This is a lovely well run site. The road down to the site is a little tight and steep but if you take your time it is ok. Reception and checking in was very efficient and friendly.
The site itself is quiet with well spaced out pitches. The toilets were excellent and cleaned regularly. The site had many paths leading to East and West Runton which was excellent as we have a dog. We were able to walk to the beach most days and stop at one of the many pubs on the way back. Many local attractions were within easy reach.
Quiet at night and quite well sheltered. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday

We stayed a couple of nights at this lovely site, friendly staff, although the lady that booked us in was ever so sightly fussy. The facilities were first class. West Runton lies between Sheringham and Cromer and it's very easy to visit both Towns by train, that stop at West Runton. There is a golf course next to the site and a pub in the village, but we didn't use either. In Sheringham you can visit the North Norfolk Railway, who run steam trains. If you like Real Ale I recommend the Windham Arms or the Lobster. Cromer is also a nice seaside resort. Recommended.

I thought that Sandringham was my favourite site until we went here!It was fantastic - friendly staff - even offering a choice of pitches when we arrived!Beautiful location and well maintained!
The facilities were immaculate -even with radio playing in the background. The showers were huge, with individual dressing cubicles with door and not just a curtain. You just need to keep pressing the button in the shower - which incidently were set at a perfect temperature!
West and East Runton, were very lovely villages and the view from Incleborough Hill was lovely on a sunny day!
Cromer is nearby and is not 'tacky' like some seaside resorts. There is a Morrisons in Cromer aswell!
We cannot wait to go back again!

We have just returned from a 5 day stay at West Runton. We stayed over the August bank holiday weekend and had a really lovely time. We would thoroughly recommend the site. We have 2 children, one being 6 years old who had the time of his life. The site was busy and there were lots of children but for us, with kids ourselves, it was perfect. A great play area for the children meant that our son was occupied constantly and he was very sad to have to come home!
The toilet/shower block was faultless.Really great. Great washing up/sink and laundry facilities also. The staff in the reception/shop were extremely friendly and helpful.
We would highly recommend the site to anyone. Even though we have children and the site was busy with children, there were lots of areas on the site that seemed very quiet and away from the children's play area so the site definitely would suit all people.

Have stayed at this site twice now and love it! Would highly recommend it although we have visited out of the school holidays so can't comment on peak season.
We have stayed as a couple and this year with our 16 month old son who loved it. All the other campers were extremely friendly and the atmosphere is very pleasant.
The shower blocks are fantastic, spotless with loads of room. Very hot showers and extremely clean. The site itself is immaculate, grass is kept very short and the week we were there was very wet but the ground was mud free!
Very helpful staff, washing facilities and a fantastic fish and chip van 1 x weekly.
The site is in a very pretty village and would highly recommend Lucy's tea rooms and the village pub.
All in all 2 fantastic holidays have been spent here and looking forward to many more.

Spent six nights here and really enjoyed it. There are lots of sites in this area but this one is very secluded and hidden away. If you like walking and cycling to get to local facilities this is the site for you. It is a 10 minute walk through caravan park into West Runton (beach, pub, spar and camping shop)and 10 minute walk through footpaths into East Runton (fish and chips, two pubs). We also walked into Cromer (40 minutes). Above the site (2 minutes walk) is a lovely hill with views across the coast - perfect for a picnic or evening glass of wine!).
There is a train station in West Runton and the train service is really good value, we got a train back from Cromer and used it for a day out in Norwich!
The campsite itself is surrounded by trees. We were given a choice of pitches on arrival. They tend to keep families and children together on one side of the site which means that, as a couple, you have peace and quiet. The shower blocks were excellent, never had to queue and very clean, close and powerful. They had a BBQ and quiz night on the Saturday which looked fun and a fish and chip van stops on site on a Wed and Sunday. Were kept awake by a screaming baby and noisy tent next door one night but that was no fault of the campsite and it was peak season.

Great Site in a lovely location and very secluded.
Toilet/shower blocks best I have seen, could not fault them. Staff very friendly and helpful.
My only criticism is I went with 3 children age 14,12 and 9 but there was not anywhere to play ball games etc so they were a bit bored on site. Probably OK for younger children as there is small playground.
However would definitely recommend but more for a quiet get away from it all trip for adults/couples.

Excellent site.
Shower/toilet blocks really nice, clean and with large private washbasin and/or shower cubicles.
Entrance to the site is no problem if you take your time and stick to the rule of departures before 1200hrs and arrivals after 1400hrs. If you are unfortunate enough to meet another caravan moving in or out at the wrong time, there are plenty of pull-ins. The sites dog walk is along Inclebouro hill and is ideal, with beautiful views of the countryside and coastline.
Places to visit - Cromer, Sherringham, Wells next the Sea, and Sherringham NT Park is a must with free electric buggies available for the less able to travel around the park - I think the best time to see all Rhododendruns and Azaleas in flower would be early to end of May.
Our only gripe, not an issue for the site, but there was no local bus stop for us to use our recently acquired bus passes. A small price to pay for a really relaxing and brilliant holiday stay.

We have just got back from West Runton having spent 3 nights there. It is a lovely site. The showers cubicles are much bigger than any of the C&CC ones that we have visited and exceptionally clean. The site managers and helpers were ever so friendly. You can see the sea at West Runton when you walk to the top of the field (it's a 25 minute walk into West Runton. People have previously mentioned the entrance to the site, it is owned by the Norfolk Coastal Pathway people so not a fault of the C&CC but it's perfectly alright if you take your time.

We have just spent four nights at this site the toilet blocks are large and always very clean, the staff are friendly and helpful.
There is plenty of walks so if you have a dog it will be ideal for you. The beaches are only a short drive away if you fancy a stroll on them.
