Quite a small very well kept site. Very clean ablutions. They clean 3 times a day what we saw. Great policy on dogs, always on a lead in the campsite. In dishwasher area is a freezer.

We stayed here for a long weekend recently and enjoyed good weather and blue skies.
The site is immaculate but, as dog owners, it was obvious that we weren't that welcome. The signage around the site was very brusque and threatening which is a shame as the message to clear up after your dog is a very reasonable one.
It appears that they have had some issues with dogs running free in the past but it would be better to deal with these individuals rather than being so openly strict with everyone.
Constructively, if the wardens could tone down the strident tone of the various signs around the site and in the washblock it would give the site a more friendly feel.

Just returned after a week's stay. Very well kept site with good views. Just a 10min walk to town with plenty or shops cafés and 2 dog friendly pubs (George& dragon and the fox).
Facilities included information hut wash block with showers (cleaned 3 times a day) EHU water washing up facilities etc. Wardens very helpful even had spare wooden blocks and pegs. Nice big pitches on hard standings needed help getting on pitch had to do blinds reverse. Good price £18 a night for location views and showers.
Only things I would think could improve site would be dog bin near footpath and also little map of where they lead. Also could do with somewhere to hang toiletries in shower. Showers could be a bit hotter. Would recommend site.

The sites is a very pleasant and well maintained with very good facility’s that are cleaned at least three time a day, but more if the site is busy by very pleasant wardens who are also very helpful.
What myself and wife like most about the site is that you don’t keep hearing mobile phones going off all the time and yuppies’ all sat round using their laptops, it is nice just to go away and have some time away from the bustle of the hi speed way of life that we all seem to lead.
The site is very well situated just five minutes amble to the town that has everything you would need some good places to eat and drink, shops to browse around also well situated for the iron bridge museums.
The prices are very reasonable and to be truthful I would pay more to keep it just the way it is no internet or mobile phone reception' But you can find a mobile reception if you have a walk around the site 'if you can not live with out it

What a beautiful site, very quiet, wardens Lisa and Barry very friendly and helpful, toilets/showers cleaned 3 times a day. Has a play area, but no equipment, swings etc. Much Wenlock 10 min walk away, pubs, cafes, chinese/fish shop and Indian very nice. Now for the bad news, because of some irresponsible dog owners not cleaning up after their pets, and keeping them off the lead on site, they have now been banned. Why do they give us responsible owners a bad name, would have loved to have put my caravan on there for the season.

Just returned from a few nights stay, idealy situated to make you feel far away enough from it all but only a 10 min walk into the village if you so wish. Lovely walks surrounding the site. Few pubs in much wenlock 1 being dog friendly called 'george and dragon ' very friendly atmosphere.
The facilities on site are very clean and adequate for the size of the site.
Mobile phone reception is very hit and miss, more miss than hit and internet is non existant. Wifi on site would be a bonus for those of us that have to stay in touch.
I think the website could do with updating as we were charged £20 per night when it states on website that in march it is £18 per night.
I do think the price is quite high for the facilities available and have been to sites with more and paid less so for this reason and the lack of internet/phone signal we probably wont return but it was a nice few days and if you want to get away from it all this sites for you.

This was our first visit to the site since it has been upgraded. The facilities are a little cramped but kept very clean and plenty of hot water at all times. The pitches are well laid out with grass surrounds and good views. Excellent Wardens who are very helpful. Being able to walk into Much Wenlock via local footpaths only a short distance away was another bonus.

We found the wardens to be very helpful and friendly. The site was immaculate and the toilets were very clean also the showers worked very well. The site is very well situated for visiting Ironbridge and easily accessible via a narrow lane. The only criticism I could make is that there is not many toilets and if the site was to be full I think there could be a bit of a wait. I would definitely recommend this site and would visit again if ever in the area

This is a lovely, clean site with good views on the edge of Much Wenlock. It is handy for visiting the Iron Bridge and the Ironbridge Gorge museums as well as St Milburga's Abbey (in the centre of Much Wenlock) and Buildwas Abbey. I asked for a pitch in a dog-free area and got one with no fuss, hassle or baffled and intrusive questions as to why I wanted one (other sites please take note). If you are visiting the museums it works out much less expensive to get the Passport - and you can return as often as you like for the next year. There is a discount for English Heritage members. Would we go back to this site? Yes, definitely!

Returned yesterday after spending a week at this site and I can't wait to go back! Well looked after with friendly staff (the showerblock is cleaned 3 times daily)nothing is too much trouble. The area is superb about a quater of an hour's walk into Much Wenlock loads of towns and attractions within easy reach by car or bus. Recommended.
