Positives.
Nicely set site, in a great location to Much Wenlock, the town boasts some great walks, a nice selection of shops and a couple of great dog friendly pubs. The campsite is close to this.
The campsite is in immaculate condition, toilets are grounds are spotless and well maintained.
The negatives, our booking was took, the number of available pitches were known but we were put on a massively uneven road, not a pitch, admittedly the wardens said that they would stop people passing us, regardless, due to not wanting vans on soft ground we were parked up on a road.
Also, this site allows dogs, it does not welcome them, it is stressed that dogs can only be walked at the designated area, now that's fine, but how do I tell my dog that she can't go there and has to wait until the designated, especially if the designated area is some distance from where we were pitched. So regardless of if you clean up after them, dogs are not to be walked round the site.

We had a fantastic 3 nights on this peaceful and well kept site in July this year. From the moment of our arrival, the wardens were friendly and helpful, working tirelessly to keep the site tidy and running smoothly. The showers were lovely and clean whatever time of day you used them, and we never had to queue despite the site being pretty much full during our stay.
It is a short walk into town, either through the woods or along the town path, and there are several shops, cafes and pubs offering a choice of food.
We had a great time, and will be back. Thanks Colin and Michelle for looking after us so well.

This site is a series of some 4 terraces, most with EHU. Excellent toilet and shower facilities. Kept very clean and tidy. Washing up facility complete with freezer. No facilities for children. 10 mins walk to the village. Again there is little here for children, ~(unless they are interested in old buildings and priory ruins. ) the site is very quiet and peaceful, will certainly be returning soon.

This is a quiet site, located down a cul-de-sac on the outskirts of the village of Much Wenlock. It accommodates mainly caravans and mobile homes, but with some tents too. The field has been terraced into rows to make it reasonably level, and there are hard standing and grass pitches. There is a modern toilet and shower block which was maintained to a high standard. Showers are free. The wash-up area is under cover, with ample very hot water and with washing up liquid and scourers provided! There is also a freezer available there. There are no play facilities for children, although there is a small designated patch of grass that they can run around on. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. The staff are always on hand and never seem to stop working and the site is very well maintained. This is a very quiet, relaxing site where you can just completely unwind. Very occasional road noise may be heard and the odd plane or helicopter flies by, but the main noise is the birdsong and hum of insects. It is probably more suited to mature adults. The village of Much Wenlock has several historic buildings dating from the Tudor period and earlier. There are a few pubs and several cafes, a greengrocers, butchers and a Spar/Post Office - and that's about it. There is nothing much for children to do in the village. The nearest towns are Bridgnorth (about 8 miles south) or Shrewsbury (about 12 miles north, both of which have historic town centres which have been well preserved. There are antique and bric-a-brac shops in both towns, if you like that kind of thing. I would definitely stay at this campsite again.

Just returned from our third visit to this immaculate site in the last two months owing to its convenient distance to Travelworld motorhome dealership in Telford as well as Much Wenlock. The amenities are immaculately kept as are the pitches with lots of flower boxes dotted about. The site is tiered and includes grass and handstand pitches. The information booth also holds a library which raises funds for charity. Special mention, however, must be made about the outstanding service given by the wardens who are not only helpful but go the extra mile. The site is on the outskirts of the pretty Much Wenlock which has lots of opportunities to buy local produce and a number of venues to eat, drink and relax. A 5 minute walk takes you directly into the village or a picturesque walk through the fields takes slightly longer. The excellent butchers is recommended (closed on Wednesdays). Lots of opportunities to visit in the near locality, Ironbridge, Ludlow, Blists Hill museum village and more further afield. We fully expect to visit this site at least annually if not even more frequently.

What a wonderful find! A lovely quiet spot with only the sound of the birds for company. Situated just a 10 minute walk from the centre of Much Wenlock overlooking the town in one direction and up to Wenlock Edge the other way. Plots are of a generous size and the terraced layout means that everyone gets excellent views. The toilet, shower & washing up facilities were spotless and cleaned on a regular basis. It was very quiet whilst we were there and the only reason we gave the facilities 9 out of 10 is because I'm not sure whether the 3 toilets & showers would be sufficient during very busy periods. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful and you got the impression that nothing would be too much trouble for them. The site was immaculate - the grass beautifully cut and maintained.
A beautiful site in a beautiful part of the world.
This was our first visit to Sytche and it will certainly not be our last!

We stayed for 2 nights at this lovely well kept site. The wardens are very friendly and the site is spotless. It is a 10 minutes walk into Much Wenlock which is a quaint little town. We visited the George and Dragon pub which is dog friendly and used the local market in the Corn Exchange. There is a good bus service but we didn't use it. The toilet/ shower block was very clean with hot free showers. There is an indoor washing up area with lots of hot water. Such a fantastic location and reasonably priced at £16 p/n including EHU

A real gem of a site run by a fantastic couple for whom nothing is too much trouble, the site is impeccable with pitches on several levels and most with electric hookup if required.
The toilets and showers where kept spotlessly clean and little things such as providing liquid soap for handwashing, in the wash up area on the end of the shower block washing up liquid together with sponges and J cloths were provided, plenty of hot water at all times.
There are a nice selection of books to borrow in the hut at the entrance, donation to lifeboats, WiFi limited coverage and very limited mobile phone coverage (O2 seemed only one) but having said that it was a relief to be 'off grid' for a few days and if needed I could go into the town and there was free WiFi in the 'George and Dragon' and they also served good food at good prices, supermarket opposite pub.
Whenever in the area I would not hesitate to return.
Thanks Barry and Lizzie

Great little campsite, we have been back several times. Used it for a family reunion, so had two campervans and two tents and the owners made sure we were all together. Meticulously maintained and cleaned, great value and just a short walk from the town where there are loads of shops, places to eat etc. Handy also for Ironbridge. Quiet but friendly.

Our third visit, and we'll happily return to this site.
It's on the edge of Much Wenlock, which is a good place to be, with views across the countryside hiding most of the town so you'd think you were really in the country.
It's maintained to a seriously high standard with clean hot showers & excellent loos all cleaned several times daily, washing up facilities, & freezer for blocks, all in the price.
The grass is mown, there are flower baskets, banks of wild flowers, and decent sized pitches, some with French emplacement style low hedges growing. We don't use electricity, but an increasing number of pitches have it available.
It's wonderfully quiet, and if there is late noise, or dogs running off their leads, the wardens, who live on site, will see to it.
I meet an increasing number of sites where campers seem to think it's an extension of town, and don't even exchange 'Good morning' willingly - this is more friendly, and most people here are the sort who'll happily chat while washing up.
When we were there, Severn Water briefly cut the supply while doing works, so we woke to find the wardens had quietly placed a large bottle of water by every tent.
Much Wenlock, attractive place in itself, has a variety of pubs serving food, food shops, hardware shop, and more, including decent bookshops, plus its own small market.
Thanks Barry & Lizzy!
