 Lovely site.
A couple of minutes drive from the port.
Easy to find.
Right next to the sea.
Very friendly welcome,
Spaced out plot.
Clean warm facilities. Would recommend.

Fantastic campsite, great position by the sea but close to castlebay,
Lovely view westwards over the waves and excellent facilities.
Owner very friendly.
Cannot fault it.

Lovely site overlooking the sea, and conveniently close to castlebay for the early ferry.
Well equipped kitchen and laundry areas, and the showers/ toilets were clean with powerful shower without having to use a coin meter.
The owner, Donald was very kind and helpful.
He's also the local postie so you might see him out and about

Fabulous site, met us off the ferry beautiful sunset.
Really nice facilities.
Owner was very helpful,
Plot was ready and waiting with our name on the reserved sign.

Beautiful location with lovely views right by the ferry terminal to Oban and also gorgeous beaches and some lovely restaurants.
Clean facilities, friendly owners, hot showers.
We really enjoyed out stay and will no doubt be back! Thanks.

This campsite is great! Well. It's small but cosy. Great pitches with grand views over the Atlantic!
Toilets, shower, kitchen and laundry are all in the same building that is located near the entrance do nobody has to walk further than about a minute.
The campsite is also only a 10 minute drive from castlebay, shops, café and ferry.
And Donald is a pleasant host!

Very beautiful site, very nice staff.
Small but very clean sanitary facilities.
Good services (small kitchen corner with coffee, toast. )
Splendid view to the Atlantic Ocean.

Fantastic setting, fantastic facilities,
Donald is a great host and very friendly and accommodating.
Only spent one night there - nowhere near enough.
Barra is wonderful as is Vatersay.
Recommend a minimum of two nights and longer if possible.

Excellent site.
Everything as stated.
Fantastic extras for campers too. Kettle, toaster, microwave, small cooker, washing machine, tumble dryer, cutlery, crockery, tea/coffee/milk, all free.
Donald very friendly.
100% recommend.

Their are only a handful of camping and caravan sites on Barra.
Although this one has about a dozen or so spaces, it's clean and by far the nicest with good facilities and fantastic views over the sea.
Donald owner is pleasant and helpful.
Looking forward to our need trip to Barra and returning Borve camping and caravan site.
