 We stayed on Wavecrest campsite. The only was very friendly and easygoing. Facilities available including toilet, shower, fresh water, chemical toilet emptying.
The view of the sea was beautiful.
We walked to castlebay from the site which was a good 2. 5 mile walk but worth it for the lovely food at Cafe Kisimul.

Communication good. Very clean. Ticked all the boxes for us.
Good location as near castlebay.
Kitchen and showers were ideally kitted out.
Will hope to return.

Fantastic site. Grass pitch, but hard ground, so no issue.
The view is amazing & the owners friendly.
We spent three nights there & would definitely return.

4th visit to Borve and that says it all
Good pitches all with sea/bay view
Very clean and well maintained shower/toilet block
Well looked after by Donald and Allan
Walkable to castlebay or local beaches
A seal and dolphins in the bay on our visit
Not to be missed if touring/camping in Barra

One of the top sites we have ever visited and in a unique location.
Views are stunning an excellent stopover for touring Barra and perfect for the castlebay Ferry
Facilities are 5 star and staff very informative and friendly.
We would highly recommend definitely up there in the top ten

The location of the campsite is fantastic, very close to the road,
A great view of the sea,
Clean and comfy facilities, very helpful people.
We have received everything what was needed during our stay and so we were very pleased.

Fantastic site, brilliant location, really friendly and very helpful when you arrive.
Facilities are good always kept clean.

Great Campsite we were on a Concrete plynth so no levelling up required Alan and Cursty very good Hosts.
We walked back from castlebay after Cursty dropped us off in her own car
