Just come back from 11 days at this campsite and have to say it was the best holiday we have had in years. It was an excellent campsite. You get shown to your pitch.

Toilet facilities were top of the range, they were clean at all times and huge. You have separate wash spaces, showers, bath and toilets. The only down side to the showers was you had to pay 50p for a shower that lasts 5 minutes so if you are holidaying on a budget be prepared to use some of your well earned cash on the showers.

The play parks are excellent my son of 6 loved going to them and he rode around the park on his bike and we felt he was very safe.

The pitches are huge you can fit a caravan awning car and have loads of seating space, some people even have tents also on their pitches. You get to see some lovely wildlife around the fishing lakes.

You can ride your bikes around this huge campsite and take in soem lovely scenery. The only downside was the entertainment, this is not on site as I previously got the impression from reading their website.

It is actually a 20 minute walk down the road. It is very cramped and it is first come first served so be prepared to not get in. We only went the one night and was very disappointed, by 8. 30am no entertainment had come on it was only music playing, the kids got bored and we heard the entertainment didn't start until after 9pm, by then my 6yr old and 11yr old was bored and we went for a walk instead.

In saying that the Seagull Conservatory restaurant was top of the game, the food was excellent, service was very slowly but the place was heaving so we didn't mind.

The beach is just a 5min walk from the site and well worth a visit it was great. Security is always going around the site so you felt very secure. We didn't use the washing up facilities as we have these in our van so cannot comment on them.

Had 14 days at Northam farm, a well maintained site, very organised, On arrival you get shown to your pitch, we had requested a disabled pitch, we didn't have but were so close to toilets that I cant see how a disabled pitch is better.

Pitches are well looked after, and very large, this space is nice as site is extremely busy.

Toilets are very clean considering the amount of use, lovely showers and yes, you do pay 50p for 6 mins but they are cleaned regularly and have lovely hot water.

Dish washing area is good, hot water and large sinks. Only down side is they should put a time limit on. We were close and the people who wash after 11pm and before 7am is unreal, they are soooo noisy! perhaps closing from 11 til 8am would be better.

The parks close at 9pm.

All staff on site are friendly and helpful. The shop is a little pricey but not more than we expected. The man who works there, the manager I think, is fab, see him for any fishing help. He is very helpful. The fishing lakes are free on site, you need to take your fishing licence.

The chip shop is good although very small portions for your money and the launderette is excellent with plenty of equipment. It is pricey £3. 20 a wash and 50p a tumble, you need 2 at least.

The site has lovely walks, and around the fishing lakes is nice. There are several play parks.

The seagull inn is for the entertainment and food, it is about 15 mins walk and to be honest we couldn't stay as it is cramped, noisy and there wasn't a seat in sight. You would have to get there very early for entertainment which begun at 8. 30pm. Instead we went to Dickies on unity farm, excellent night with good fun for the kiddies. Also the beachcomber by warren farm is fab, food reasonable and entertainment good. Safe play area and few arcade type machines for them.

Lots to do, wookey hole, longleat, weston pier, animal farms, too many to list, fair. Good fun.

Overall, despite not brilliant weather, we had an enjoyable holiday and would return, maybe not to northam but to the area

We have visited this site twice this year so far, with two more visits planned, and twice last year. This is a superb site. Great, clean toilets and showers, you have to pay 50p for a shower, but you get a very long time to shower.

We stay in the 8 acres field which has large hard standings and grass for your awning. It has great dog walks and the beach is close at hand and dogs can run on the beach providing you pick up behind them and you keep them under control.

There are great fishing lakes on site if you are a keen fisherman. There is a good shop on site which is reasonably priced and also a take-away and cafe. Just up the road is the Seagull pub with a great restaurant which also has nightly entertainment.

The staff in the reception are very helpful and friendly. The fees are very reasonable for the amenities provided.

We've just got back from our first stay at Northam Farm and were so pleasantly surprised by the site! It was well organised from the moment we arrived, the site was regularly patrolled, there were plenty of staff about to help with any queries and the site was clean.

Although you have to pay 50p for a 6 minute shower it is well worth the money as the showers are amazing.

Brean has plenty to offer for things to see and do. We were only there for two nights, but the kids enjoyed the leisure park. We spent a great morning on the beach walking the dogs, eating ice creams and having pony rides.

We will definitely be returning, and hopefully for a much longer stay next time.

This is a fantastic site. Very very flat pitches, spaced out really well. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. It is a huge site (we didn't even see all of it) and even though for a few days on our stay it was full, we never had to wait for toilets, showers, sinks etc.

Showers are 50p (the site was reasonably priced so I didn't mind paying for the showers) which was great as it was plenty long enough to shower the kids at the same time.

The block nearest us to my mind was very clean and tidy, everything worked and always had paper in the loos - I saw the cleaner almost very time I went in there. My husband said the mens could have been cleaner.

The block in the main field with the touring caravans and season pitches I think, was unbelievable - modern tiling, posh sinks etc, but the other ones were just fine!

