 Barra is a lovely island with stunning views around every corner, this campsite is no exception. Dropping down slightly from the road to the pitches brings you to idyllic grounds with sunsets reaching across the horizon.
The site itself is beautiful and clean run by really friendly and extremely helpful staff,
As always the first port of call is the shower / toilets and cleaning facilities which were faultless with more than the usual white goods there was a toaster, microwave, egg boiler, kettle, extra utensils and plenty of hand sanitizers

There are three parts of my review -
1. The location. Absolutely beautiful- we couldn’t have got any closer to the sea without falling in! Very accessible from the road and close enough to the ferry for a first or last night.
2. The facilities. Couldn’t fault them at all. Showers and toilet facilities were virtually brand new. Also a room for washing up with a washer, dryer, kettle, microwave, etc.
3. The staff. The guy in charge of the site was brilliant. There the minute you arrive and always on hand if you need anything or have any questions. He is a great source of knowledge about the island and was extremely helpful.
Cost was £17 per night for us - camper van without electric. Washing machine was £3 and dryer was £1.
All in all, one of the best sites We have visited- I would most certainly recommend it.

Excellent location on the edge of the sea With Brilliant views and great facilities with a welcome Host from Alan.
Easy to find when you leave the Ferry port.

Really clean facilities, gorgeous views, Allan and Doug were both extremely hospitable and welcoming.
Small kitchenette, laundry facilities and shower toilet block. We couldn’t ask for more.

Best campsite we have stayed at: clean, friendly and welcoming, beautiful setting, WiFi, kettle, washing machine and drier, hot showers, very reasonable price.
No suggestions for improvement- perfect!

Camp site with wonderful views, warden very helpful and polite,
Amenities clean and tidy and looked after well,
Would definitely recommend this site, but would probably have to book beforehand this summer due to staycation

An absolutely fantastic site in a fabulous location, topped off with glorious weather.
If we come to Barra again would definitely use this campsite.
Allan looking after the site couldn't be anymore helpful and the facilities were immaculate.
