I have just returned from Northam Farm camping site and can't find too many faults. The site is very well maintained, the staff are friendly and helpful, the toilet / shower blocks are very clean and there are plenty of them so you are never far away. The showers are 50p for a six minute shower, I heard some people say it isn't very long but I found it plenty long enough. They have an onsite shop which is extremely reasonable for a holiday park shop and very well stocked. There is a launderette and ironing facilities available for a small charge and they also have a take away and cafe onsite, the reception also sells a variety of camping equipment. There are various playgrounds around the site for the kids to play on and they are all on a soft surface for safety. The entertainment venue, The Seagull is quite a walk away. This will suit people who want peace and quiet but if you want nightly entertainment be prepared to walk for it. Nearby you have Brean leisure park which is an ample sized funpark with fairground rides and arcades. There is possibly more to this area but having only spent four days there I did not get to see everything. Overall I believe this site is well worth a visit as they have everything you need for a relaxing camping trip and all other facilites for entertainment are nearby. One thing to note is the beach is suitable for sunbathing / playing but not for swimming in the sea due to the quicksand. There are warning signs and patrols along the beach though so don't let this put you off.

This was our first camping trip and we really enjoyed our stay at Northam Farm. The staff are very friendly and the site is very clean. We stayed opposite one of the many play parks which the children really enjoyed. The showers and toilets are very clean as is the toddler room. The fish &chip shop was excellent, lovely chips! The Seagull Inn was excellent, good food and brilliant entertainment. Our site was in a no dog field with electric hook up and was excellent as we were very close to the shower blocks which was very handy with three young children. I didn't think I would enjoy camping but it was brilliant and I would recommend this park to friends. Will definitely visit Northam Farm again next year as there is plenty to do at Brean Sands.Very close to Weston Super Mare.10 out of 10

Good site albeit huge! Good selection of caravans new and used to purchase - nearly came home with a new one! Long walk to attractions, Seagull pub etc and only available car parking £2.00 a time! If you have kids it will cost you a mint on the nearby fair/rides etc which you can't go out of town without passing! Toilets spotless. 50p for shower £1.00 for bath. Showers a little too hot for kids. Takeaway on site is pants! Anemic soggy chips! Shop is very good value (own label can of coke 20p) The nicer part of town is by turning right out of the camp. Avoid the donkey racing/stock car racing etc at Brean leisure it will bankrupt you! £2.00 each person (including children) to watch donkey racing for 1 hour! £8.00 adults/£5.00 kids for stock car racing plus you £2.00 to park! Overall rating generous 7 out of 10

Just had 3 great days on this site. Was a bit scared as we approached the site as there are caravan parks all along the main road. Reception helpful and efficient and you wait at an area to be sited. As we drove through the site I was really disappointed with how close everybody was to each other. Not camping with the freedom and space you would expect. Packed in like sardines and with the roads going all the way round the pitches OH said it was like camping on the side of the road. These were the electric hook up fields. We were taken through to No Dog Field 3 and I breathed a sigh of relief! A large open field! The groundsmen gave us a great big area along a hedge which was perfect for our two big tents. The field was quite empty and everyone there seemed to follow the etiquette of camping, all quite by 11pm - never really noisy anyway. Loads of room to fly kites, play cricket etc. The facilities are excellent and always being cleaned and restocked - although there are no facilites or tap in the field we were in. Well stocked shop, very reasonable, camping gaz on site which we needed! (and cheaper than my local camping shop!). Fishing lake free, son only caught one tiddler but it was nice surroundings. Didn't touch the clubhouse or restaurant - not what we went for. Would thoroughly recommend the site and the non electric fields. Don't touch the others if you want nice open spaces!