There was hot water for washing up and the area was lovely and clean. The bins are emptied regularly and there are recycling facilities.

We stayed at the Lake Park (dog field though we had no dog) as we phoned for a place on the morning of our arrival from Wales and that was all that was available - not a problem really;

Security excellent; one night some noisy teenagers parked themselves on the bank by our tent but they were quickly moved on and regular checks were made throughout the day and night.

Although it is a huge place and quite busy, especially at the weekend, I had no problem letting my 6 and 4 year old ride around on their bikes in our field and go to the toilet block in the next field, on their own. The playgrounds are great and the one nearest Lake Park is locked at 9pm which is a good idea I think.

I didn't use the launderette but it looked fab and clean, there is also a chippy on site which we didn't use either but it seemed popular. The shop is well stocked and reasonably priced. There is also another Premium shop up the road and a Tesco nearby in Burnham.

There is a fantastic cider farm shop en route to the site where the lovely man offers you to taste everything from home made cider and mead to honey 'baileys' which was fantastic - they don't take debit/credit cards, which is just as well I didn't know this beforehand otherwise I could have spent a fortune.

The site is in a good spot to visit Wookey, Western, Cheddar, Wells, etc. It is within walking distance to Brean Leisure Park; we didn't go there but will next time.

I cannot find one bad thing to say about this site. I love love love it and will definitely be going back (I didn't want to leave even when it rained!)

Stayed at this park several times, clean site with great shower blocks cleaned and looked after to a high standard showers 50p and last for ages.

The pitches are large and level. Fishing lake good for any fishermen out there. On site chip shop for when you don't feel like cooking and cafe for breakfast. Close to beach well just across the road.

Plenty of pubs within walking distance, plenty of places to eat out. Close to Weston takes about 15mins by car.

Friendly staff in reception, and not forgetting the security guards. Will be visiting this site again in September.

This was our first ever camping trip we are a family of 5 and one dog so was a little nervous of what to expect but it was great.

On arrival check in was quick and friendly we stayed in the lakefield area which was lovely and not too busy with decent size pitches and was greeted every morning by the geese and swans with their babies which the kids loved.

Toilets and showers nearest to us were a little dated but are due to be done soon although they were always clean and tidy and the showers were nice and warm the newer block is lovely and very modern.

The shop and takeaway are situated on the entrance to the campsite and had everything you would need. We had a great stay and would not hesitate in returning again.

A fantastic site with incredible facilities. The numerous shower/toilet blocks seem to be recently renovated with slate tiled floors. There are also private cubicles with sinks. There's even music playing in them!

There are different areas to choose from, including a 'no dogs' part. A small take-away on site, with no bar. However, The Seagull is about 1/2 mile away, which is an incredible huge cabaret bar, with a restaurant attached. The site itself is just a short walk through the dunes onto the beach.

The pitches are all large and flat and there are excellent tarmac roads throughout the site. An excellent site, with facilities hard to beat.

We have stayed here two times now due to a few friends recommendations. The first time was in October 2010 for 4 nights & the second time was in April 2011. We like the place that much we have booked to go back again later on in the year. The site is very well maintained & clean & the staff are very welcoming & helpful. Everything you need is within walking distance & it is flat so it is easy for buggies or disabled people. We booked on a hard sanding dog field as we have three dogs. We thought it would be noisy with the park & dog walk right by the van but it wasn't as the wardens lock the parks at night & help to make everyone's stay as enjoyable as possible. We also thought it would be noisy being so close to the leisure park but you can't hear the noise at any time of day.

On the field we stayed there's a bath in the shower/toilet block, but there is often a wait for it as so many people, like ourselves, use it for the kids. It costs £1 but you can fill the bath to the top with water (if you want). Showers are 50p and you have enough time to wash hair etc. Also we found the toilet/shower block on our field to be a bit dull/outdated compared to the other blocks, but it was still clean and spotless and did not put us off using it. Also there are toddler bath's for the younger children/babies which I don't think you have to pay for, bu I'm not 100% sure as I did not use that room.

There is a chip shop on site which is good value but my partner and I did not rate the chips very highly and ended up going shopping to Morrisons & going to the Chinese take away at neighboring camp site. We did try the club for drinks & food in October and found it very nice but it was impossible to go there this time due to the dogs.

In high season there is an ice cream van which comes onto site in the evening.

I would recommend this sight to everyone as it is easy to get to, is close to places for sightseeing & well worth anyone trying at least once!

Very large site but excellent size pitches with plenty of facilities for all. Good site if you have mobility scooter.

Shower block and toilets spotless and cleaned several times a day. Showers 50p for 6 minutes but well worth it constant hot water and no loss of pressure. Pot washing sinks under-cover. Chip shop and cafe on site

Reception and staff great very quick check in and friendly. Very helpful

Ten minutes walk into Brean itself with plenty for kids and adults to do. Beach access across the road from the site.

This is a great site for families even though it is a very big site noise at night minimal, will return.

Great place to visit lots of attraction nearby, will worth a visit.
