Very helpful staff, gave us 3 pitches together in our own area with sea views. As it was Cromer carnival week this was amazing!!! this is the week to go, one of the best carnivals we have ever been to and it was an action packed week, never a dull moment. The campsite was packed which is not to my liking usually but the staff coped with it admirably, bless them, can't recommend it enough.

We just spent 2 very wet and thundery days here and despite the weather still had a good time. As per the previous review, this site is of a high standard, especially as it is a CCC site. The toilets and showers were very clean and staff friendly and welcoming. The site itself was very quiet and secluded, they tend to put children to one side of the site where there is a basic play area, we were the other side. My 'only' gripe is that the showers were very hot and non-adjustable so you cannot change the temperature, although my girlfriend seemed to think they were about right.
One point to note is that to get there you need to approach Holgate Lane from West Runton, going over the railway bridge past the station and turn left at the Roman Camp. If you approach it from the other direction, East Runton, as my sat nav told me to, you end up trying to drive up a footpath. Luckily a fellow camper was walking his dog and showed us the error of our ways - thanks whoever you were.
If I was in the area again I would definitely visit this site.

Numourous occasions over the last few years
This is a Camping & Caravanning Club Site,so the standards of cleanleness and service is of a very high standard, it is situated down a very secluded lane with plenty of passing places,The site is shaded most of the way round from the wind,but a walk up the nearby Inclebouro hill will bring fine views of the Norfolk coast, Cromer is well within reach of the site via numourous footpaths which criss-cross this whole area, we live in Norwich and this site is very local(20 miles away) but we still find it a very relaxing site with plenty to do at the nearby resorts,Cromer, Sheringham, East & West Runton.for a quick weekend break this is one of the best.
