This is such a lovely campsite.

The pitches are very sheltered and shady. The toilet / washing block is big and all indoors.

The showers/sinks do the job and are nice and clean.

There is a lovely shop and cafe which was really lively.

Especially on the sun am as there had been a wedding at the venue a short walk away.

The small, pebble beach can be walked to or is a short drive.

The park was a hit with my daughter as had a big trampoline!

We received a very warm welcome upon arrival and the staff were very helpful and accommodating, ensuring we had adjoining pitches as we were holidaying with our daughter and family.

Our granddaughter loved the play area and the cafe served excellent breakfast and lunches as well as a tempting selection of cakes. Close to Llantwit Major for shops and amenities.

Very quiet at night, when we stayed everyone observed the after11pm quiet time.

The negatives…. The site could do with some tlc, particularly the toilet block. The facilities were generally clean and always warm, with plentiful hot water.

However there were a number of maintenance issues and the general condition was tired and dated.

The water point was difficult to access with an aqua roll, which had to be lifted up onto a brick plinth. Very difficult to lift down when full.

This is not the prettiest part of Wales and many of the beaches are stone rather than sand.

This was my first visit to the area and I am not sure if I will be returning.

The people there are fantastic and will do anything to help.

The site is lovely and quiet. The facilities are clean.

There is a small cafe and the food is amazing, some of the best I've ever tasted.

There is a small shop for essentials and more. Pets are welcome.

My husband and myself are now regulars at the site.

I would recommend this site to anyone.

Brilliant site the people there are fantastic and will do anything for you. The food in the cafe is amazing.

The facilities are always clean and tidy. Good size pitches, the beach is a bit of a walk but easily accessible by car or on foot.

There is a small play area for the kids. In general a lovely quiet site.

We are now regulars at the site and love it

Very friendly site. Cafe was excellent.

Nicely laid out with hedges splitting site into sections.

We had 3 High Gear 10p units, 1 x4p unit and shelter across 4 pitches ok, put 3 vehicles on car park.

Normal size tent and vehicle fit easy on pitch.

Facilities, dated as some mentioned but spacious and plenty of hot water all the time.

My most favourite site in past 20 years.

 Booked a few night away

Staff at friendly

Site itself is dated small pitches we had to have half the awning on grass as hard standing not big enough for van and awning

Toilet block well it was clean and severed the purpose but very dated

Alot of old tatty vans around which must be seasonal but doesn't give the site a good look

Will unfortunately not return

Roads leading up to the site are narrow and did cause us issues getting in and out

A lot of people on site that where having fun etc but did abide but the rules for the quite time

Fantastic site. Clean, tidy and friendly staff. Great location.

The sausage sandwich was delightful, the bread was so fresh!

There is a bouncy castle for the kids which is constantly inflated.

The washing facilities were a little walk from the tent area and were a little dated, but everything was clean so not much of a moan.

All in all 10/10 from me.

I will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you

There was nothing to dislike. The owners were very friendly.

They had a lovely little cafe very reasonably priced.

The beach was in walking distance if you like to walk.

Toilet facilities good and clean. Quite a quiet site and other campers very friendly.

We have stayed there on three occasions with no problems.

Small shop area which stocked really useful items if needed.
