A very nice campsite, owners very pleasant. Campsite very clean and tidy. Wash block clean however no plugs in wash basins or coat hooks around wash basin area which would be helpful when getting young children washed, to hang towel etc on.
On arrival was shown to pitch and was able to borrow an extension cable for EHU as ours wasn't long enough. There was a small freezer in info hut for ice packs (free of charge).
Campsite very close to Ironbridge attractions.

What a find! Very clean facilities and wardens really helpful. Site fees very reasonable. Short walk into Much Wenlock, which is a lovely town. Did not visit any of the pubs or restaurants so cannot comment on them. Plenty of dog walking facilities in the surrounding area.
We visited on the first May Bank Holiday and it was a little chilly at times but did not detract from a very good weekend.
We would definitely visit again. We did not bother with electric as only on a three night visit but it was available. The freezer in the information hut is a good addition to the campsite (we believe it had only been introduced this year) and feel that in this day and age all campsites should provide this facility (and without charge). We were on one of the terraces with good views over the fields, but not sure we would want to be on the back camping field as a slight slope, but it did not look too bad. We've become more fussy in our old age. Have had too many meals landing on the floor!
Our only gripe (and one I know has been mentioned in earlier reviews) was the temperature in the showers. Probably would not have mattered in hot weather but as it was a bit chilly warmer showers would have been more comfortable. Still would not stop us visiting again.

We do put our trust in your reviews and haven't been let down yet. We require hook up, good quality toilet and shower facilities and walking distance to local pub with food. This site had the lot and the little town of Much Wenlock was delightful, an added bonus.
All I can say is 10 out of 10 for everything and to quote Ol Arnie 'I'll be back'

Spent three nights over bank holiday on this site!
Arrived on Friday at 21.00 because of traffic delays. Barry met us & showed us where to pitch(in dark). In morning went to see about ehu. My cable was not long enough & Barry obliged & lent us one for the break!
There is a little shed on arrival with loads of tourist leaflets & books etc. No plugs in wash basins so bring your own! Showers & washing block looks new, water always hot. Washing up place is indoors with 2 sinks & plastic basins provided.
Great drainage as it rained most of the night on Sat but ground was dry in morning. I think the site needs a playground as there were loads of kids on site but nowhere to play as such. There are walks from the site up to Wenlock Edge & beyond.
We went there to visit Ironbridge, very interesting place if you are into industrial history great Museums indoor & out. Went into Wenlock one afternoon loads of shops & pubs didn't venture into pubs but village is only 5 mins walk.
Overall great area & site, probably return next year!

Very clean and well kept site. Wardens worked hard and are very friendly and helpful.
Shower/toilet block was spotless, although the showers could do with being slightly hotter and the buttons need to be pressed quite frequently.
Pitch was sloping, although there were some more level ones on site. The fire pit is a nice idea.
Washing up shed was a bit dark in the evenings due to sinks facing away from windows.
Would stay again.

Just returned from a week at this perfect little site. Everything said previously I give a thumbs up to.
The toilet block was second to none, and cleaned at least twice a day.
So many walks from the site itself, we recommend the walk over Wenlock Edge, where you can look down at the site and marvel at how far you've climbed up!
Would recommend this site 100%

Really nice site which gets sun ALL day. We where in top field where there is no EHU otherwise site is well served with numerous hook up points.
Toilet and shower facilities are new (2009 ?) and in excellent condition. These where cleaned at least twice a day. There is no extra cost for the showers. Each stall has a folding stool and coats hooks. There is loads of hot water, along with liquid soap for handwashing.
Plate washing is available with two sinks and drainers but no plugs. Washing up liquid and sponges are normally in the kitchen as well.
Site is very clean and tidy. Reception shed now has a small freezer for freezer blocks only along with a small book swap facility.
Much Wenlock is a about a 10 min walk away.
We where not charged for our youngest as under 4.
Wardens are very friendly and take great pride in looking after the site.
Dogs are welcome but not allowed to roam.
Plenty of space and safe site for the kids to play but no facilities provided.

We have just returned from this fantastic site. The location is first class - you feel as if you're way out in the countryside, but Much Wenlock (smashing pubs, Chinese/Indian takeaways, Spar, top butcher, market) is a five minute walk away. The facilities are spotless and cleaned at least 3 times a day. No play area as such but there is space to fly kites/play football, and there is a good park in Much Wenlock. The site wardens are very friendly and helpful, and take a real pride in the site. Very impressed with recycling facilities- much better than many sites we've visited. Very pleased indeed, we're definitely going back.

Just spent a long weekend here, Friday to Monday, just two of us. The site was very clean and the wardens were very helpful, showing us to our pitch and laying out an extension cable for our hook up.
Toilet/Washing facilities are first class. A short walk into town to the local Spar and pubs for a drink. This site is well worth a visit and we shall no doubt be returning for another visit.

Just spent 7 days with hubby, son and daughter in law and 2 grandchildren (3&7) for the the half term break.A lovely campsite with helpful and friendly wardens, nothing being too much trouble, site beautifully maintained. Toilet and shower block spotlessly clean all the time. Very reasonable priced, the only downside for me was being in a motability scooter the paths were very stony.
Plenty of places to walk the dogs, the grandchildren loved the wildlife but were disappointed not to see the panther that is supposedly in that area
