June 2005 Very clean and well maintained. Pitches spacious, no dog field have block paved area which was nice.
New toilet/shower block lovely. Music all day, hot water and lovely soap from dispensers. Showers 50p, but very nice and spacious, with a large bench seat, so you are not struggling to get dried and dressed. You could easily shower with your children.
Unfortunatley, there is no club/entertainment, or swimming pool.
The Seagull Inn mentioned on website is about 20 minutes walk, depending where you are on the site, as site is huge. It was raining whilst we were there and we had to drive to Seagull Inn. You struggle to get a seat, we had to stand. Sunday lunch is excellent at Seagull Inn - carvery, and you can have adult or small portion which was plenty adequate for all adults in our party.
We arrived at 4pm on the Saturday, and the nice receptionist said we did not have to rush off on day of leaving, as site was quiet. We stayed until about 6pm! The previous site we stayed at chucked us off at 10am even though site was half empty!
So 9/10. Have been before and are going again - just wish they would provide own club/entertainment and indoor swimming pool. Would then give it 10/10.

July 2005 Just returned from Northam Farm. Facilities and fishing excellent. Although nearly every pitch was taken there were plenty of facilities and it never felt too overcrowded, except for the queue at the chip shop. Northam staff were excellent as we had a few difficulties travelling and arrived late. Not too happy with the staff in the shop due to overcharging! All in all, excellent site but will shop at Tesco at Burnham in future.

June 2005 We only stayed here for two nights, I wasn't really that impressed. We requested an electric pitch, but the site was packed and I felt we were just plonked in the middle of everybody else. The park was far too big for me personally as I prefer smaller parks. However, the showers were immaculate. Probably the best and cleanest showers I have ever used. Also, the beach over the road is superb and huge. The kids loved it. I did enjoy the two days, but wouldn't go back. sorry!!!

July 2005 I have just returned from this site after a 4 day visit the easiest way to do this review is in 2 parts pros and cons
PROS A very clean well presented site with lots of facilities and very helpful staff everything you want is on site shop, laundry, takeaway, parts and accessories.
CONS and in my eyes there are a few the first is mainly to do with where we were sited, we were in 3 acre field this is an unserviced field, it is a trek to the nearest shower / toilet block, it's a trek for the kids to go to the park, there is no water tap and no electric and for £14 a night for a tent in this field is too expensive. Next thing to be wary of is the website? the map makes out that the seagull inn and the beach are very near by, not the case again its another long trek.. TO SUMMERISE Yes a nice site but be aware if you have small kids like I do everywhere is a long trek and the unserviced pitches are just that and over priced. A 7 out of 10

June 2005 Came back on Friday the camp is very good we stayed on the no dog field the facilities are brilliant,v ery clean, piped music in to the shower and toilet area, brilliant idea! The staff and warden were very helpful, somebody had ripped the ID tag off our tent it was found on the road and the night watchman made sure we got it back, he was very friendly and helpful.
We have been coming to Burnham for the last ten years and this was the best so far we will be back again next year and hopefully stay on the no dog field again.

May 2005 Just got back, what a great site facilities, good and clean, word of warning though this site is huge and we were placed a good 8 to 10 min walk from lavs, this might not be a problem out of peak season. My sis stopped on the no dog field (new shower block) cost 50p others still 20p. I'd give the resturant a miss the cutlery wasn't dried before putting in tray the food wasn't that good either, it was also twice as dear as the breakfasts at Chaplins (Burnham on sea) which I would thoroughly recommend! If you have kids want seats at the Seagull be sure to get there before 17:30 . Some great acts check out Jungle Jim, Killer Queen and of course Ozzie if you have the chance.

March 2005 Visited for the Easter Holidays. The weather was great. Plenty to see around and about. We were in the no dog field, flat with good size pitches.Only problem was that they are still building the new shower block, so took the car to the next block. Showers are 20p a time, but, they do last long enough. They were clean and plenty of cubicles including 2 baths at £1 a time. The site facilities were good. On the whole enjoyed our stay.

August 2004 My mother first took me to Northam Farm when I was about 12 years old I'm now 34 and take my children there. Over the years I have seen the changes made to this farm and Brean itself, it's the best camp site that I have ever been to. The toilets and facilities are always clean. Pitches themselves are well maintained, there's an on-site chip shop and restaurant, parks for the children, a fishing lake (but if you don't like ducks I'd avoid that field as they wake you up for food in the mornings, I however loved them), there's even a nice dog walk if you happen to own a dog. Very near to all facilities... i.e clubs, restaurants, chippies, the beach and fair etc. If your an amusements buff I recommend Stardust.. also the fresh doughnuts van next to it. Also there is a free bus that will take you to cheddar (if you sit upstairs hold your hats as its usually an open top) and very often have open markets and car boots sales behind the fairground itself. Would recommend anyone to use Northam as it's clean and very friendly.

July 2004 There are just not enough superlatives to describe Northam Farm. It has to be in the top ten of British sites and so far I've not come across any better in 55 years of camping. Our first time to Somerset, we found Wookey Hole wonderful, Bath breathtaking and Cheddar Gorge charming. All within easy driving distance of Northam.
