Clean friendly site with good cafe with lovely good value breakfast, shower block clean but a bit dated.

Great sized pitches just make sure to take long cable as some pitches are quite far from power.
Staff were friendly, cafe has nice food.
Great facilities very clean, great walks to beach and along coast.
Short walk to town where there are plenty of shops and pubs with plenty of outdoor seating

A group of us stayed at Acorn last weekend, we had 6 tents, all families with young kids and a dog. We also had other friends who stayed in the huts which looked nice.
It’s a pleasant site, the staff were nice and friendly, the showers and bogs were clean and tidy, nice little play park with a trampoline, and a well stocked shop, and there was a laid back feel to the place.
Llantwit town just up the road has a couple of good pubs, and shops and the beach is nice, for walking, though it’s not a bucket and spade type of beach as it’s a rocky beach with some sand only at low tide, and it does have a very reasonably priced cafe.
This isn’t the sort of site I normally use as I like a camp fire and be able to play a bit of music in the night if I fancy, however it was fine for two days and I would use it again.

Very busy site this wkend lots of tents. Showers and toilets clean, good washing up facilities. Toilet roll did run out in some toilets.
Busy park, shop fair stock. Outside seating area and park could do with tidying.
Cafe had good choice of snacks and food, good quality and good portions.
Large dog walking field. Just over a mile to walk to beach, instructions given at reception.
Would stay again

Stayed 2 nights in My berlingo micro camper as I live 10 miles away and I had been there before. Had a fantastic stay.
The owner is very friendly and helpful. The people on site were friendly and even though people were having a drink and playing music. They were very considerate later on.
Plus there are lovely walks around stunning coastline there.
Well recommended this site.

For the 2 nights we stayed we had a great time. The walk to the ‘’beach’’ nice and flat. The shop cafe at the end was a welcome sight.
We will definitely be coming back, this time with the grandkids, who will certainly make good use of the play area by the on site cafe

Lovely site, pitch & facilities, wifi only available by the cafe which was a shame as my other half had some work to do.
Cafe excellent.
We ate in dog friendly pubs in Llantwit Major which was about 30 min walk.

Fantastic campsite lovely and quiet and peaceful great toilet block with plenty of hot water and always warm. Lovely cafe and children’s play area great size pitches. Lovely people who run the site!
When my daughter took a wrong turn in the village and got stuck instead of getting grumpy the husband went straight out in his van and rescued them!
We had a great holiday thank you!
Great value for money!
