It’s a really nice site just a little expensive. £25 midweek and £28 at weekends.
We were here in December so hard standing pitches very welcome. There’s regular buses to Bakewell.
There’s a shopping village next door but only if you want fancy pillows and middle aged clothing retailers.
A small supermarket would be a lot more practical and would bring in a lot more trade.

The site is fine not the best we have ever stayed on but was ok
The pub was really good
The small shower block was awful extremely unclean
Only went in the once
And used our own shower after
As it is only Ehu
Having to fill the water up as we’re using our own showers
As we wouldn’t use the sites facilities
That was the only negative I can say but just to be aware of that

Idyllic site in a beautiful part of Derbyshire,
Toilets and showers were clean and warm.
The Grouse and Claret pub came in handy on both afternoons/nights.
We will be returning.

Very pleasant welcome from the staff in the bar and pitch was ready for us on time,
Well maintained toilets/shower facilities and perfect position for the bus to Bakewell or Matlock, food in the pub was good and very good service from the bar staff.
Will definitely be returning to this excellent location for a relaxing weekend.
If I had to find a fault the only one I could find would be the grass could of done with cutting but that will not put me off returning.
