A beautiful natural site next to a river and arched bridge, surrounded by trees and bushes.

The pub on site was wonderful with fantastic beer garden and park for children.

The shower block was warm but did need updating. Also the barrier getting in and out needs improving (we had to find the groundsman so I could get out).

Even though the site had mixed groups, adults, young children, lots of dogs it was quiet. The only thing that woke me was the morning bird song and cows in the field across the river.

The pitches are long so good for larger motorhomes but could do with being wider.

However there was enough grass area in between each pitch.

I would stay again.

Loved the location with the pub on site offering 20% off food.

Pleasant surroundings, lovely pitch by the river.

Sunny from 9am all day.

Bus stop nearby to visit Bakewell.

Plenty of walks and historic houses nearby to visit.

Facilities kept clean in the campsite, washing up area limited and shower trays slippery be careful.

Expensive for Facilities provided but would visit again.

Stayed for one night on pitch 1.

It was in the shade but didn't matter for 1 night.

Shopping centre next door is convenient. Had a meal in the pub.

Staff very friendly and pub is dog friendly.

Needs electrical barriers and shrubs or hedges planting between pitches to soak some of the water up

Also at least 10% off the food bill in the pub if your camping or staying at hotel.

Great location, very friendly staff, clean and warm shower block.

All pitches flat and well maintained for the time of year and the amount of rain we have had.

Lovely quiet location, friendly staff and easy check in.

Toilets/showers were immaculate.

Right next to Peak shopping village too.

Lovely meal enjoyed in the pub.

Great site to stop. Always well organised, clean, safe and secure.

Downside if you're wanting to take bus into Matlock/Bakewell they are very unreliable but that's not sites fault.

The site is set in a beautiful area with some of the loveliest scenery and great for walkers. Bakewell is one mile away by car. The pitches and facilities are of good standard, and the pub is right next to where you camp.

The place would benefit from an electric barrier as you often have to wait for staff to manually open it, they are often scarce during the day.

The have recently brought in a pitch charge of £10 pounds to secure the pitch you want, I think the price is more than enough for the original booking which is due to go up to £40 pounds a night.

The site is all year round, a great advantage for those who don't want to stop part way through the year.