We stayed at this site for one week at the end of July, beginning of August. We stayed on the no dog field on a hardstanding pitch with elec. The pitch sizes are good and security and site maintenance is excellent, the bins are emptied every day. We ate at the campsite cafe and used the takeaway - both excellent value for money. The site shop stocked everything you need, yes a little overpriced but no dearer than any other campsite shop i've been in. The Seagull Inn is ok for a a meal out, its within easy walking distance and some nights has quite good entertainment. Weston Super Mare is well worth a visit, the beach was lovely. We had a play area three caravans away, these were fantastic for the children to play in, fenced off and secure with opening and closing times so no noise at ridiculous hours! My only gripe was that to get to the toilet block or play area people behind us had to walk past our car or awning and I did feel quite open, some people had attempted to stop people passing by putting up wind breaks but this doesn't protect your car from kids on bikes, maybe fencing off the pitches with logs and creating walkways could solve this. Excellent value for money, clean and tidy in a lovely area, well worth a visit.

Just got back from a 4 night stay at northam farm, this site is MASSIVE but well kept and run it has a good chip shop / restaurant which is open from 12-12 and a good well stocked convenience store,.
It's about a 15 minute walk from brean leisure park and just over the road from the sea, the toilets are possibly the best and cleanest I have seen whilst camping and full credit must go to the cleaners who do a fantastic job. The showers cost 50p for about 6 minutes.
The site has security but with the site being so big the 11pm noise rule isnt always enforced but any problems there straight out to you and any problems are dealt with

We've just returned after a long weekend at Northam Farm. Checking in was good with helpful staff. We stayed on the Lakefield field next to the fishing lake (with EHU). Very pretty field with ducks and swans as neighbours. This is a huge site with various caravan/camping areas; two main shower/toilet blocks, both nice and clean. Be prepared though, showers 50p for 6 very quick minutes £1 for a bath. Also on site cafe/takeaway and shop, food good so we were told but a bit pricey. Lots of pubs and amusements nearby (bit like a mini Blackpool if you like that sort of thing, but great for kids). However, we used a lovely family pub The Brean Down Inn. (Turn right at the main entrance, 5 minutes drive). Very friendly, food totally brilliant and good value. Local cider MUST be sampled! Lots of local attractions to visit; Chedder Gorge, Wooky Hole, Bath etc. And if you like shopping Clarks Outlet Shopping Village at Street. About 30mins drive away, J21 off M5. This is a lovely site, well looked after and great value for money. Only down side, yes there is a beach but its dangerous. Quicksand and fast moving tides, not idea for children.

We stayed for a week and totally loved it! We were in the non electric and had the whole field to ourselves! The shower facilities were great and I loved the radio station! Had one night where some people were being really noisy but once we contacted the owners it was dealt with very quickly! We thought the on-site shop was very good and reasonably priced as well. Will be returning again in a few weeks, cant wait!

A lovely site to stay at. As usual with all camp sites, the people (staff and campers) were welcoming and friendly. We stayed close to the fishing lake. The immaculately clean loos and showers were close by. Also close by was a field with horses, who thoroughly enjoyed chomping a carrot or two when offered. These appear to be the horses that are on the beach for rides. The site is huge and quite a hike to the shop and the Seagull, which seems to be quite a long walk there, but not so long coming back, funny that isn't it? The entertainment and the food in the Seagull were superb. I'm not a steak eater, but the offer on one night was too good to miss, so I tried one. I am now a convert, it was so nice and tender, I couldn't get it in my gob quick enough. The resident DJ, although a youngster, was just cheeky enough to be pleasantly entertaining and treated young and old alike.

Stayed here for a long bank holiday weekend and were very surprised that for a large site it was so clean and orderly. The check in to the camp was smooth and the men on the gates as you went in were very helpful. We had a lakeside premier pitch (worth the extra money) and you can fish 24/7 if the desire takes you. The fishing was very good with some nice biggies being brought out everywhere but it does get a bit crowded so get out early! The amenities were clean and tidy and the shop and takeaway gave excellent service. There was some noise at night but this was quickly sorted when reported. Overall it was a pleasure to stay and will definitely be going back again. 8/10
