more). The ruined abbey is well worth a visit. When in the area DO NOT miss Ironbridge. You can purchase one ticket to visit all the museums/attractions which is excellent value. I will definitely be back.

I visit the site regularly and have no problems with the site or the wardens. I was there on the weekend commented on below and I have to disagree with the comments left.
We were close to the caravans in question and the music was not that loud and went off at 9pm.
Yes it was for someones birthday but the 'GAZEBO' was only erected late on the Sunday afternoon for a short space of time due to poor weather.
The wardens participation was only in providing duck boards to preserve the grass, not tables and chairs. Which was available for everyone's use due to the poor weather conditions.
I cannot believe the comment against the campsite when there was nothing out of order.
Its a quality campsite with obviously some small minded people visiting it!
I would definitely return to this site, as its very well managed and no complaints and would certainly recommend it!

Lovely site in a great location. The approach road is a bit muddy when wet as some new houses being constructed on the entrance lane. Like a previous reviewer we were pitched near about 10 blokes in 2 tents and really don't mind people enjoying themselves as everyone is there to have a good time, but talking and laughing all night long (I kid you not, they woke me every hour during the night and resulted to earplugs !) I didn't think acceptable for everyone's enjoyment. Again like the previous reviewer I didn't see much in complaining at the time so I thought I would just drop an email highlighting the fact and enquiring about any park rules regarding noise, the reply back was that the warden had a walk round the park on Friday at 23. 50 and although the men were all talking the noise level was acceptable ! I believe this site rule needs writing for a start and then policing as other sites do for the enjoyment and peace of other campers. I cannot recommend this site for this reason and certainly wouldn't book there in future which is a shame.

Well maintained site with clean facilities.
Site is pretty compact so not much room to spread your wings.
At £7 pppn a bit pricey.
Pitches are ideal for tents.
At the height of the season think may find waiting for loos etc as there are 3 showers and 3 toilets for males so guessing same for opposite sex.
All in all we had a good stay and weather was great.

Nice clean site, showers good, Much Wenlock lovely, as is Bridgenorth, but wardens didn't seem approachable. We were hoping for a peaceful weekend and we got it until 4 tourers arrived, erected a marquee and had music blaring loudly. Now I'm not a partypooper, but they could have kept it down - we didn't complain, didn't think there was much point as the wardens had helped them by giving them a load of chairs & tables. I know it was someones birthday, but consideration for the other tourers and tenters would have been nice, as a lot of them had children in bed.

We have just got back from a 2 night stay in our tent at Sytche. Upon arrival we were greeted by the site wardens who were very helpful and efficient. It cost £7 per person per night to stay which is on the high side for what we usually pay when camping.
The site was well maintained and well mown with lots of space for both caravans and tents. There was a small library on site where you could borrow books - although none of the books on offer were our cup of tea!
There was a shed for doing washing up in with a freezer in it and plenty of water taps around the site.
Our pitch was on the top tier of the site with lovely views out over the Shropshire countryside.
The toilet block was quite well maintained with 3 toilets, 3 showers and 3 sinks in each separate male and female rooms. It was all kept tidy but not really to the pristine standards that some reviews make out. There was always plenty of toilet roll. A bit of advice: if you are the sort of person who likes to have a wash in the sink make sure you bring your own plug! (There were no plugs there which seemed a bit strange!)
Some local places that must be visited include Wenlock Priory. Situated in the heart of Much Wenlock sit these evocative ruins of a Cluniac monastery. It is a good idea to double up your visit with a trip to nearby Buildwas Abbey which is just a short drive away. This site is a Cistercian abbey ruin.
For great food and excellent customer service visit Bilash Indian restaurant in Much Wenlock.

Just got back from a two night stay at Sytche caravan and camping park. This is the second year we've been and we've really enjoyed it. The showers and toilets are immaculate. They must be cleaned at least three times a day! The site is quiet and peaceful. At night all we could hear were the birds and some snoring! It's ideally situated near the town of Much Wenlock which must have the best butchers in the whole of the UK. Try their rump steak on the bbq, absolutely gorgeous. The washing up facilities are covered which is great if its raining. The warden's have added a small freezer this year so you can freeze your ice blocks. All in all a lovely site and we shall be returning next year.

As I was trying out a new Trailer Tent I chose this site as it was near to home and what a gem it turned out to be. The site was very clean and tidy and the toilets were cleaned at least 4 times a day at w/ends. I can only agree with all the other comments about the town ect.
The wardens/owners worked very hard to keep the site in A1 condition.
I would life to make a few points that could improve the site.
A leaflet with all the do's and don'ts and info about the site should be printed instead of notices put in toilet block.
A lack of rubbish bins around the site needs to be addressed.
I did not see any Fire Points around if there were they were not pointed out on arrival.
Having to vacate by 11am is a bit early.
These are minor points and in no way spoilt a lovely few days and are meant as comments to help the owners improve the site
