We managed to get into this site at the last minute as they had a cancellation and SO pleased we found it! It has a lovely relaxed and quiet feel about it and the facilities were clean and the showers hot. Both the mens and womens showers had one large and one smaller cubicle, and this larger size was ideal for washing the children in. We found the wardens to be friendly and the children enjoyed running around in the long grass and exploring the small beck that flows through the site.
Locally there is a lot to do and see, we went to Ironbridge and bought a 'Passport' which allows you to visit any of the 10 museums as many times as you wish in 12 months - this will be great as we will definitely be returning to this site. Much Wenlock itself was an easy walk and very pretty with lots of pubs. One minor negative was the Chinese take away in Much Wenlock, the Chinese food tasted like it had came out of a jar! Only a minor gripe but may save you some money. Our neighbours told us The George and Dragon did great food so we will try that next time!

We have stayed at Sytche once this year and once last year.
It offers good value for money.
The toilets and showers have always been clean and tidy.
Its a pity there isnt a bit more lighting around the site and the entrance road could be better, but its handy for the town.
The bus service to Shrewsbury is useful as its better than moving the van.
We will return again.

Would definitely recommend this site to anyone although since we have visited we have found it difficult to rebook due to it's popularity. Nice pitches, beautiful surroundings and within walking distance of Much Wenlock itself where there are several good pubs to visit with good pub grub. We especially enjoyed browsing around the second hand bookstore there. Ironbridge is also a short drive away. As for the facilities on site there were two good showers and the loos were kept clean and tidy at all times.

This site is one of the best value sites we have stayed at in 10 years of camping. The site owner was very helpful and friendly, on arrival she came out to meet us, escorted us to our pitch and took time to explain the local amenities. The toilet and shower blocks were very clean and even though the toilet block is just a portacabin the fact that is was always spotless makes a huge difference. There isn't anything for kids to do on the site so it's nice and peaceful! The town of Much Wenlock is very pretty and in easy walking distance. It has plenty of pubs and places to eat. This site is perfect for a weekend break in lovely surroundings.

Great site, very cheap although the crows in the neighbouring field did get a little annoying. Toilet block and showers were fine and claen but be aware there is nowhere to plug in a hairdryer, fortunately friends had electric hook-up. The location is great and much Wenlock is very pretty. There is a nearby spar and many pubs in the village. We even managed to get Tesco to deliver our online shopping to the site (the drivers did think it would be a wind up though!)

On arrival at the Sytche we were welcomed, advised of the whereabouts of the site facilities & shown to our pitch. The Sytche pitches are situated over 4 tiers. Each tier has a slightly sloping gradient. Our pitch was accessed via an upper tier down a grass slope to a lower tier whilst being guided & assured it was ok by the warden. Subsequently however, the slope was too high for the overhang of the caravan & both landing leg feet on the rear of the caravan were broken off. This happened again to another user who was pitched next too us. (Something to bear in mind when siting!) The site has picturesque surroundings with low noise levels. The amenities blocks are well stocked & well cared for & the village of Much Wenlock is within easy walking distance.

Myself and my son stayed here for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it there. The pitches are a decent size on different levels with plenty of EHU hook ups. The pitches were slightly sloping and the views were excellent. The toilets were always clean and the free showers x 2 were the best we have ever used. There was a washing up area with free hot water (1 sink, take your own bowl). Much Wenlock is a lovely town (5-10 min walk) with a lot of history and where the modern day Olympics originate from. The owner of the Sytche was a lovely woman and we found it to be the best value for money site we have come across £6 a night and will probably go back there in September as my son loved it so much.

We have visited Sytche caravan and camping park twice now and we will go there again. The site is on three levels for caravans and tents. There are plenty of hook-ups available, it is a lovely maintained site. The toilets are spotless with plenty of loo-roll and all working locks. The shower blocks are spacious, clean and FREE. Even the washing up facilities are decent with washing up liquid provided also. The site is off the main road so it is safe for children but it is also close enough to the village to be able to walk to shops, pubs, takeaways, potteries and some other tourist attractions. No need to keep jumping in the car.Nice and cheap to stay there as well, we all would recommend this site to anyone, with children or without. GREAT SITE, one of the best we have visited.

The Sytche is on the edge of Much Wenlock which is a lovely little village and is a good base for visiting the surrounding areas, including Ironbridge. The site seems to be on 4 tiers which is good for enjoying the view, but is on a bit of a slope so tent pitches, which were on the top tier, have to be picked carefully, (they are also furthest away from the toilets). The toilet and shower facilities are quite basic but they were clean.
