Very well-organised campsite-some hardstanding / grass pitches, some all hardstanding. No play area that I saw but children were riding about on their bikes. Some really big outfits were staying here- winnebagos etc.
The tent area seemed to have better views and to be quieter. The part of the caravan area we were in was marred by road noise. We had to pay for electric hookup but our hookup lead would not reach the connector which seemed a very long way away.
The toilet block was obviously new and well kept-very clean with free showers and hairdrier in the ladies (20p) Don't really see the need for the long code number to get into the toilet block, which is well inside the park and not likely to attract the casual passer by. Nice park but a bit lacking in atmosphere.

We walked to The Pheasant and had a nice meal which was a bit let down by the bland puddings.

Very easy to get to from Junction 11 M5.

This is a very nice site set in a lovely area on the edge of the Cotswolds. There is a Park and ride near the site which will take you into Cheltenham, a lovely town to visit.
We arrived on a Thursday when the site was quiet, the toilet block was clean if a trifle dated, the taps and showers are push button which can be a bit irritating. On Friday the site began to fill up and by Saturday it was packed, then commenced the only real problem I had with this site which was a couple of football matches between caravans with no regard for footballs hitting caravans and awnings and young kids on bikes riding around the vans and cars- totally unsupervised by parents or the Warden
That would stop me going again but if you can put up with that then the site is ok.

We visited this site Easter. So easy to get to off the M5. Friendly staff at reception, helped with caravan onto pitch. Site, toilets and free showers very clean. There is a Harvesters off the roundabout, or a pub in walking distance - turn left out of the site. Central for visiting Cheltenham and the surroundings. We shall use this site again.

Have stayed here often but not impressed with it this time seemed to be a lot of units are permanent homes. They were mostly parked by the toilet block this visit. Lighting and hot water were not good this visit but clean and tidy. Didn't seem the most secure of parks as several cars drove around the site during the weekend. Just looking round don't know if they have any form of ctv on site but there are no barriers etc.

Will return as its so easy to get to off M5

Besides its accessibility from the M5, this site is conveniently on a frequent bus route for visiting both Cheltenham and Gloucester. It's well maintained, with plenty of hard standing but without that 'car park' look you sometimes get. The reception was very friendly and helpful over a temporary problem with frozen taps during an exceptionally cold spell. As others have mentioned, the showers are rather weak, but the cubicles give a welcome lot of space for dressing and (very unusual this) shower gel is supplied from a neat dispenser next to the shower. The only real annoyance was the complicated key-pad entry to the toilets and showers, requiring a seven-long string of letters and numbers! There was no obvious justification for this, and it could surely be dispensed with most of the time.

I was very pleased with this site! It's in a fab location and the owners could not have been more helpful and friendly, offering to help push our caravan onto the pitch. They provided great information sheets for local amenities and dog walks. The facilities were spotless, as was the park.

We visited the nearby Harvester pub (following directions from the information sheet), highly recommended. Just don't go ordering starters or extras, you won't need them! The portions are huge and you can visit the salad bar as often as you like.

Cheltenham is lovely, some great shops and easy to get to from the site. We spent a good few hours at Crickley Country Park with the dogs, it's lovely and only a short drive from the site.

Although I heard a few aircraft from the neighbouring airfield they did not cause any problem, and I can't say I heard them after teatime at all.

We usually stay at Tewkesbury as a stopover both there and back on our Devon holidays, I feel sure this site will definitely be one of our stopovers now!

I have stayed at this site many times over the past 12 years as it is convenient for my needs but I have noticed a change since the present ownership.

When I arrived I found the staff pretty miserable and unhelpful. I have never had to pay for 3 nights when I only wanted two either (just because its bank holiday) because it was very busy anyway. (personal opinion)

The location is convenient, just off the M5, and although there was a lot of traffic noise it wasn't a problem. There is a Harvester and KFC within walking distance which was nice and very reasonable.

The campsite IS kept spotlessly clean and tidy. They do work hard to keep it looking nice. Last year, lovely weather, firm ground, cars were NOT allowed on the grass. This year, pouring with rain, mud bath, all cars could park on the grass!?! It did ruin the turf. Perhaps more car park space required?

The toilet block is coded which is a good idea but unfortunately the showers within ruin it. If you are happy to lean on a button to get a trickle of water out then they're fine. (Did hear the men did have one decent shower with taps!). The shower heads desperately need replacing. The water is very hot but, with only two showers you could be waiting a while at busy periods due to the poor water flow.

Would return as there is no other campsite nearby but do think staff could be friendlier. It would make a big difference.

We have stayed here several times over past few years we always come back as its so easy to get to off M5. The last twice we have stayed we have seen a great improvement in the park which is level and well drained last year stayed during thunder storms and a weekend of torrential rain but roads soon clear of water and luckily we had hard standing. As this stay was a bank holiday the stite was the fullest we had ever seen it but still plenty of room. Traffic noise can be a pain but after a while its not so noticeable and can only be expected so close to main road.

Toilet block is clean and tidy bit of a pain to use pin numbers for entry when you need glasses.

They have disabled room which is small but ok apart from small sink which didn't have hot water while we were there but morning we left a chap was working on it.

The staff are very friendly and even help to pitch up.

A great site for leaving the car its a few minutes walk to park and ride into Cheltenham and

Bus passes site into Gloucester.

Stopped at this campsite for one night on the way home from Newquay.

I would recommend this site as it is close to the M5. Its grounds were very well kept with the grass kept nice and short and all the pitches are on hardstanding.

The toilet and shower blocks were immaculate and used a code to enter.

There is some slight road noise however it is low and didn't cause us any problems.

Would definitely use this site again.

Stayed here for one night last weekend and was very pleased with the site. We camped in a lovely secluded corner.

Despite some rain the night before and when we first arrived, the grass was in superb condition and appeared to drain well.

The toilets and showers were lovely - you are given a note on arrival with a code to input at the doors to the shower and toilet block - this works well.

There is some road noise from the dual carriageway behind, but it's not too bad. The various different planes coming in to land at the nearby airfield were loved by our daughter and fellow child campers!

All in all a lovely, tidy site that we'll use again when passing through.
