Used this site recently but will not use again. Owners seem very nice people. Toilets etc are OK. Very easy access to site from M5 and bus stops to Cheltenham and Gloucester are outside the site. Park and Ride to Cheltenham is within easy walking distance.
The majority of the site is OK but we found a particular area rather untidy and shabby and appeared to be designated to trade people ie: window cleaner, taxi driver and other trade persons. There was also a large old green vehicle that looked like it did not move.
Children were playing on the roadway as there are no designated play facilities for children.
As other people have stated there is noise from traffic and planes but you sometimes have to expect this if you want easy access to places.

We had two nights at this site whilst touring the Gloucester / Cheltenham / Cotswolds area. Lovely welcome from owners, who are very informative and provide you with a full information sheet relating to local shops, places to eat and drink, bus services, etc., which was worth it's weight in gold!
Lovely clean toilet/shower blocks - as previously mentioned, code to get in is a little long to remember - we typed ours into our mobile phones as a 'Draft' so we could refer to it easily!
Bus stop right outside site into Gloucester which takes half an hour - well worth a visit. The only downside we really thought worth mentioning was the noise from the road alongside. All in all, we would use this site again if in the area.

Some people will absolutely love this campsite. Some people will adore the regulation, neatness and so forth of it and as such we will be careful to try and remain constructive.
First, before we get objective, please indulge a subjective comment. There is an atmosphere about the park of jolly old England, lawns clipped with nail scissors and so forth and it is an atmosphere (driven by an almost Stepford-ish internal quiet) that has a slight edge to it that made us feel really quite uncomfortable. Sorry.
Now being objective:
Pros:
Central toilet/shower/washing up facilities
Good location - close to town, near shops.
Information sheet - informative.
Regular sized and clearly laid out plots.
Clean.
Very neat and tidy.
Internally very quiet.
Gents toilets warm at 2.30am when the sirens wake you up.
Cons:
Only one shower in the whole facility was any good. All the others were push button showers that would only stay on when the button was being pushed.
Poor taps in toilets. Again these were push button and only worked when actually being pushed, not very easy to wash your hand one handed.
Hugely noisy! While no one dared make a sound on the site itself the campsite is literally surrounded by busy roads and the traffic did not stop all night. Not just traffic mind you there was the airport operating all night too. And the sirens (some possibly connected to GCHQ. A 2min walk away).
Long and complex code to remember for the toilets and showers.
Concerns about security - We were told the toilets had the long and complex codes because drunks would walk in off the street and use the facilities. Not the sort of thing you want to hear when you are staying the night!
No facilities for children.
General feeling that children aren't welcome (we were greeted with a disdainful 'oh. You have three of them'.
Shower heads in the ladies' were rusty.
Ladies' showers needing a clean.
Overall this is a site that would suit those who are without kids, slightly deaf and love regulation and order to their lives with a little bit of hardship to endure and I know there are plenty of folks out there like that.

A great little site.
Very friendly staff and helpful.
This was the first campsite we have been on since buying a caravan and we were very happy with it.
Shower block was very clean and lovely and warm inside.
Our pitch was hard standing and I think all the pitches are which was good for the time of year it was.
Local area is lovely, easy reach of Cheltenham and Gloucester for great days out, we also went to Bourton-on-the-water which was amazing.
Car boot at Cheltenham Racetrack is well worth it.
Nothing for children to do (i.E no park) but the site is child friendly, plenty of space to run about and play
Very good value for money, would recommend this site to friends

Stayed here as a stopover travelling back to West Wales after being to the Motorhome show. Had Sunday lunch at the Pheasant Inn which was absolutely brilliant. As for the site it is very clean and well maintained, showers great. Would definitely recommend this site as a no nonsense easy to find, and at only £14 with hook up, find that hard to beat. Shall be back and next time plan a trip into Cheltenham, buses every 10 mins. Nearly forgot, the staff were great, Thanks.

Had just one night stopover here - found the site very clean and tidy - pitching was on concrete, but maybe a little narrow for some drivers - we had full hardstanding so our was fine
Owner's very friendly and helpful - lots of local brochures in reception and owner offer help with anything in particular of interest to us
Didn't use facilities as it was just a sleepover and we have everything onboard
Easy drive into Cheltenham town centre
Happy to use site again when in the area

We wanted a mini break over the Christmas and New Year period and this site was ideal for the Gloucester Quays and the local towns and villages.
It was very easy to find, just off the M5 and the directions given on the website were spot on.
We found the site to be clean and tidy but the pitches were not big enough to be 'all weather', we found it to be a little soggy underfoot in the awning as the van was on a hardstanding but the awning was on the grass.
The code to get into the toilet block was very long which was a bit of a pain when the children wanted to use the shower/loo.
There were only two showers in the block and both were on a push button system, which is a little frustrating when you have children to shower!
There is no play area on site.
The surrounding area is beautiful and there is plenty to do for all the family.
The information sheet given to you when you arrive gives the location of local shops, pubs, taxi services, buses etc which was priceless.

Just spent a week on this site, surrounding area good for shopping.Easy to get to from main roads i.E M5,A40. Toilet block clean but showers are press button type and only lasts for about 5 seconds at most and just trickles out, told owners but they could not do anything about it, this spoils site as rest of it is kept to a good standard and its peaceful apart from a little traffic noise if you are by main road.

We used this campsite as a stop-over for 3 nights on our way down to Devon. It is a very easy site to find, just off the M5 and is very reasonably priced at £16 a night.
The owners were very friendly and when I had booked in I was given an information sheet and some tourist leaflets. The information sheet was really handy as it had on where everything was, such as the waste disposal, water etc. It also listed nearest shops, pubs and caravan stores - so a very good idea - I wish more campsites would be as efficient!
We were on hard standing with electric and the site was lovely - very well kept. The toilets and showers were very clean and modern and you need a code to get in which adds to security.
There isn't a playground for children, but we didn't find that a problem. The only downside to the campsite was the traffic noise and the aeroplanes overhead, but this is because it is so close to the M5.
There are lots of lovely towns and villages nearby, Bourton-on-the-water being one of them and it is an ideal base for touring the cotswolds.
If you are looking for a stop-over campsite on your way down to the South or South-West then this is the ideal site. We would definitely return!

We arrived at a rather busy time but were promptly shown to our pitch. The wardens were a little curt but helpful. The pitches were all in a line making it feel to me like a car park and it had little character. Toilets were clean but dated and with only two there was a queue. Rather irritating to have to punch in a code every time we needed to use the facilities as it was so long you could not remember it.
