We stayed on this site for one night on our way down to Devon, won't be doing that again, we are staying two nights on way down and two nights on way back next time,
What a delightful site. We found the showers to be very clean and toilets too.
We were on pitch 10 and found our electric cable to be a bit short, the owner lent us another one to extend and reach perfectly.
We are going down again later in the year

Just returned from our third visit to this site, as ever friendly welcome by owners; Could not do enough to accommodate us where we wanted to pitch our caravan.
We have yet to see this site in an untidy state all the pitches level and well marked out.
So easy to reach from motorway no narrow lanes to negotiate.
As stated in previous reviews only two showers and starting to look a bit dated no complaints about cleanliness. Facilities get better with each new visit Wi Fi and now a Fish and Chip van on a Thursday.
Although have to say not the best reception for wifi unless you have a powerful machine to pick up reception. Will definitely visit again

Excellent site with good facilities. However, only two showers in mens block, which caused queues at peak times.
Scott and Jo very approachable couple and will help with any problems. Didn't sleep very well the first night mainly because of the noisy road on one side of the campsite. Presume it would be quieter on the other side.
However, had no trouble sleeping the second night. Surrounding area has an Asda, Harvester, Kentucky fried chicken, B & Q, all with walking distance.
Also, the bus stops are just outside the site and take you either to Gloucester or Cheltenham in a short time.
Overall very good.

This site is an ideal location for touring the Cheltenham area and the Cotswolds. Access to the site is easy and it's pleasantly landscaped with trees and mature plants. The shower block and toilets are quite good and kept clean. The main problem, s and the reason I wont be coming again are
1, The noise on the site from the surrounding roads is intense, have a look at where this site is located on Google earth and you'll see what I mean.
2, The pitch sizes are quite small, the caravan awning next to me was within about 5 foot from my van and therefore quite intrusive.
3, Some of the units on the site are huge, it appears to specialise in large American style vehicles and we had one right next to us. It was like being parked in the motorway services.
4, A few other minor things like WiFi advertised on website but only accessible in some areas, the warden said it's very good in the laundry area!
Also there is no cycling allowed on the site roads and very few areas for children to play.
As previously stated ideal for a short break or as a base but in my opinion not for any great length of time. By the amount of caravans coming and going it appears very few stayed for any great length of time. We booked in for 12 days but left 2 days early, we've never done that before.

Just had a lovely 3 night stay at briarfields what a great site this is.
This is our second visit and definitely wont be our last such a clean and tidy site. Owners are so helpful.
Used the park and ride again only £4. 20 return for 2 of us not worth hassle of driving into town.
Fish and chip van on site on the Thursday night. A new Indian restaurant opened just up the road, did not have chance to try though.

What can I say that hasn't already been said about this cracking site, was only going to have a couple of nights here on our way to cornwall but was so impressed with it & its surrounding area we stayed for the full 2 weeks of our holiday,
12 mins to cheltenham by bus or 20 mins to gloucester the other way, being in cheltenham was quality, some great independent shops in montpellier region as well as bars & cafes, further into town we used pubs like slug & lettuce as well as shooters for the euro 2012 games, which had offers on drinks.
Back to the site, only met Scott on a couple of occasions & he was a sound lad, when we got there his dad was holding the fort (& the babies) when Scott arrived home, & he was a sound bloke who was well clued up in the caravan & camping game,
will use again. Often.

Just returned from a trip where we stayed two nights on this site. Great location for visiting Cheltenham and Gloucester. It would have been possible to park in either of these cities however we took the very regular bus service (stagecoach gold, with leather seats!)There's also a cycle path for Cheltenham. In you don't fancy dinning in Monpellier Walk there's an Asda mega store withing walking distance or a few fast food outlets.
Owners very friendly and helpful. The only criticism would be there's only two showers per gender so could get busy when there's up to 80 pitches occupied.

Booking this site was easy and friendly as was booking in on arrival. Pitches have easy access from site road. Showers and loos are immaculately kept. Public transport is really easy from this site with bus stops to Cheltenham or Gloucester right from the site entrance. Both have a good variety of shops and places to eat. Gloucester Docks are well worth a visit with museum and outlet shopping. Being so close to a main road there is some traffic noise but it certainly does not spoil this very pleasant site.

Just returned from this lovely site. It is very well located for the M5 and Cheltenham town centre. Excellent bus service from outside the site to Cheltenham and Gloucester, important for those of us without a car. A pub and ASDA were also within a short walking distance.
On arrival we were given a warm welcome and allocated a pitch. Purely due personal preference, we asked to move pitch. This request was met with pleasantness and the owner could not have been more helpful in finding us exactly what we wanted.
The pitches are nicely spaced, the toilet block first class and the site layout is good. We were even provided with suggested local dog walks.
We rarely stay outside the club site network, but shall be returning to Briarfields again.

What a great site, situated within a couple of miles from the M5 it is close to both Gloss & Cheltenham. With the Bus Stops just out side of the Site Gates, you can catch the No 94 Bus into either Gloss or Cheltenham every 10mins.
The site is very pleasant and laid out in a manner to optimise space without having a feeling of being over crowded and is complimented by being well maintained with a very clean toilet block and plenty of hot water.
It also benefits having a Harvester, KFC and ASDA within walking distance.
We were very impressed and have booked again in July.
