This is probably one of the best sites I have stayed on, from lovely reception to the best shower, toilet blocks I have seen,
It is a large site, but so clean and tidy, very good shop on site, takeaway ok, but prefer the chinese just past warren farm!
Flat pitches, which drained well considering the heavy rain,
Wardens always about and security of a night time,
Seagull pub is a 8 minute walk away, very busy but its better sitting outside undercover with heaters on and older kids can go to the arcade a minute away while you enjoy a drink
Love this site and area and will be returning very soon

We have just returned from our short break at Northam Farm Brean and apart from the weather I cannot find a negative word to say about this site. From arriving, 100yrds from the site seeing a sign warning of its entrance (you would have to be blind to miss it) There were ample spaces outside the reception and the staff inside the reception were so helpful and informative. The site is the biggest we have visited before but the facilities were amazingly clean and the water temperature was perfect every time. It was quiet while we were there but everything was open apart from a new kids adventure area which had just been finished and opened ready for good Friday, so at least the kids will be happy, there is another on site as well so not a problem.
We always felt comfortable and the kids felt safe and the dogs loved the walks around the outskirts of the lakes and everyone seemed happy and respected each other, even wiping down after visiting the washing up areas was always nice to see. We stayed on hard standing which was very large, we will be going back to this site. Brilliant

Visited Northam Farm for a 2 week stay over Easter. Had to extend our stay as a member of our family was taken poorly and admitted to hospital for 3 weeks 4 days into our holiday.
Northam Farm were amazing so caring, understanding and helpful regarding our situation.
So not only do you have a wonderful site with excellent facilities, you also have members of staff who really do care. They will bend over backwards to make your stay a more comfortable one and help you any way they can should a problem arise.

We love this campsite, just 45 mins from home its the ideal weekend break. Its large and can get very busy, as our kids are grown up now we would probably avoid the school holidays, but any other time is perfect.
Dog friendly with some nice walks around the site. Has several large toilet blocks which can get a bit untidy especially when children on site but the staff are usually there and are constantly cleaning different areas.
You do have to pay for showers which I don't like very much as during peak times the site is not cheap to stay so I feel this should be free, usually use our own in the caravan anyway.
Great beach where part is dog friendly and you can drive your car onto it so great as you can take everything you need for a great day out.
Plenty of bars and takeaways and amusements along the main drag, although I find it a bit tacky and don't tend to go there now as don't have the kids with us anymore.
If you stay when there is a convention like we did in October when it was Country and Western it can get quite rowdy at night with campers coming back from the bars, but to be honest that didn't bother me, and it was a laugh seeing everyone dressed up as cowboys and Indians.
I would definitely recommend this site and usually come here several times a year when we don't want the longer drive to Devon.

Booked this site for a week last year but had to leave early, the staff offered a credit note for the nights we would not be using which had 1 year in which to be used. Thought this was a really nice gesture.
Stayed for the country and western week this year which was very busy but the staff kept the facilities clean and tidy.
We had a problem with the caravan whilst there and they came within the hour to diagnose the problem although they told us they may not be able to fix that day.
They were able to fix the problem within minutes and was told it was free. What a great site with lovely helpful staff.

Cannot fault this site in any way at all.
Although it is a large site all facilities are within easy walking distance,
The toilets are cleaned regularly and are spotless and modern, and the staff are friendly and helpful,
We were there during the country and western festival, so there were plenty of interesting people around,
Dog walks were in abundance and the fishing pools were good although I had a poor week.
Will we go back again? most certainly, thinking of booking for the last weekend before the winter closing

We stayed at Northam farm for a one nighter and found the site to be very pleasant indeed.
Friendly and helpful staff and a well maintained pitch, we chose a hardstanding which was well kept up.
The reception staff are very helpful and was told to just go and pitch up in our given field.
Their entertainment complex which is just down the road is the Seagull, Live music on day and night with some fab offers on food and drinks.
We paid £13. 50 for a one night stay which was ok, I would return to this site as it was relaxed and friendly.
Might even be back this weekend!

Stayed at Northam Farm in our large tent for one week in August. Pitches very large and clearly marked. We stayed on a none dog field with EHU. Very clean site with great large field for kids to play, with football posts and climbing frames etc. Also numerous enclosed play area dotted around the site which had slides, swings and climbing frames.
Shower block and toilets spottles and cleaned several times a day. Showers 50p for 6 minutes but well worth it constant hot water and no loss of pressure. Pot washing sinks under-cover.
Reception and staff great very quick check in and friendly.
Ten minutes walk into Brean itself with plenty for kids and adults to do. We ate in the Seagull which served very good food at reasonable prices.
Beach access across the road from the site, but we preferred to drive a mile up the road and parked on the beach all day for three pounds nice National Trust cafe at beach which sells very nice ice-creams yum yum.
This is a great site for families even though it is a very big site noise at night minimal, will return.

Stayed here for 1 week in August this year. On arrival we checked in at reception and were given instructions to follow the tourer signs then follow the marshalls to our pitch. Touring areas split between dog friendly and dog free. Pitches are block paved hard standing.
Pitch was a generous size and we were close to the play area which was good for our kids. There are other play areas on site and a bmx track. Our shower block was ok, but my wife had to nip to the loo as we were leaving the site and used the other one on the non pet friendly side and said it was much better than ours.
We were also close to the larger of the 2 fishing lakes so I did a bit of fishing which is included in your tariff so nothing extra to pay there.
Saturday market just up the road and Sunday car boot sale. Amusement arcades and brean leisure park within walking distance.
We ate out a few times in the Mermaid and found the food to be decent and reasonably priced however they won't serve anything as a starter. We also tried Scotty's and found that to be the same. Visit Brean downs just up the road for a cheap day out. Breath taking scenery and fresh air. Kids will love exploring the old fort.
All in all a good place for a family holiday only downside is you have to pay 50p for showers.

We were slightly nervous at using such a large site as this however any worries we had were unfounded it works remarkably well for such a large site we loved it !
Pitches
Spacious flat and well drained we were on 8 acres near the play park thought it was fab, no noise after 9pm - 10pm quiet and peaceful with families enjoying the break like we were.
Showers/Amenities
Best showers we have ever used, kept remarkably spotless yes they cost 50p but as the pitch price is so reasonable we didn't care, great temperature, really roomy shower and drying area bench, hooks and great drainage warm shower block piped radio loads of toilets never ever had to queue and it was peak season - superb
Great launderette, reasonable shop, great caravan sales area lovely play areas dog walks and ball games area also fishing on site - free !
Large dish wash area also, could not fault it staff were very very friendly booking in and warden/security staff superb will visit again and again as loads of people do I can see why highly recommended
