June 2005 I also visited Trentfield for the UKCS meet. I was not at all disappointed by the nearly finished facilities. There was hot water and toilets, what more can you need. The showers, although only 2 of them in the ladies, were excellent, free, plenty of hot water and lots of room. I did prefer the rally field, which was next to the riverbank, to the commercial field due to it been well screened from the power station. A nice touch was a fridge and freezer in a the pavillion where you could freeze your own ice-packs free of charge. It was nice to be able to cool a box of beer there bought straight from the supermarket.
A leaflet of information was provided by the owner listing things to do, where to eat, drink and shop etc.
I am looking forward to the meet that may be arranged for next year, but hope to visit this site many more times before then.

June 2005 Just returned from a lovely UKCS rally here. John couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming, thankyou. Will definately return - lots of space for kids to play their own games, riverside walk to pub; what more do you need!!! Ladies facilities spotless altho still work in progress on the mens!! Would be useful to have more sinks for pot washing but John says this is in hand. See you again!

June 2005 We have just had a great long weekend here with a Ukcampsite rally. what a fantastic site and owners, they can't do enough for you, all very nice and clean, plenty to do, lots of space, not cramped together. Went oh Johns treasure hunt by car, what a laugh, and good fun, I dint win. but so what........ Will definitely go back again, hope to make it my local one.

May 2005 Very friendly owner, will be a good site when finished. Read last years reviews and thought that all the facilities would have been finished. Mens toilet block still not open, ladies toilets very clean but not finished. Water taps could have been clearly marked as this is a farm need to know which taps are drinking water. Alot of work still to be done which was dissappointing. Two fields which were level. If they hurried up and finished the work we would have had a wonderful stay here. Power stations caused no problems.

May 2004 Nice site, clean and tidy. Tap water close to pitches. Toilet block still not completed was told waiting for the fixtures, but still a shell. 4 toilets and 2 showers in portacabin cleaned regularly. No lighting around site, no seperate play area. Owner friendly kept checking to see if everything was ok. will go back again, but only for a short stay.

April 2004 Visited this site after the "featured site" listing on ukcs , which slightly misleads.. The toilet block was still not complete, but site owner insisted it would be complete for the summer season...,this aside; we were made to feel welcome and stopped on the rally field (so did'nt hear the power station noise) - good local pub close by serving food.. Overall average site alongside the banks of the river trent, will greating improve when the new toilet block is finished

Nice Riverside site with lots of Nature Walks. Farm is very Nature concious with its own conservation areas. (Lots of Wildlife). Site is flat, well kept, tidy and is run by the owners.
Facilities include Washing Machine/ Indoor Drying. Food Preparation area, BBQ area, Childrens Play area.Mega Hot Showers!!.
Lenny says: - Cannot praise site enough, only £3.50 per tent per night. Very quiet but easy access to lots of local attractions. Definately the Best Kept secret campsite we have come across.
